The fact remains the only set of people Jesus Christ expressed hatred / disgust towards were the hypocrites ie the pharisees.

I am very guilty of this behavior, I find most in-ear earphones can cut off external sound completely and if you're not paying attention or a little distracted as most of us are when walking you could wander into trouble or not know when trouble is wandering into you.
