European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Which Football Club Are You Crazy About? by didoflex(m): 10:00am On Mar 19, 2007
You should have given people the option of writing the name of their clubs, not giving them some names to choose from. Others does not answer anything!

My Teams:

England: Tottenham Hotspur
Spain: Barcelona
Italy: Internationale
Germany: Borussia Dortmund
Holland: Ajax
Nigeria: 3SC
Argentina: Boca Juniors

And on and on and on,

Hello Senderos! Chuckdee never said he was an Arsenal Fan o!! shocked

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Tottenham Hotspur Supporters Inc by didoflex(op): 3:48pm On Mar 16, 2007
OK Chukdee, truce!

Actually Nottingham Forest has won the European Cup Twice and Aston Villa Once, Arsenal has NEVER won it. Think again? Some of these so called 'small' teams have more silverware than the present star clubs. They were great then.

Essex? Do u live anywhere near South Ockendon?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: 90% Of Chelsea Fans In Nigeria Are Post Abrahamovich? by didoflex(m): 1:59pm On Mar 16, 2007
Am not happy about the lack of discuss about our local teams in Naija too, but can I ask you one question Christiano? Can you name the starting 11 of your team in Naija?

Money, organisation and also Media is important to promote stuff which satellite TV has done for Sport abroad. My local team is IICC Shooting Stars (now 3SC), but I havent gone to Lekan Salami or Liberty Stadium in years and they are in Division 1 now,

The local football scene is Moribund, You can't blame people for looking elsewhere. Nigeria JagaJaga!
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: 90% Of Chelsea Fans In Nigeria Are Post Abrahamovich? by didoflex(m): 1:42pm On Mar 16, 2007
OK Guys , ALL CALM DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To be extremely honest ( I dont support both Arsenal or Chelsea or Man Utd or Liverpool), Arsenals free flowing football is the best in the Premiership. They might not be getting anywhere at the moment but they are a delight to watch. Am not being biased (they actually are my clubs greatest 'enemies!).

If you really wanna watch beautiful artistic football in the Premiership, watch the following 3 teams play: Arsenal, Manchester United and my team Tottenham Hotspur. Thats the truth. No bias.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Tottenham Hotspur Supporters Inc by didoflex(op): 12:29pm On Mar 16, 2007
You're Welcome Razorr, maybe a bit sarcastic on ur part? Abi?

Anyway , PS. (Nice Picture u have, )
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Tottenham Hotspur Supporters Inc by didoflex(op): 12:17pm On Mar 16, 2007
Chuckdee every club would have a supporter somewhere,

I know some 'Egbons, (Older Bros) That still support Nottingham Forest, Aston Villa etc,

In the 70s and early 80s, Liverpool was the most suported club in Naija, 90s Manchester United and later on Arsenal and nowadays Arsenal and Chelsea,

Someone in Nigeria supporting Spurshuh? Come of it!! Don't speak like the 'Regular Fashionable Premiership Unaware Naija Fan', How do u know I wasnt born near Seven Sisters?

Anyway, its NOT about NAIJA, Its not a trendy thang, ITS JUST MY CLUB! PERIOD!
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Tottenham Hotspur Supporters Inc by didoflex(op): 11:33am On Mar 16, 2007

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: 90% Of Chelsea Fans In Nigeria Are Post Abrahamovich? by didoflex(m): 9:31am On Mar 16, 2007
Franknerd:
Nigerians always want to go where it is happening they do not like to start from the scratch nor work hard to achieve results. i am an Arsenal Fan for life whether good or bad
I agree there's always a day you start supporting a club. Chelsea actually have been a team I liked a long time ago, with Gus Poyet, Michael Duberry, Jody Morris (I particularly liked him, pity he's in the lower ranks now), Frank Lebeouf, Roberto Di Matteo etc etc etc, Like my friend above mentioned Nigerians just like following the trend, I guess its because there's really nothing entertaining out there in the country that watching the Premiership has boomed with almost unhealthy Vigour,

Also, the DSTV era has also enhanced this fever, I have no beef with rival supporters, I dont even support any of the fashionable teams in the Premiership, Ave always been a Spurs supporter since the days of Ricky Villa, Orso Ardilles, Terry Venables to Glen Hoddle, Steve Archibald, Garth Crooks, John Chidozie etc etc, I used to read Tiger and Speed, Tiger and Scorcher, Billys Boots, Roy of the Rovers, I guess I choose my team therein and a Nigerian (John Chidozie) was also playing for Spurs in the 80's too.

