I honestly dont understand the pettiness of some of you so-called Nigerians. YES we sacrificed a lot in their struggle against apartheid, no one can dispute that. But was our sacrifice more than those of the Namibians who were actually colonised by the racist SA regime or Zimbabwe (Rhodesia) who were attacked multiple times by same regime for harbouring ANC members?

And if I may ask, there were TENS of world leaders there. Did the world end when the others didnt give their tribute? And what will OBJ do if Nigeria wasnt listed to give one? Sieze the mike! You seem to forget that the actual show of one's strength is HUMILITY.
ok sir

So cos Nigeria was not askd to give a Speech at Mandela's Birthday, it there4 means that GEJ Admin 'cultivates, breeds, grows, etc corruption'?? Lawd have Mercy!! If I said everytin I felt cos of this unbelievably stu.pid logic in my mind right now , Seun himself wud ban me for 55years....#KIDS
if you are as smart as you think you should understand the world political dynamics ! As a staunch supporter of South Africa and the giant of Africa,Nigeria is the country that should make the first and best tribute about Mandela because we where there from the beginning n was part of the struggle. Enuf said am too hungry to write more. Obj should have been there and allowed to give a tribute on behalf of Nigerians

I think everything about Nigerian politics is cursed . Power was in the north for years, its still the poorest side of Nigeria .power moved to the nd,they haven't even dug a borehole with all the money allocated to them, I think power should go to the east then we know it has gone full cycle and only then it will dawn on us all how foolish we have been by putting ethnicity in what ever we do. Then we all go back to the draw board and marshal out a new Nigeria.

It depends. The first time I took weed, I had a very bad experience. It's usually called a bad trip. That was February this year. Before then, I've lived almost my entire life with Weeders. I take alcohol too so, for me. I thought alcohol was the best and final high. I know a lot of weeders who can't stand a bottle of small stout. I was also skeptical about trying to smoke weed for fear of asthma cancer etc. bear it in mind also that my brain has been hammered with all those parental scares that weed causes madness. So I was not interested in it at all.

However, on that fateful day, I was bored to death nothing to do. I turned on my PC to listen to some nice songs by Owl City. Then my weeder pal came in with stuff and started wrapping (or whatever you people call it) and asked me if I was interested which I declined. I told him I no fit amoke am.

There are many ways to kill a rat he said, that I should try eating just a pinch. Well, I obliged and what started as a pinch multiplied when he came in with a can of Heineken. I ATE TOO FUCKINGG MUCH!

(To be continued)
please please please finish the story abeg ,don't leave it hanging

SK, also known as Skunk is a very potent strand of marijuana. A hybrid of cannabis sativa and cannabis indica species.

One of the strongest types of weed out there. It's known to keep people high for over 10 hours. Doesn't have the signature weed smell!

This is the kind of weed that leaves you sitting there giggling for twenty minutes, your legs numb, your mind completely bricked, and your hands so twitchy you keep scratching your crotch or whatever you lay your hands on.
thank you for explaining ! is the high worth the risk ? i mean side effects ?

illicit: first of all, contrary to everyones beliv, weed isnt addictive and its way sfer than cigarretes
i take weed on a regular and i dont have any crazy experience but my first time of chewing raw SK, man this shit wasnt dried enough and i ate it at my friends place then i went home, had a shower.....
The following happened
after my bath i was at the sitting room woth my mum and sister watching a funny yoruba movie, suddenly i noticed that when we all laffed, im always d last to stop and am even laffing at not so funny details, my sister is been peeking at me although she suspect notin, then i realised i was too big for the couch am sitting in, am like 6 times my usual size, and am hearing some eerie noises, i knew what it was so i went into my room and looked in the mirror, eh? Have u ever seen ursef? I mean like u lookin at another person, that was what i saw, i saw mysef as anoda person in my room, thats what the mirror showed me...... My eyes were puffy, very red and almost closed, i knew i was in today, to avoid trouble and get medication i have to leave home, cos my folks must not know about it, so i beagan this journey back to my friends place, man it wasnt funny, on the way i kept walking like running, i keep hearing voices telling me to run faster, i noticed people were staring at me and some were stepping out of my way, i feel like the sky is coming down on me and a whirlwind wants to swallow me, a voice tells me to shoutout for help, but i quickly checked that, although it wasnt easy to, i got to my friends place at last, he was outside with my other friends and on seeing me they realised and figured out whats wrong..... I didnt tell them anything, they just took me in immediately, bought a lot of garri and kulikuli, and milk and sugar and very chilled water for me, laid me down turned d fan on, covered me with a big duvet, removed my belt and locked the room..... They come in intervals to check on me and they told me afterwards that i kept repaeating obscene words and kept calling for my mom, that they shd help me call my mom to pray for me that am gone crazy...... I actually tot that was it, i tot i had gone loco but thank goodness am back, and SK is my very good comrade now, i have learnt to master it...... Thanks
Please whats SK ?

chinziaski: Pls stop smoking weed. When you are high, you are only lucky if you come back to your normal state.

Weed excite your brain and make everything around you meaningless.

Weed is very addictive and very difficult to abstain from because it trigger a part of the brain dat makes you feel happy unnecessarily. If you are happy unnecessarily, that means you are insane!

