9ja_I_hail: Did anyone noticed that Gowon is sounding like a confused and worried xmas hegoat? i know what troubles his mind right now as the matter surfaced in 21 century. He must be saying right now if this people take this case to Hague what do i do, now awo and co is death only me will face the music lol heheheIn all seriousness though, why haven't you ibos taken your case to the Hague if you believe so strongly that you were wronged? Is it for lack of concrete evidence or that you know truly that your enemies did what was to be expected in a war? |
re@lchange:Hague laago melo? Lo sun jo! |
Jarus: JUDGING CRITERIAKai! would hate to have you mark my exam papers o. |
hahaha...ibos! They are protecting their spare parts and fake drugs shops. Dem no say if yawa gas, their investments would be up in smoke. Wise move. |
Dudu_Negro: Ahem....hold on, let me clear my throat......aahhem!I know his type, they like playing hard to get but i'll get him. ![]() |
Gbawe: How can anyone interpret my utterances here to be "lobbying"? It is clear I disqualified myself from Judging anything, yet those determined to carry hatred for others everywhere will still never stop malicious lies and utterances submitted carelessly and falsely to malign others. ![]() bye, bye, don't let the door hit your ipako on your way out o. |
CAMEROONPRIDE: he didn't appeal the ruling of the IJC ..cause he knew it was worthless and Bakassi belongs to us ..now to all the nigerians living on my land u better cool down and ask yourself what so far Nigeia had done for u in this area...to the war-mongers lets make it clear Nigeria can't win a war against Cameoon...so you have come to gloat? |
Jarus: Ayaba, ekaabo.i'll be the Lord chancellor. Anyway,I am for the women and I nominate Sisi-kill, skyblue, isale gan. |
Jarus: PointB,Mighty igor! ![]() Anyway, just don't include Gbawe's name in the moderators abi na judge. I see that he has started indirect lobbying by being all over this thread like white on rice. Sheesh! |
re@lchange:Abeg, tell them o. But you really need to be talking to your daughters about this. They just seem not to be able to resist the advances of the Yoruba boys. |
chino11:I just love the way you insert the letter 'a' before, 'a' in the middle and 'a' in the great sage's name. It shows how much you rever him and how you consider him to be the first and the last. He is the first in everything that is progress, innovation, good governance and "ass" whooping the ajokutamamumis. |
Joanna Sedley: can't believe you are a lady; inciting this type of hatred and bitterness in this sectionGet over it and deal with your definition of a lady, already! |
Austine.E:...and what the 'f' are you lot gonna do about the so-called revelation? Isn't it a shame that you lot have waited this long to ever address this issue and even more pathetic that you wait for your crippled uncle who clearly has lot his marbles and not to mention him being the greatest coward still existing. It is astounding how your ilk go around calling the ethnic group that brought your silly existence to its knees 'coward' when your stupid crippled uncle couldn't even muffle a word in the life and time of Awo the great. You lot are what we called 'eran iya' in Yoruba land because no matter how much you are beaten, you would always come back for more. You are all goats and should not described as humans but wild, unyielding animals. That is what you all are. I keep saying to Yorubas to stop this 'omoluabi' bullshit and start inventing clever policies to oust you all out. I am glad that Fashola is gradually coming to that realisation. I think you are at the end of your tethers now. Not only will you lot be shish kebabed in the North but your day of reckoning is drawing closer in the west and that is a day I shall relish in. |
gree-die:...but he didn't fight another day. He walked with tail between his legs to collect his pension and even endorsed a man whom was partly responsible for annihilating his kinsmen for presidency. We all know that he didn't fight another day but died a vegetable. |
CyberG: Come see ibos celebrating the very THING Chief Awolowo told the whole world and fought for before independence! The backstabber and saboteur ibo man Zik went behind Awolowo to make alliance with Ahmadu Bello calculating that by cheating Chief Awolowo, the iboz will be the beneficiaries after independence. The iboz new the Hausas were less educated and less interested in all these ambitious things they talked about: running railways systems, airport, ports, government parastatals, education, etc and they took advantage until the tides turned and then, they pretentiously went to kill the leaders of the Hausas. They story continues but I will do that on another thread.OPOLO!! |
CHESSBOARD: [/b]...and you know this how? well, the UK and its immigrants is actually a very good comparison. The ibos to other parts of Nigeria are nothing but economic migrants who believe that they can do no good or succeed until they get to Yorubaland. |
Chimanet: am waiting for wen una go drag us comot lagos with envy and jealousy. lazy folks...but of course, we know that is what makes you sleep at night. How else are you to console yourself after a thorough beat down and anihilation in war? Your self esteem has taken a real knocking to it, collectively as a people and making little money here and there out of junk and drug pushing is still money, afterall. If you believe that it is pride to build a mansion on sand which tides can come along and wash away at any time, then by all means, continue to dwell in your la-la land. A wise man builds on the rocks, darling. |
