Why not just display two and spare us the ceremony? |
oluchijud:2go in 2012.. Facebook in 2013.. Whatsapp in 2014.. I no go join any other site next year ![]() |
oluchijud:This is the fourth social platform you have beefed me on.. For that reason, I will prepare moin moin for you ![]() |
PassingShot:I'm sorry, but you're not an objective person. I am disappointed because in spite of your seemingly knowledgeable stance, you have failed to reason with an open mind, and look beyond your nose. Calling a person who is the president of your country 'Mr Clueless' portrays you not as a patriotic citizen, but as a selfish individual in all ramifications. Yes it is our task to rescue the nation from its fall. We are all clamoring for change. That doesn't mean we should be blind to how things are done or supposed to have been done. This has gone on for too long. Handing over the country with a noticeably educated populace to a man who cannot even give an acceptable explanation for the whereabouts of one of the prerequisites for being voted in is an oversight that cannot be imagined. Was he ever prepared or qualified for the job or was he using his position erstwhile to boycott the norm? Did you EVER follow this line of thought? |
Having noticed that majority of this generation are not ready to do things in the proper way, it is safe to say that we will make the same mistakes our fathers made and our unborn children will make the same complains we are making. Let us hope our unborn generations are ready to ignore our poor life choices and endure the heat of their youth to enjoy their future as well as create a better atmosphere for their own successors. |
jamace:With the simplest of words, you have painted the situation in the country vividly.. The monster we need to slay. But No! Instead of that, we are fighting the war for the country's enemies. Some see emancipation of Nigeria this year. I can't see it in the PDP/APC exploitation experts we call leaders. I can't even see it in we, the masses. Until we adopt the real 'CHANGE' in our mentality, not even a party's slogan can rescue Nigeria. |
PassingShot:Yes. What are open letters? An address to a particular person? A bland show-off? A misplacement of priorities? Needless I must say. If you must write an article, do so by all means. If you must write a letter, address it to whom it concerns. They are as pointless as their oddity. I will never tolerate any of my generation who can't take time to ponder the truth of things themselves but rely on the utterances of random individuals, especially biased minds. |
He doesn't have Buhari's mailbox or email address? When will you, younger Nigerians, stop being tools to satisfy the political libido of Nigerian politicians? When? People utilize all forms of mind-games to campaign for their choice of leaders, and instead of carving a niche for yourself using your powers, you get tangled in their merciless net and are dragged along. Look, Nigeria have had leaders in the past. They will have new ones this year. They will also have one next four years. And four years after that. It's an endless routine. So, why engage in this ruthlessly like you have no tomorrow; like your tomorrow cannot exist without the presence of a particular person in a particular position. Take time to think. Politicians are busy strategizing how to win various seats. That is their future. We should be busy strategizing how to excel in our various occupations. That is our future. If you do their work for them, they won't do yours for you. Time wasted.. Nothing gained. |
Chei!! I hope it is not Mama Oghenerobor!! ![]() |
VoteOutPDPJona:I just noticed your username.. GIGO. |
philips70:"People here are well-informed." So you say. Now prove that every statement of his is wrong. Don't just scream blindly. Educate the people. If the people are well-informed, it is only by well documented buttressed information, not shiny castles in the air. |
VoteOutPDPJona:Since many of you are quick to point out the absence of GEJ in the areas affected by insurgency. You will build a house one day. Make sure you don't give money to anyone to buy anything you need for the building. Do it yourself! Make sure you supervise the builders from the foundation till the paintjob and fittings. In fact, do them all yourself. Give as much time as you live to the building. Then check out how long it took you and how much progress you were able to make, that is if you didn't run mad or stress didn't drive you to your sickbed. Check out how perfect the house looked in each of these: 1. When you did everything yourself. 2. When you let others help. 3. When everyone did their job. Owning a house should be a priority. Just like a country deserves her president's 100% attention, it also deserves all your attention. Governance is like a tripod stand. One can't perform the function of the other, nor perform its function without the other. Any of them missing in its position will lead to loss of contents of the cooking pot. These things are as simple to understand. It baffles me how people can be so blinded by sentiments that they forget even their own identity. The insurgency attempts averted recently didn't include GEJ in their midst, but it happened, didn't it? Leave to Caesar, what is Caesar's. |
natureblack:LOL.. #Cruel |
Majority of them lack the necessary education to see beyond their nose, hence the negative crowd mentality that governs them. The result is that they are being used as puppets. Moreover, I'm led to believe that the predominance of the indigenously violent Islamic religion there has a part to play in the volatile reactions of their youth. If GEJ wins or not, I'll buy an underground bunker with a 6feet surface concrete slab in preparation. I no fit shout. |
The cost of governance in this country is too damn high! |
FastShipping:Like seriously, stop spamming. Create a thread or something for this information. It is only an assumption. The real deal is still weeks away. This is much ado about nothing. |
HzRF:WTF ![]() |
Oh really? I consulted 'Don Moen' also before I decided to attend secondary school. |
Bravo Nigerian Army! Your deeds in these trying times will be remembered! Soon, someone would say the 'president', not even the government or the army, but the 'president' is doing nothing to fight insurgency in the country. |
teemanbastos:Be reasonable. |
teemanbastos:The newspapers you pay ₦150 to get, were the 'live covered' articles in it presented by humans with '4 arms'? Be reasonable. OP, Nice job. These are what we need to dominate Nairaland, first-hand articles, not quoting other newspages verbatim. RIP to the dead.. GWS to the injured. |
safarigirl:Strong and determined, he is. But cool?? Choi.. The man sabi vex oo. Old age brings dementia most often. Sad thing watching the usually active folks being all weak and forgetful. |
MissSlimbody:As in ehn.. How time flies.. |
Richiy:Omo Naija ![]() |
I personally think the OP has a strong point of view. But it will be disregarded because he is prejudiced against the president, and thus, spares the misdemanours of the entire government. |
GEJ's administration can't fight corruption because it is a corrupt government.. Can APC really vouch that they are the exact opposite of GEJ's government? Rivals doesn't mean Opposite. They should slow their bombs. |
Rochas was a great experience so I will vote him in again.. But not beyond his 'four' years. |
My Grandpa.. Early this year. Had a row with an elderly man in the village over electricity issues. I was capable of handling the man myself but when word got around that I was involved in a physical tussle with that man, my grandfather who was down with partial stroke clothed himself for the first time since his return from the hospital, came out and took the fight into his own hands. Everyone who knew his medical condition were surprised. I was impressed and learnt a great lesson then.."Despite all hinderances, never desert family". He was aged 84. |
Giving a detailed information on his/her life and criticizing every damned thing on the road.. You'll hear things like: "Oh.. See hold-up! That's why I dislike travelling by road. If only Dan Dollars didn't cancel my flight.. Mtschew!!" ![]() |
To your tents, O Israel. |
Mommy, how did the baby enter your stomach? |
