People should stop trying to paint one or the other as the bad sheep Kanye was part of Roc'A' Fella, So was Jay Z, and many others...just because you leave dont mean you will die this same way people paint Beyonce as the black sheep, groups always have one or two shining stars, one will eventually overshadow the rest (and will obviously be criticised through no fault or his/her own) people come together people grow alone> way of life, fi le be ko ma lo be jo it's a big market out there |
some years ago i must have asked my uncle, how much it was to visit and how long the vetting period was thinking people were actually allowed in abi as a student na so so laugh e laugh me |
and if she had any sense, she would have waited to let the dust settle beforeI agree with this part, |
Next is my confession to considerable shock that President Goodluck Jonathan did not even think it fit to consult or inform the administrators of the university, including Council and Senate, of his intention to re-name their university for any reason, however laudable. This arbitrariness, this act of disrespect, was a barely tolerated aberration of military governance. It is totally deplorable in what is supposed to be a civilian order.this is the pat I cant understand, i mean ![]() |
Labour market is fierce and unforgiven than Marriage market, theres no more going to daddy for inflated school fees and project fees, no more feeding money next alternative for most naija girls would be boyfriend>fiance> husband Nigerian society is not woman friendly at all theres no just escape root, you hardly see women renting a house to live on their own and discover themselves na straight from daddys house to hubbys house |

It might sound silly but i get very confused with the blackberry names and what they are actually manufactured as (model numbers) My cousins want me to help him get a Bold 2/3, unfortunately i'm not used to these Bold 2, Curve 2/3/4, So i told him to get the actual number then i can check the price for him, same way my aunt wants to get a Bold 5 for her Birthday, when I ask what her the model number she said that what they are called, I am not very familiar with the numbering systems, I looked through blackberry website and carphone Most of them look alike same with the curves , i think the only one i know quite well is the torch it has no numbers ![]() So who can decipher which is which Bold 9900 = ? Bold 9790 = ? Bold 9780 = ? |

yes tax inclusive, people earning over certian amount a year in UK for example pay upto 50 percent tax (but then again some of those people are wealthy enough to employ a tax consultant who can reduce their income tax bills to as little as 10%) They also pay for insurance, private services, Agency fees, mortgage/rents, bettings but still enough to secure them for life especially the african players if they invest wisely |
A friend of mine was offered a place in a very big company, the position is intern like for some months after which if he performed well it will be made a permanent position, the reverse is also true. His dilemma now is should he leave his current permanent job with the FG for the big coy job? He sought my advice and I told him think deeply first. What do u think.
You might what to start a new topic for this one is he capable of meeting the job specification and surpassing them with the time frame of his probabtion period? |
you rarely get threads like these during Yara-Dull and OBJ's time abegi just pray for the bombers to have a change of heart as we now know terrorism is not limited to nigeria, it is our turn |
you will just have to retire this name, or contact the site admin to help you, i.e if you dont have 1000s of post contact the admin first if he is less busy or just retire the name- start a new one with a tag under your profile 'formerly mr xyz' |
In addition to what @op has said, the followings are also true. 1. Don't answer questions with just YES and NO. 2. Always have a question to ask, it shows you are interested in the company. 3. Don't sit down until you are told to do so. 4. When you enter the interview room, close the door (if applicable) without taking your eyes of or backingthe interviewers. It shows you are security conscious. 5. Don't be soft spoken. Speak up confidently too. 6. Shake hands firmly if the interviewer offers his/her hand. 7. Remember you are the applicant, don't go interviewing the interviewer. 8. Sit upright and confidently. 9. Make eye contact with the interviewer. 10. don't act as if you are so desperate for the job. 11. Don't discuss your personal and family issues. If for any reason you are offered a meal. Do remember your table manners and proper use of cutleries. If you are invited for an interview and nobody seems to attend to you. Don't fidget and complain. Someone may be watching. (Some guyz were invited for an interview and were not attended to. They were there till late in the evening. Some people left, while the very few who stayed back where given appointment letters without further interiew- in fact, that was their interview. Happened in one of the big telecommunication firms.
4. hmmm yea right!! are you interviewing for maig guard or database analyst? ![]() 11. 80% of CVs i've seen on this site have tribe, religion, marital status, number of kids, age, LGA ![]() big telco firm, you just turn up at a company and nobody will even acknowledge your presence? hmm |
I have heard of B.Ed Accountancy/Management, maybe you can browse the website of the school you are interested in I have a feeling you will be studying mostly the same modules as those doing the BA/Bsc Accounting theres still something i dont get, a candidate with HND plus ACA/ICAN/ACCA surely should be at par with BA/BSc candidate |
moderattor: I have risked my life to wear tie only once!Try that in Chief Dr Engr Kolawole Ikechukwu's company ![]() |