Moreova, this local weed has a very bad effect on the lungs, leaving so many carbon in the lung that is very difficult expel through breathing. The more you smoke weed, the higher the deposit of carbon in ur system. This will later cause lungs failure or lung cancer.

Please stay away from artificial happiness and highness, its never good. You are high now, it might be the last time you will return to ur normal state because "a stone thrown up might never land on thesame spot which it was thrown."

Madness

rudedough: [b]Oo-oo Nka dikwa egwu.

Igbos are the wrong set of people to extend a helping hand to. It's either they betray you or they try to overthrow you in the long run. IGBOs don't give/do anything for free. The word "Thank you" doesn't exist in our dictionary.

Let's look at history and compare with other tribes using the same scenario.

The crisis between OPC and AREWA in 2003: I can recall vividly how Hausa Elders and leaders sent trailers, lots of them to pick up their people from Lagos especially women and children.

Meanwhile during the massacre of the IGBOs in the North in 1966, our fellow IGBO transporters suddenly inflated transport fare. Some transporters even went as far as to collect properties in exchange for transport fares. Many IGBOs who neither have money nor properties lost their life in that crisis.

However, prior to the Biafran war, when IGBOs were moving from the SW back to the SE. Transportation doubled, some had to stop at Benin and walk all the way to their villages only because they couldn't afford the full trip.

My grandfather unfortunately was a victim to this, despite that he had paid with his refrigerator. Can you imagine that the price of a refrigerator in 1967 couldn't transport a man and his family including children from Lagos - Owerri? What a shame.

Ojukwu on the other hand, I know IGBOs will be ready to capitalise on this one but I'll say it anyway.

My grandfather was working with the red cross prior to the war. During the war, he served as a medic. He was on the radio 24/7, they were very disappointed when the message came that Ojukwu had absconded and the mantle of power passed on to Effiong.

How can a military general abscond from a war he agitated millions of brave igbo soldiers to undertake?

It didn't end there, he didn't just run away. He took with him his family, all of his properties and even his Mercedes benz 230. He couldn't afford to leave a toothbrush behind while men sacrificed their lives and the lives of their starving children for a just cause.

Brave soldiers lost their properties, lives and sacrificed everything they had for a just cause. What did Ojukwu loose?

He came back from exile and didn't even bother fighting for the lost properties of the IGBOs but for "his own" monies and properties. Fortunately he got all of them back while his igbo brothers lost theirs. So much for an Igbo hero right?

Fast forward to 2013. Lagos State sent 3 letters to the Anambra State Liaison office, an intermediary of the Anambra State Government. Not a single Igbo leader bothered to visit the mental facilities to see their own people but when they were "deported" all hell broke loose.

Who's surprised about this news? Mtscheeew next! Very desperate set of people!!

Ndi igbo anyi weh nsogwu. Tu fia!!!

onegig: i hope you can say same for a company that owes staff 7 months salaries and keep them in the same position for years without rise in pay. Tell me are those ones lazy also?
i swear i can never do that, not because we are on the internet. i use to pay on the first day of the last week until i noticed they don't show up after being payed,so i pay on the last working day.if you come for try-out in my company,i pay your transport (plus normal feeding) until your training is over . am writing about myself and so many other good employers ! this owing issue happened my older sister way back, there oga even went to kogi to contest for governorship and lost. he took off without paying staff for months to go lick his wounds. the guy bounced back a year later, he called all his good staff and payed them with interest(this is not a story ,it really happened ). my sister got her money, she started her business with that money. not saying people should owe others, please pay your workers and let them go instead of keeping them without pay cos that is devilish.

OMO IBO: Until you own or manage a business you won't know how much a second of idle time Or improperly done work is worth.

Many of you are lazy, tactless and inconsiderate, rapscallions and bloody scroungers . A good number of you were sacked for obvious reasons. Needless to say, you'd still be caught napping in your next employment.

You guys think working for a known corporation is the be all an end all. Una never start.

Tosh!

1million likes. like i said earlier, no one wants to loose a good worker. search yourselves, try and stand out ! don't do because others will make fun of you for giving your best n become mediocre like them,do your job,you think no one notices but believe me, you are noticed and your hard work will be rewarded.some people don't know what it takes to provide a good working environment. for staff n still pay salaries on time even when the company is loosing money.you come into a well lit office,ac cooling 24\7,clean environment, free lunch and you still see some fools slacking off .since i opened my business never taken a break(accept general public holidays ) while my staff each get month holidays plus sick leave, weddings bla bla bla.even when am ill my brain is there making sure things are working fine for both customers n staff.

Lilimax: A lot of companies out there does not tolerate laziness...
Your work must justify your pay?

Any lazy staff will be shown the way out....

It is only a foolish company that will sack a hardworking staff?
So mark a niche for yourself by working hard; even if your coy want to downsize,
you'll be spared.

you are so right ! i run a business and hate changing workers although i gain more if i get new workers cos they will start from the bottom (less pay than people that have payed their dues). av got workers i don't care about and i got some i would move mountain to keep.i go for their weddings, family burial etc and i know most members of their family. the lazy ones that joke with my livelihood i joke with theirs.