I always just wonder where all the support will go IF Chelsea became bankrupt and were relegatedhuh I wont Leave Spurs, in fact I still support IICC (now 3SC) in Ibadan and they are actually crap and in the lower ranks (again!) in the Naija Premier League,

Advice - Pick a team you kinda like (doesnt have to be the best), enjoy soccer (No beef with anyone) and be passionate abt your club, no matter what, Eg. Nottingham Forest have 2 European Cups , but where are they nowhuh
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: 90% Of Chelsea Fans In Nigeria Are Post Abrahamovich? by didoflex(m): 4:46pm On Mar 15, 2007
99% of them are actually fake, glory hunting fans, Tell me whether they know Dennis Wise or Ruud Gullit, or Vialli, etc etc
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Tottenham Hotspur Supporters Inc by didoflex(op): 9:02am On Mar 15, 2007
Spurs 3 Braga 2 (6-4 Aggregate scoeline)! We are in the last 8 of the UEFA Cup.

Thank Goodness Berbatov's OK, that means he's gonna play against Chelsea, I think they shld rest him for our game against Watford, Let Mido and defoe start, Leave Robbie and Dimitar for Chelsea!!!!!!!

I wonder where Arsenals season's athuh? shocked

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Tottenham Hotspur Supporters Inc by didoflex(op): 8:35am On Mar 13, 2007

How are u Vieira?? Havent you thought about changing ur name to Senderos or something close to that??

Anyway, I cannot blame u for the bad belle, Too Bad!

Am too tired for unhealthy banter today!
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Tottenham Hotspur Supporters Inc by didoflex(op): 8:44am On Mar 12, 2007
Brush Parke, nobi today some of us begin dey support teams, From way back! You go still meet so Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest etc fans, Dii rave for the moment na di Chelseas or Arsenal etc for Naija,

This Forum nobi for the rave, na unhindered support from way back from Orso Ardilles, Ricky Villa, Gary Lineker, Paul Gascoigne, Jurgen Klinsman to Naheem, I really dont know any Spurs fans in Lagos.

PS. I asked some 'Chelsea' guys who was their coach before Mourinho yesterday during the FA Cup match, they had NO idea, absolutely no idea!! Shameful, that na supporthuhhuh??

Anyway back to the talk, as usual we didnt finish the game up, Why did Martin Jol remove Bebartov and Hossam Ghaly? Anthony Garder caused the goal, he didnt mark Drogba well. Next time Mr. Jol, please dont put Mido on for Berbatov, he should have just played to kill the game, put an additional striker, Take the risk!!!, Now a replay! But all in all, both sides gave us a thrilling encounter!!

Good Football, !!!!!

Christianity EtcRe: Why Are Some Christians Poor? by didoflex(m): 10:02am On Mar 02, 2007
POVERTY HAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH RELIGION!!!!!!!!!

MY GODNESS!! THERE IS NO DIVINE RIGHT THAT TOTAL ADHERENCE TO ANY RELIGION WILL MAKE YOU RICH!!!

YOU SEE RICH CHRISTIANS, MUSLIMS, HINDUS, BUDDISTS, TRADITIONALISTS AND EVEN POOR ONES!

EVEN JESUS WAS NOT RICH!

PROBLEM IS, WE ASSOCIATE RELIGION WITH PROSPERITY. THATS THE MESSAGE WE GET FROM PASTORS IN NAIJA ALL THE TIME!

FAITH HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH WEALTH!! HAVENT YOU HEARD THAT MONEY IS THE ROOT OF ALL EVILS?

PLEASE THINK MORE ABOUT MAKING THE COMMON NAIJA MAN HAVE ELECTRICITY, WATER, EDUCATION AND THE BASIC AMENITIES OF LIFE , NOT SOME TALK ABOUT CHRISTIANS BEING POOR!

TELL THE SO CALLED EVANGELISTS AND PASTORS WITH PRIVATE JETS TO SHARE THEIR WEALTH, AS U KNOW JESUS BORROWED A DONKEY, HE WASNT CONCERNED ABOUT WEALTH!

Am happy he's in England at Last tho!
CrimeRe: Nigerian Hanged In Singapore by didoflex(m): 10:51am On Jan 29, 2007
Its disheartening when capital punishment is always used, however when a country makes a law you MUST abide by it.

Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Yemen, China etc have laws that state - getting caught trafficking in drugs means DEATH,

We have no laws in Nigeria, thats why our country is in shambles, look at the case of the actress 'Wumi', caught with over 1000 grams of cocaine and given a three year sentence or an option of N1million naira then she'll be free shocked shocked

How will it deter anyone else from carrying drugs?? Have u ever had a friend or family member that is a junkie?

Remember Lawal Ojulope, Batholomew Owoh and Bernard Ogedegbe?? The Idiagbon/Buhari administration executed them for drug trafficking, what happened after thathuh The drug trade did not end, but it reduced. Thats why laws are made, because MAN if not governed by certain rukes will be nothing more than an animal. Life would thus be 'Brutish and Short'. Society MUST control some certain aspects of MAN's behaviour for it to sustain itself.

Am not one for capital punishment all the time. But RULES are RULES. Nigeria is just a banana republic where laws are made to be broken by the privildged elite. PERIOD!

Oh, by the way, someone said if he was a US citizen he won't have been hanged, think again , Singapore recently executed an Australian for the same offence.

Nguyen Tuong Van, 25 was executed 4nd Dec 2005 for drug trafficking.
