blossom101: Good evening my wonderful people. God bless you all.
Pls I need your advice. I had my baby in 2018 with my B2 Visa and all hospital bills paid with all receipt collected.
I am few weeks gone now, due date is ending of Jan 2020 and my Visa will expire by ending of Feb, 2020. I would like to know if I can still use the same Visa to birth my 2nd baby and pls can DH apply for his own Visa without us going with him to the embassy?
Thank you for your response in anticipation. Yes you can still use the visa, the important thing here is that you get into the US before the visa expires, what you should concern yourself with is the duration of stay that the CBP officer stamps you in for at Poe. Yes, your husband can apply without you going with him, infact you won't be allowed to go in with him if you are not applying together with him. |

Nersh: Actually, not quite correct. For booking.com, you will have to check and make sure the hotel/ accommodation you are booking had FREE CANCELLATION otherwise your card will be debited or a hold placed on funds depending on the policy of the hotel you choose so check and make sure.
For air bob, most accommodations will ask for some kind of upfront payment, and some do have free cancellation. Again, it’s accommodation dependent and you have to read the terms and cancellation policies of the host before booking. Yeah, you're right, forgot to add the free cancellation bit. Thanks for bringing it up. |

bugflector: Hi house, I want to know how airbnb.com works for those that have used it in the past. Do I have to make payment for at least 1 month to be able to book the place down? is there any other alternative site I can use to make apartment bookings, I'll appreciate some help here. I am filling this DS-160 form and I need to add an address of where DW will be staying since we have no one in the states, any help on this aspect too will be of great value to me. Thanks. Go to booking.com and use your Naija ATM card and make a reservation at any accommodation close to the hospital your wife is using, and print out your reservation. You will not be charged until the date of your booking. Make sure you cancel it a day before the due date if you are not going to use it so that your card won't be charged if not you'll be charged for a night if you don't cancel or show up. No you don't have to make payment for at least one month to be able to book airbnb. You pay for the number of days needed. |

TWoods: The Dropbox news was May 15th, I’ve been back here for a few days prior to that. Not everything is a conspiracy. If Nigerians simply followed the rules, this won’t even be a topic for discussion. Tkpako! We missed you. I like the new you. Is it me or the new Twood is a calmer person? |

chloe00: I’ve been reading quora.com and posts from a recently retired us consular on there , she answers a few questions discretionarily and dvd has said it countless times that she hears people panic when they don’t use their visa and she’s even heard that you won’t get issued another , she went further to answer that not using your visa gives you extra points and it doesn’t matter at all if you didn’t use it
https://www.quora.com/?digest_story=59364594 Thanks for taking time out to attend to this. |

PAQ: As against what is on the cap of my 2011 Corolla (0w20), my mechanic uses Toyota 5w20, which i buy 4k per litre. Pls i want to ask if its good for my engine, i just got reading about engine oils, viscousity etc.
Would like some enlightenment, and advice pls. Is your oil full Synthetic, Synthetic blend or mineral?5w20 is very ideal for your car, your mechanic upgraded the oil from 0w20 to 5w20 because of our hot weather in Nigeria. And if you car is a high mileage car, that is,if your odometer is above 100,000 miles I'll advise you use 5w30. |

Japsylee: I am so happy and elated for you. Please house I have a different problem. We were issued a U.S visa sometime March last year and I have visited twice while my wife was yet to use her own. She was asked wether she was pregnant last year and she said no she was not. She is now pregnant and wants to give birth in the U.s. I am in a fix as regarding if we should write to the embassy to inform them of our plab or just travel cos we have bought our ticket already? Please help a brother Let me advice you to the best of my knowledge. There have been people here who were issued visas like your dear wife for vacation and later wrote to the embassy that they wanted to use the visa for birthing and they got a letter from the US embassy Informing them that the visa has been canceled. So I would advice you to jejely tell your wife to reapply straight away and not write any letter, this would show the visa officer that you guys are sincere and straight forward. Someone on this thread followed this route and she got her visa. Do not write any letter o, just apply straight away. |

Please can someone kindly help with this information. Why don't you call the embassy or send them an email to confirm what to do. Left to me ordinarily, I would have thought that since your passport number has changed you might need to fill out a new DS160 Form |

aamey15: Hello everyone, so i proceeded to apply for a B2 visa, i havent gotten a date yet but i have applied on the Website. My issue now is people are saying that since i have a valid B1B2 visa, even if i apply for a B2 visa i will still be issued a B1B2 visa. That applying for a new visa when i still have a valid one makes no sense and waste of money. My current visa expires in December 2019.
I am just confused at this point sef.
Biko guys come to my aid oo, since i have a valid visa i dont need to apply for a new one. that its only when it expires and i want to go give birth that is when i will apply specifically for B2 visa.
Friends in the house help crack this ooo.... The matter is straight forward, no need to be confused. Was your present visa issued for child birth, if no, you have 2 options. Option one, take the risk and travel with it, you just might be lucky to scale through cbp at poe Option 2,apply for a new visa and state categorically that you are going for child birth. All things considered,if I were you, I'll take the 2nd option. |

Eruks: I would advice that when you travel by May try and do your Canadian visa in us it takes about 1 or 2 weeks that way when you are renewing your us visa you won’t be desperate and having the Canadian visa will help your case. You can also renew your us visa before it expires. Pls I want to confirm if it's possible to apply and get a Canadian visa in America with your nigerian passport when you are in the us on visiting? |

irynterri: 1. which is cheaper between USA or Canada? 2. how much do I need for visa and the total costs for me and my mom, please the amount should be in naira, I'm not too good with dollar equivalent? 3. is a budget of 3million naira enough? 4. do I need to travel there before delivery or will a virgin passport be rejected? please I would love answers from experienced people, thanks. 1) I can't really say which is cheaper between USA & Canada 2) visa fee is $160 each, which should be approximately around 58k each in naira 3) I don't think 3 Million naira total budget will do it, cause that's less than $10k 4) You don't need to have travelled before, people have gotten visas here on virgin passport |
