wickyyolo:With One Drive you can do that. The only limit is multi-user functionality. |
crazygod:True to some extent, particularly as you mentioned, with regards to storage. I love ms Access, the forms are also more user friendly. That said, Excel offers so much more particularly in terms of data anaylsis. Most Relational databases still import data to Excel to be analyzed. |
wink2015:Very well said. Though I heard in the news many months back that the government was considering / starting this. It's just na Naija we dey, people will either willingly protest or be paid to. Just like with JAMB, I expected every Nigerian to support the proposal to extend JAMBs validity. Reverse was however the case, it was still politicised. |
Mobsync:Thanks, funny enough I use a Samsung phone but have never tried the default browser. Will do so today sha. |
wickyyolo:Lol if you are into app development you'll know there's nothing "easy" about creating Apps. Excel beats app creation in 3 ways: 1) Affordability: App design is expensive, most Startups & SMEs in Naija, still struggle to cover more pressing business needs & don't have funds to hire a software developer. 2) Flexibility: Excel can perform a whole lot functions, there's no single App that is even half way close to meeting this. Applications are usually designed to solve a SINGLE need. Excel solves MULTIPLE needs seamlessly. 3) Availability: Excel is very available. Almost any laptop/ PC you buy has it preinstalled (trial / full version). This makes it convenient to use. You don't need to consult anyone to get it. My opinion sha o. |
whyx06:I assume you already have the data? If yes, use the bolded part of the URL below https://youtu.be/eMEhjbhtfxQ) Btw Thanks to the mod that pushed this to FP. Muchas Gracias... |
Strike is becoming a very common term in naija. Infact I doubt anyone graduates from a federal university / polytechnic without experiencing this in some form. Unfortunate to say the least, that no administration has been able to get to the root of these incessant strikes. All sectors in Naija go on strike, it's seems to be the most used form of agitation. There's definitely a problem somewhere, ether from the government, the institutions leadership or both. |
Spot on, we learn everyday. Though not a blogger, I'll try the "Puffin Browser", might be of use to web designers. Alot of browsers like Google, Mozilla offer Desktop view in their mobile apps, but unfortunately this doesn't work for all URLs. Some URLs force you to either use their mobile version, or mobile app(if installed). Hopefully Puffin will be different. Wonder why it's not really popular though. |
lol @ watching CNN. Only God and the 2 of you know the truth. Unfortunately, we might never know... |
Using Microsoft Excel In The Workplace Microsoft Excel is an indispensable tool for any business. We all use it, either to create Reports for our boss or to track our daily business activities. Most Employees however struggle to use Excel. Excel is ideal for Storing, Analyzing & Presenting Business Data. Below I'll explain each of these in more detail: 1) Storing Data: Microsoft Excel is the No. 1 Business Tool for storing Company Information - from Textual data like Employee Records, to Numerical Data like Sales Numbers; spreadsheets like Excel provide an affordable "Notepad" to store data. Employees can take advantage of "Excel's Data Form Functionality" to ease the process of entering data into Excel. Data Forms provide a user friendly way of entering data into a spreadsheet without having to scroll through cells. 2)Analyzing Data: Microsoft Excel has inbuilt formulas that enable employees better analyze & retrieve data. For Instance, Monthly Sales Records can be analyzed to obtain: Top Selling Products, Top Customers, Top Salespersons, Top Selling Month. Basically enabling you draw insight from numbers. Excel Pivot Tables enable employees summarize & analyze large Data Sets with simple button clicks. Textual Data functionalities can be added to assist with data retrieval. The employee can easily & quickly (both useful in determining efficiency) extract any business data - a) Customer's Contact Information b) Patient's Medical Record Number c) Product's Rack/bin Storage Location, etc. This not only saves you time, it increases your efficiency making you more productive. 3) Presenting Data: In addition to analytics, Microsoft Excel supports the creation of Charts, Graphs and other illustrations. As the Idiom says "a Picture is worth a thousand words". Charts easily depict trends and make "sense" of numbers. Humans are generally able to infer meaning from these quicker than from figures. Presenting information into Graphs allows employees visualize the info, helping them understand it better. For instance: plotting Monthly Turnover figures or Product Sales Numbers allow companies compare progress over time, easily spotting upwards & downward trends Graphics also give life to Reports & Presentations. All Employees at some point have to create reports, either to present to their team, or to submit to their superiors. Either way Microsoft Excel steps in as the tool for the job. - Using Percentages to present Sales Target achieved; - Using SUM & other aggregate functions to calculate Total Income generated, Sales Income per category; - Using Bar & Column Charts when presenting budgets, Actuals vs Proposed Spending; Excel is an immensely Complex Business Tool that has many more functionalities than listed above. However it's flexible nature enables Users mould it to suit their specific business needs. Source: http://designvat.com/FAQ/Microsoft-Excel-For-Business.html

