cherie24: Oh yes dearie..Thank you...the visa stuff will actually be 1yr by March. Ok then, i will try.. How are u and urs? So,so sorry to hear that your visa was revoked last year. I think you can apply for renewal now. The issue of the revoked visa is most likely to come up,just be truthfull, appologise that you made a regretable mistake by not telling the truth during your last interview and that you are sorry about it. Wish you all the best. |

Bernghos: Dear Nairalanders,
Please, the stories about POE are scaring. Please, any idea of a safe POE?. It's horrific travelling for such a long distance and CBP refuse entry. Please, I have noted that CBP at Houston and Atlanta POE are very strike on pregnant women. Which other safe POE can anyone suggest to me?. I really wish not to be disturbed at all because it I intend to enter at 32weeks. 2. Please, what are some of the reasonable answer to the usual question at the POE "What is the purpose of your trip"? 3. I have learned of El Paso TX, MIHS Phoenix and Methodist Medical Center Houston. Please, apart from these, is there any other cheap hospital in Houston?
Please share! Cheers!, There is nothing to be scared about POE ? My advice to you is read this thread in detail from at least page 100 if you cant start from the bigining and do your home work. It has been mentioned here by some people that JFK New York is a friendly POE. Nothing to be scared of,just make sure you have all the neccessary documents.. The statistics of people that have been turned back at poe on this thread is almost zero |

mamacajah: @anonymousmum and others who just delivered their LO safely I say congratulations.
@All who had successful POE. Congrats as well.
My journey to having my child after almost 12 years of marriage has been concluded with part one: getting pregnant, delivering my baby safely, giving birth in America, returning home safely and dedicating her to GOD have come to pass.
We are back home safely with the heat, no regular light, etc that makes najia special. I have enjoyed myself richly in this thread and will be retiring officially till the part two of the journey commences. I wish all the nursing mums, pushing mums, pregnant mums and supportive fathers success in your efforts. GOD who wiped my tears and turned it to joy will also see you through all your endeavours, IJN Amen. Congrats mamacajah. I say amen to your prayers. The lord is indeed a faithfull God |

[quote author=ajobi21 post=29936467]Hello House, thank you for all the wonderful information you all have been sharing. I have a challenge i would like help with. I've noticed that the hospitals don't have email addresses and even the doctor i want to use (New jersey). Is there any special website that provides these kind of information cus even when i called one of the hospitals, the receptionist said he doesn't know the email address of the hospital or even the doctors. please help. thanks[/quote
In my own case, i contacted the doctor i wanted to use and the secretary told me that they dont book appointments by email or give out doctors email addresses,so what i did was get an email correspondence from a doctor that was willing to correspond by email ( a couple of doctors email addresses have been shared here) and used his corespondence as burden of proof. The hospital i eventually settled for was not even any of the hospitals i contacted before leaving 9ja. Got a better deal when i got to the us |

Newmum0615: Good day members,
I making inquiries for a friend of mine. She is not so good with using social media platform, so she needs to know if she can take another doctor/hospital's letter with her in addition with ElPaso's in case they have issues with the doctores parati letter. She intends to show them that she has contacted 2 different hospitals and might be using either. The only snag is that she will have to pay non-refundable registration fees at 2 different hospitals just to get their letters of medical responsibility. I need advice please.
Thanks. I dont think your friend would have any issues. There are doctors and hospitals mentioned on this forum e.g. Dr Fagbohun that dont collect deposits before sending you their letters. |

Newmum0615: @SAkale: Any luck with your enquiries on Elpaso? A friend is considering using them but she doesn't know if she can rely on their letter of med responsibility.
Dear US Birth Team
I have been reading this trend and will like clarification on some issues i noticed.....
Is it that it has been proved that EL Paso through doctoresparati.com is not a good choice or, PeaceNigeria and other new moms are just having a little misunderstanding that has led to confusing me a bit on making a choice. Kindly clarify the best option for Birth in USA. I will really appreciate this ASAP.
Kindly respond anyone....
Thank you. Hi, what was said if i can remember correctly was that dresparati are not medical doctors but agents and that some visa officers at the american embasy dont accept their letters as burden of proff. That said, some people have also gotten visas with their letters and others have also been turned back and told to ger another letter.. My candid advice to you is get anothet letter if you are going for visa interview. You can still decide to go the el paso route after you get your visa and enter the Us |

segbas: Hello My People in the house:
I got an email from Dr. Fagbohun, I want to know if I still need to book an appointment with Oakbend Medical Center and to have letter confirming that my wife would be coming to give birth at their hospital to add with the Dr. Fagbohun's letter.
Please throw more light on this for me, I will apply from Doha, Qatar and here the VO will check and scrutinize all doc thoroughly, that is why I need more information to convince them.
Thanks, am awaiting your response.
Congrats to all new parent in the house.
God Bless, Its better if you can get a letter from oakbend med centre, but that said, some american hospitals will not correspond via email for appointments booking, dont know if oakbend does,if they dont, then you are good with Dr Fagbohuns email, since it has an attachment with a compprehensive breakdown of both doctor and hospital fee. Good luck. |

labdej: Good day all,
Please can anyone assist me with any sample letter of invitation from a US resident.
My wife, son and I intend to travel to the US to have our second child. We intend applying for the visa and declaring our true intention.
We have an aunt living there who is willing to accomodate us during the period. But she requires a sample letter of invitation which she can
write to invite us.
I do not want to just write any sample for her, I need one that would contain all the improtant information usually needed by the US embassy.
Kindly assist I would advice you to go back and read this thread very well,,at least from the last 100 pages backward, you will find all the info you need for this venture. I dont think your auntys iv letter is one of the most important things you need right now, come to think of it you dont even need any aunty to invite you once you have evidence to prove that you can fund such a venture, start looking for hospital and doctot around your auntys location e..t.c. The most important thing is read this thread and do your homework. |

hopefulme: Congrats @bj for the Smooth poe.
Hello house.please will there be any possible delay if 2adults and a toddler travel with more than 9.9k used.what has been anyone,s experience so far on money exceeding this amount. I dont think you will have any problem if you travel with more than 9.9k, i think the important thing there is for you to declear the exact amount you are carying, fill it in tne form they will give you before landing and declear it when you get to poe.DONT WAIT FOR THEM TO ASK YOU BEFORE DECLEARING IT O. Or better still you and the other adult can split it among yourselfs and convince them at poe that what each individual is carrying belongs to him. This is just my opinion i stand to be corrected by gurus in the house |
