Christianity EtcRe: Is It Compulsory To Go To Church On Sunday? by didoflex(m): 11:19am On Oct 14, 2011
The so called 'Sabbath Day" is observed by many other Religions apart from Christianity.

The Sabbath or a sabbath is generally a weekly day of rest and/or time of worship observed in Abrahamic religions and other practices.

From Judaism to Christianity, Buddhism to Islam etc.

I guess if you decide to follow any Religion to its last detail you must observe the so called "Sabbath" day.

However, the world has changed and Religion has become commercialized so I guess you can sit at home and pray instead rather than make some Pastor "Tithe" rich!

PoliticsRe: Hon Patrick Obahiagbon On Fuel Subsidy Removal by didoflex(m): 11:18am On Oct 12, 2011
He's a nutter, but has given an accurate synopsis of the malady which pervades the nation.

The removal of the pecuniary oil aid furnished by government will just increase the brigandage's intemperance for looting!

PhonesRe: Blackberry Messenger Off Air Worldwide? by didoflex(m): 1:11pm On Oct 11, 2011
Its pretty simple.

Blackberry Internet Services (BIS) when off in Europe, Middle East & Africa Yesterday

Blackberry Enterprise Services (BES) was not affected.

They run on different platforms.

I had no issues as I am on BES, but was affected as all my friends on BIS couldn't reach me and I they couldn't see any messages I sent.

Its technology, Cannot be 100% perfect or stable. Glad its back though!

See all of us o! Now our phones rule our lives!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HealthRe: Why Do Nigerian Girls Hardly Visit The Gym? by didoflex(m): 1:03pm On Oct 11, 2011
Hmmmmm, Why? huh

We are generally less concerned about our health in Naija, we have other worries especially how to survive,

Nigerian women generally tend to relax especially after marriage and after they've had kids. THEY PRESUME THEY HAVE ATTAINED THE APEX OF THEIR LIVES!

Not all of them but majority don't even try and look they way they were when single,

Apart from the women, men too don't have time to work out, but its more acceptable for a man to have a pot-belly as long as he has money in his pocket.

However we also have the Naija spec determining attractiveness for both sexes. Abroad an attractive woman is slim, even skinny with little or no 'yansh' or boobs while here a woman is attractive with a big butt, bosom and flesh in the right places.

A man abroad should be muscular with a six pack and athletic, while here it ranges from tall and slim, to big or huge or no pre-determined spec as long as there is CASH in his pocket!!! Women will generally run away from a Muscular man in Naija o for fear of beating!! lol!

Conclusion: Naija is tough in terms of creating the time to work out. I for one am guilty, from being an avid all round sports person, to a home-work-kids-TGIF-sleep-work-home-kids etc etc etc person. Its a vicious cycle.

We all should try hard to do find some way to burn and expend energy sha. (and I don't mean just in bed!)
CareerRe: Would You Leave Paid Employment To Start A Business? by didoflex(m): 4:22pm On Oct 05, 2011
Yes I would leave paid employment, however to be on the safe side, gradually, till that business picks up and is profitable enough for the paid employment to be a hindrance to you business.

Are you married? If you are and your husband is stable financially, discuss it,

Its easier when one spouse has a secure job with regular income and the other is 'hustling' in the business world. That helps! grin
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Tottenham Vs Arsenal (2 - 1) On 2nd October 2011 by didoflex(m): 3:57pm On Sep 30, 2011
Muki Mukina,

First of all, It's TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR not TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR(S)!! There is no S!

Arsenal fans already know the score and are wary of what's gonna happen,

I won't talk too much,

See you on Sunday!

Christianity EtcRe: Pastor And Pastor Mrs Billboard All Over. by didoflex(m): 12:20pm On Sep 15, 2011
To create a business brand you have to position yourself properly.

The Pastor & Pastor Mrs thing is to signify man and wife, stability, piousness in the eyes of God, one man one wife, family, man shall leave his father and take a wife etc, etc, etc. Soon they will add a couple of kids, take a bet on it, it will soon happen.

Its Just Branding For The Success Of A Business Period!

Christianity EtcRe: When Last Did You Pray For Nigeria? by didoflex(m): 10:57am On Aug 26, 2011
We are just too obsessed with the supernatural!

I wonder why with all the numerous churches and mosques on every street and corner, people are still suffering !!

God has given man the ability to think rationally! We haven't used this ability properly unlike others.

Ask the Europeans, the Chinese etc how they developed their countries, through prayer??

I DON'T THINK SO! angry
CelebritiesRe: Craig David New Look.u Like It. by didoflex(m): 10:03am On Jul 29, 2011
Nothing wrong with muscles or healthy exercise that will make you look like that,

He's probably or definitely attractive to the American audience, women in the States tend to like muscular men,

However the opposite is the case in Naija, women tend to like slim guys, not Arnold looking men,

Still , beauty is relative, some like Muscle others like pot bellies, some like Lepa, others prefer Orobo!!

Do you think a man that speaks like that and wears such pants should be taken seriously?

He's probably just trying to seek attention (he has succeeded, go show!) or he dropped on his head as a baby,
RomanceRe: Mystery: Great Men Fall-Outs. Is It So Hard To Run? by didoflex(m): 4:12pm On Jun 23, 2011
WHY IS IT SO HARD TO RUN?? huh

SIMPLE: Testosterone, women have less of it, we have lots of it, women don't understand why men act like they do, we men (after the deed) don't understand why we did it in the first place!

Men and women are different Biologically, emotionally, sexually etc,

That's why you'll see a a very successful man with a gorgeous equally successful wife, getting into trouble by impregnating his semi-illiterate house-help or some young lass hawking pepper,

It takes a lot of self control and grace of God, the average man is built in one way while the average women is built in another way,

PS: Men?, doesn't it always amaze you that anywhere (like an office or household) where there are too many women,, bickering, fighting etc always reigns while the men tend to get along and solve problems easier? huh, We men don't understand it too, but its understandable when you realize : 'It's really just in their nature",

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Tottenham Hotspur Supporters Inc 2.0 by didoflex(m): 11:16am On Jun 16, 2011
shocked

Spurs on the decline? Maybe you're watching Agege Premier League or the Bangladeshi Football Tournament!

4th, now 5th and that's a decline when we used to come 10th, 12th, 15th and even been bottom sometimes etc before and no Europe for years.

This is the dictionary meaning of decline: a downward slope; declivity

a failing or gradual loss, as in strength, character, power, or value; deterioration

Tell me the meaning of decline, See below:

Read well my bro, rumour is that the price tag for him will be in that range which is ridiculous,

Ridiculous for anyone, any footballer,

Even for a certain Fabregas that is being coveted at the moment,

The transfer market is now silly, can't wait till 2012 when the new rules come into place,
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Tottenham Hotspur Supporters Inc 2.0 by didoflex(m): 9:32am On Jun 08, 2011
Gareth Bale is good but over hyped which is true, I would definitely sell him for 50 million, No player except Messi/Ronaldo is worth such a ridiculous amount!