Exactly, everyone should keep their opinion to themselves. It's poverty that's causing this sef. If God really blesses you, what is 10%? But all these hunger stricken mofos eh, 10% of N1000, that's huge. No insult intended oh. It's just why can't you keep your views to yourself. Nobody forces anyone to tithe , infact in my short period on Earth, I'm yet to hear of a church that admits only tithers. Everyone is welcome to the house of the Lord. Leave those that tithe to keep tithing, na your money? My commenting is even encouraging topics like this. Moving forward I'll ignore any topic on this issue. |
laudate:I meant Kogi jare, old age is setting in. Thanks. |
oz4real83:Please reread my first post I didn't advocate for more states, I adviced reducing the numbers of states in other zones, i.e. merging states. I've never been in support of creating nonviable states. Many states in the North East, West, South West are economically not viable. They can be merged. |
oz4real83:Dude Zamfara & many other states have a population of little over 2 million. Zones & states in Nigeria weren't created based on population, we all know that. If it were the case Lagos or Kaduna landmass would hold multiple states & Ekiti will not exist. Kaduna has almost twice the land mass of Kano. If you follow history you'll realise that there's no correlation in Nigeria between population & landmass & zone / state creation. |
Sad if true. For one to take his / her life. Damn. It is well, I cannot overstress the importance of motivational videos. Atleast every morning pop one in. As humans, particularly living in developing economies, we need to be continually motivated. Churches & other religious bodies do their part, we need to do ours. You can play it in your car while driving, on listen on your phone if you commute. It's very important. |
Yes o. Most of those pop-ups are so annoying, few you can't even close easily. It's what I call annoying advertising. While I understand the need to advertise at any chance, it shouldn't be bastardised. |
Mr. Jonathan might not have leadership skills, but his personality is so likeable. He gives off a simple & humble vibe. I twale for you sir. |
BiafraIShere:My guy, if only you see some government spending, you would be flabbergasted. Contracts run into billions of naira oh. It's sad but true. We run a wasteful system of government. No checks at all. Governors are not audited by anybody even the Finance minister cannot question a governor's spending of their allocation. |
Personally oh me I Kant. But different strokes for different folks. I don't judge people that can. At the end of the day, we all want to love and be loved, there's really no better feeling, or so I hear. |
Ofcourse na, was anybody arguing otherwise? The bone of contention is Kwara & parts of Kogi which should also be part of the south west, atleast the Kabba region. Also the South East has only 5 States, my remedy to this would be reducing other zones to 5 rather than creating nonviable states. |
Politicians will remain politicians, no surprise here. Expect more endorsements till mid 2018. |
Yes o. More of this. Then we can now eliminate by qualification. Youths wake up, even if you cannot contest, get involved in the election process, follow the news, read about aspirants and most importantly VOTE. Your life purpose isn't only to follow premier league & gamble on Naira bet. Get Involved |
Before, so he should stop living, or in your words "stop his swag". My dear life goes on.. |
Lol @ if your partner is wealthy. It is well. Ride on jare, if you don't market yourself who will? |
holuwajobar:lol, A Statue of Mrs Ellen would have made much more sense than the SA Guy. She is the first female Head Of State in Africa, not a small feat by any standard. Though considering the whooping sum of 520 million expended & the current state of Imo state economically, it might not be the wisest of investments. |
So they sell such at the Vatican. Tsk Tsk. Nice move Mr. Pope, i might not agree with your other liberal views, but on this we are together. |
The babe makes sense, though packaging is still involved. You can be all things through packaging. |
Its been long i watched a Nigerian / African movie oh. |
Damn all fields are lucrative oh. Years back who would have thought a singing career could amass you such. Bottom line, you can succeed in any field. Just strive to be the best or among the best. |
OtemSapien:Help me tell him o. That's my issue with Nigerians, they like mixing things up, you will be saying A, they will reply B, totally uncorrelated with A. What does Buhari's qualification have to do with the sacked teachers? I guess the folks commenting are also products of this failing education system. We should unite as Nigerians and applaud the Governor for starting the process of sanitizing our education sector. |
Money is good mehn. From the hair, to the make up , camera quality & photo editing. All cost money mehn. |
toyetade:Not really, if music is all you've known / done for over 40 years, you can't just leave it, it'll be all you'll do till you eventually go. The man will forever be a legend. Would have loved to invite him to my future wedding, but heard he no longer attends events commercially only out of respect. |