PetroDolla: Heheheheheheheh.... i dey laugh for Swahili...Chei chei chei TKO SMH where can i hide? |
well we know what happens to one man business in the face of competition, when you have just one person tweaking the codes and running the business aspect at the same time waving off suggestions for improvements these guys are not smiling, only 'yesterday' i was among those watching iroko on youtube, dis year they got $8m backing = exposure is a good thing sha But then again i guess he can stick his tongue out and say wetin u don do sef Bontee: I believe he started before them and nothing stops him from doing the right thing because these people just only need to encroach into this social sector and nairaland will be relegated. Facebook overtook myspace when they thought they were the shit, Apple came to change the rules of the game in mobiles, and google came to wipe msn and yahoo from the search business. Other Nigerian newspapers have to open up their sites to comments when they saw the followership of saharareporters, 234next and vanguard newspapers. |
Bontee: Please there is no connection between PDP and the factors stalling the passage of the bill so leave them out of this sir.how can you say theres no connection between the pdp and the passing of the bill..what is stalling the bill then? I'm just wondering where the bill is anyway; one would expect a bill backed by the PDP executive will get a backing from a PDP dominant house abi I mean conventional wisdom will mean Obama should have a problem passing a bill when the Democrats are the dominant party in the house the obstacles come from the opposition, any in house opposition can be dealt with over time |
they don't want visitors or something? First time i'm hearing of it!!! I'd have love to visit this place when in Lagos, Looks promising |
Sisi Kill You don crase finish o Anatummy ![]() |
he is trying considering its 'one man business' the others you compoare him with have partners or backers hence the pressure to grow and make a return |
wey this bill sef? in a PDP dominant assembly you'd think these sort of bills get considerable amount of debate till its passed dis dodo guy wey dey rock just dey chop bread and abakaliki rice |
ayo111uk: They do accept debit/credit from Nigerian as l paid with one in March 2012. All l was told was that l have to show the card at the Airport.Same here, bought tickets early for February for a journey in march '12. they didn't even request to see my card though their service is shyte, lagos airport hot, their plane sef na oven, will be sticking to KaLeM |
blacklion: If you are now based in Nigeria full-time or plan to return to Nigeria permanently and you have a wife and kids, having a residential building can be a form of 'insurance' in case of the worst. Nigeria is a very insecure country. At least, your children will have a place to lay their heads without any landlord wahala while your widow struggles to put food on the table, pay school fees etc.ehn? |
LeoMax: THERE IS NO NEED TO MAKE ONESELF UNHAPPY, I BELIEVE THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO DO IN NIGERIA IS MAKE A LOT OF MONEY, IF YOU NEED FAST INTERNET FOR WHAT EVER REASON AND USE, GET A C-BAND VSAT INSTALLED, ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION IS LIKE $1200 A YEAR. IN THIS COUNTRY, IF YOU WANNA STAY COMPLAINING, YOU WILL BE VERY UNHAPPY. GOOD THING IS WE DONT PAY AS MUCH TAX AS THE AMERICANS PAY TO THE IRS, SO ONE CAN USE THE FUNDS TO LIVE A GREAT LIFE. IT DOESNT MATTER HOW, JUST MAKE A LOT OF MONEY.Long live Nigeria !!! |
JW214: I see Nigerians enjoying good unlimited internet when these following conditions are met:this damn line is played out jor!! When Nigerians are ready to pay for xyz they will get it we pay more for phone lines, the quality is still poor We are/will be paying more for electricity i doubt the quality will be any better we pay through the nose for air transport, na so so flight cancellation and molue service We are paying for 'high speed' internet the crazy thing will hang |
