As for Pseudo-Mallam Amaechi, he dare not offend his Northern masters by doing anything close.
Buhari won't like anyone reminding us of Abacha's brutality.
Abacha never stole: GMB. I can't add further other than that Buhari was a close confidant of Abacha when Ken Saro Wiwa was hanged by Abacha regime. Wike has just dared Buhari whose influence is sagging day aftef day because of his punitive presidency. |

US delegates need to ask President Buhari why he is trans faring Boko Haram detainees from the areas they operate, to a low security prison in a densely populated Ekwulobia.
After all, US president cannot contemplate transfer of Guantanamo detainees to a low grade US prison in a densely populated US town. |

lastpage: Nigeria is in a big mess with the level of stewpidity of our Youths.... and even some not so young people! Anger and Hatred has overtaken their sense of reasoning.!!
*38days... and you want a new President to have overcome an insurgency that has lasted over six years? Are you all drunk of cow urine?
*Military option has not worked in the last six years (just like it did not work for Niger delta militants and amnesty was proffered), yet when he suggested a "Plan B" of discussing peace with the bandits, you all started to criticize him?
*He replaced military check-points with Police so that he can free the military to fight the war and you'all started saying he allowed Boko access and freedom! Are u all that daft?
*He moved some of the less dangerous prisoners to Anambra but out of tribal sentiments, you all could not see that concentrating those prisoners in one place means it is easier for BH to mount "one operation" to free them and they have more operatives to carry out suicide bombing? Dont you people have a brain to use at all?
*Once somebody like FFK whom we all know is a senseless Dog says something that is against Buhari, you all applaud him, just to prove that a senseless, "enemy of your enemy" like FFK.... is your friend! Is that all you can do?
* You all pretend like you dont know that our Security forces have a tendency to arrest "anyone in sight" even when it is obvious that the real criminals are long gone. So, you dont expect those whose innocent kids are arrested in place of B-haram terrorists to speak up and demand their release? Agreed there are "fanatics" amongst Muslims, especially in the north but that does not make all of them fanatics or B-haram sponsors. Or are you telling me everyone in the NDelta is a militant or every Ibo person a Kidnapper and Drug pusher?
*You think making this war on Boko haram a case of "Jonathan/PDP Supporters" versus "Buhari/APC Supporters" will get you anywhere? Just wait until the bombing reaches your backyard before you know that we all need to put our heads together and offer useful suggestions to the President, to tackle the problem.
*None of you brainless Eediots are even sensible enough to ask yourself "How did this Boko problem start"...so you can map out a way forward. All you are concerned about is how to bring down a democratically elected Govt simply because the President is not from your tribe. Silly Bigots!
FFK may have scored some cheap points among people whom he knows have little capacity for reasoning but he is doing it for selfish reasons otherwise, if he is patriot, he would offer SOLUTIONS for solving the problem rather than just this "playing to the gallery" so that he can become relevant...... though just among Ibos anyway.
And let me add: Ministers are just "Political Appointees" whose job is just to convey the instructions of the President, to the Head of Ministries they oversee. The people who do the real work in a Ministry are the Permanent Secretaries. They are "permanent' as their name suggests and are career civil servants. Ministers cost us a lot of money with little benefit.
If Buhari thinks for now, going by the amount of rot in the system, that it is better to allow the career civil servants to oversee the rot and recover their Ministries, why not let us allow him to try-out this method for sometime, instead of wailing and mocking like pigs? It is Ministers that really loot the Ministries as we all know because they just "come and go" being Political appointees,.... unlike career civil servants who have their "career and pension" to worry about
Buhari as l see it, is trying out something new, these needs time to show result. There is always "the Storm" before "the calm", which is what we are experiencing now but all these little kids with free MTN Data should shut their mouth and let us hear word.
'Governance' is not for babies and imbeciles! Let us leave it for an experienced General, a former Head of State who is also a graduate of the Prestigious American War College.

izzieman: This plant was producing hundreds of thousands of Volkswagen cars when Buhari was overthrown by Babangida. As at that time, they were being coerced by the Nigerian Government to increase local content and were already past 25 percent local content I believe.
While one must commend the local assembly of cars as Jonathan tried to encourage, we must understand that assembly without local content would just leave us as perpetual consumers. This is what other nations that sell to us want - a ready market for their goods. We have to make sure we tell all these Assembly plants that there must be Technology Transfer and it does not hurt to teach our people the concept of learning skills in these plants with a view to building their own concepts in the future. To some degree you are right. You learn and develop your own technology as it suits you. No body can transfer his own technology to you and watch you compete with him. Let PMB understand this. Anyhow, technology is transient, as you learn the technology developed yesterday, the developer leaves you and develops new one which renders the one you are learning obsolete. |

Since the amalgamation of 1914, Nigeria has remained a killing field with millions dead - till today.
People in the south of Nigeria can never touch sharia criminal justice system - even with a long pole.
Today's Boko Haram violence has both religious and political roots - taking over control of proceeds from natural resources and exporting Sharia criminal laws to all of Nigeria.
Only means to end Boko Haram violence is to split Nigeria into manageable countries.
The 12 sharia states in the north had since drawn the map of their own country.
That's the more reasons why Biafra must be supported.

Officer know the truth:
Boko Haram persists in Nigeria because it has millions of people in the north of Nigeria who share with it the same aspirations for a Nigeria (or a new country) governed with sharia criminal justice system.
Nigeria's constitution recognize use of sharia civil laws, but not use of sharia criminal laws which Boko Haram says it is fighting for and which 12 northern states adopted since 1999.
Issue is that southern politicians seem tied with a rope on the neck for one Nigeria, and are being dragged along by those northern leaders who adopted sharia criminal laws.

Even the usually mischevious foreign media were reporting the possible end of BH. Buhari came in and suddenly there is a serious spike in attacks, No single counter attack by Nigerian forces, no obvious consolidation of the victories gotten at the end of jonathan's administation. It is as if bokoharam is just appearing on the scene for the very first time with everybody completely clueless of their modus operandi. Your buhari need a serious mental upgrade and it looks like you do too. You said no single counter attack by Nigeria's armed forces since Buhari became President.? My suspicion: Buhari must have divided that armed forces in this his administration given how he warned the officers during the administration of Jonathan that their attack on Boko Haram was like attack on the north of Nigeria. Remember that those soldiers are humans, are in the modern world - and not zombies. |

Suicide bombing is a tool used by terrorists to instill fear. Boko Haram has already been deciminated, they are using teens who unknowingly as suicide bombers. What we need to do is to identify the various cells operating in our cities. I fear for the people of Kano, as previous trend shows that, their next target will be the ancient city of Kano, probably to disturb the Sallah celebration. But PMB is expanding the conflict zones for Boko Haram fight by relocation of Boko Haram prisoners from areas where they operate to areas where they do not operate. |