hugafella: I have read all you guys have said, and it seems like Afghanistan in here. But lets be objective. First of all, the justification for the war is unquestionable. A pogrom of any kind must be resisted.Secondly, I would be better prepared in a war if you spelled it out right from the outset that you were my enemy. But when you suddenly become a turncoat and betray me right in the middle of things, it becomes rather painful. Awo, whether we like to hear it or not did not act like a fine gentleman. He remained on the fence and surprisingly aligned with our enemies to harm us. 2 million children starved to death, those kids were the future generation of engineers, lawyers, soldiers, or professors. They were not fighters. The Ojukwu I know would never have done that to the Yorubas. But the good news is that we have moved on. Afterall, I dare anyone to tell me any tribe that has more faith in the Nigeria project than the ibo man. This is self evident in his willingness to invest in and develop all nooks and crannies of the land. The questions we should be asking is this: who are the true patriots? Is it those who invest in all parts of Nigeria? Or those who would prefer to destroy Nigeria if they cannot rule? Put in another way, we can now see how far Awo's actions have brought us. Are we now more united in Nigeria?is Nigeria moving forward? Have the hausa not squandered our collective resources? Even though they contribute little? But some people seem to be comfortable in the face of injustice, while others confront it head on. The latter group should never be criticized for doing so. Because, it is because of such critics that Nigeria is where it is today. My final point- never be afraid of your past. No matter how ugly, They inform your future decisions. If you don't know where you are coming from, you can't know where you are going. My foe, do not mistake greed, selfishness, self-centredness and necessity for patriotism. That the ibos are investing in other regions does not reveal their "patriotism" or belief in the Nigerian project. Their moving forth into other regions is borne out of the need to survive. They know that no right thinking Nigerian would come to their region and after their fruitless attempt at secession, the government had lost interest in planting anything in their land for lack of trust and their commitment to the Nigerian project. Ibos are traders and in order to succeed, they have to go to their markets and their markets are not in the east but in the west and the north. Ibos loathe Nigeria but loves its money and that is what you are mistaking for patriotism. An ibo man would do all within and without his means to earn money and that is why he is going about setting up in other regions to make the money by all mean; not because of some stupid belief in one Nigeria! To the iboman, it is all about the benjamins, baby! |
felifeli: I wonder o. So I am supposed to keep feeding my battle opponent so that he can have more strength to fight me next day abi ? Apparently common sense is scarce in Igboland.Scarce? I'm sure you meant to write NON-EXISTENT!! |
Yeeparipa omodeyi balu je! O ti fi okoro tayin o. Opolo ti poju, kilode! Dende1, how are you gonna counter these points intelligently, this man is showing you up big time o. Let me get some orange juice and balance proper because this pro corruption guy just dey mesmerise me. Ogaju! Prof Corruption: Let's start with your foolishness first. |
Bliss4Lyfe: Achebe lived through the Biafra War and knows very well wat he says. Can Awolowo's Duaghter say the same. Who cares if Awolowo's Daughter is disappointed or not? Her father is a War Criminal and Mass Murderer, dey should deal with dat.dodosco, how do you know for sure that he is a war criminal and murderer? Did you live through the war too? Moraforker oshi! |
Prof Corruption: When your clueless fathers were planning the war, were they planning to lose so they would come back for their savings? Efulefuserious sense! |
Andre Uweh: Did Prof Achebe just publish a book about Biafran war?. The answer is no.were asaba. Ngodigha, you don change mask? |
Just as ojuiku led the ibos to a war which got millions of them killed, Achebe is in the process of repeating history. I really hope this development heats up the Yorubas and for them to look around and wake up from their effing slumber! Enough of this stupid so called 'hospitality' we need to start cutting down some branches!! |
Standing5: Prof Corruption, i must say i am very impressed with your presentation of facts on this thread so far. . . All verifiable claims that fits into indisputable history and that can stand the test of time . . . . Let 'em hater go cook up something new for their personalized consumption.Indeed! I am staying up just to read from him. |
oro kabiti, oro kanka! Prof Corruption: Obasanjo became the president but why are you ignoring the events that made that happened? Did we shoot anybody to force Nigerians to concede the presidency to South West? Don't you see the power of wisdom that the two presidential candidates in 1998 presidential elections were from the West? |

sheyguy: Landlocked yet Worst hit . . . Maybe they can start a seaport right away. The same people wishing a tsunami on Lagos would not have a home to return to in the east afterall. |
alj harem:Yes ke! is it not our oil? Forget about the flood and casualties and protect our national interest at all cost. |
Prof Corruption, I duff my hat to you. On this thread alone, you have totally annihilated the ibos. Totally enjoy reading your retorts. Splendid! |
as long as the oil does not affect our oil o. |
afam4eva: How i'm i being rude? What i said is my personal opinion which possesses a strong aversion to your assertion. This okoro boy is making sense today. What da heck happened? Oh well, a broken clock is at least right once a day. ![]() |
