old chappy? more like traditional engineering school Newcastle Brunel etc

been looking for a postgraduate course and i was considering Aston, its got good rep and good all round facilities in many departments including Business and Engineering but I discovered Exeter also offered the same course and guess what- never heard/knew Exeter had a university on till i met this girl a month ago studying politics and international something there! funny enough it's above Aston in the league undecided
Politics › Re: Fg Moves To Cut N’assembly Vote – Thisday by DisGuy: 10:40pm On Nov 30, 2010
Aganga and Sanusi didnt plan this well

Sanusi should have said this like 2-3 months ago then the backlash will follow with plenty of 'experts' and impeccable source supporting him, Aganga will now repeat it (perhaps on an international stage) then announce a 'move to cut NA vote' afterwards

That way they'll get more public support

all these have been done within three days and the National Assembly are already summoning them like school kids

Foreign students are already paying the real cost of their education, I doubt they'll be that much increase, Labour have a way of making money all those 1p increase, delaying certain policies and they will definitely have to do something about illegal immigration just to appease the voters

Labour is only best in a booming economy

You actually think they'll do things that much different?

Co-incidentally.  .   .

The Deji of Akure, Oba Adebiyi Adesida, on Monday, appealed to the Federal Government to increase the age of used cars being imported into the country to 15 years from the current mandatory 10 years.

The monarch made the appeal while playing host to the Controller of Customs in charge of the Ondo/ Ekiti states Command of the Nigerian Customs Service, Alhaji Umar Yussuf, who paid him a courtesy visit in his palace.

The monarch said vehicles below 10 years had being found to be too expensive for middle class Nigerians to afford.

LAGOS — THE Federal Government has reviewed the bar on used vehicles otherwise known as Tokunbo by increasing the age limit from 10 years to 15 years.

Similarly, textile materials fabric, embroidered garments and other printed materials that were banned before now have also been removed from the prohibition list

A circular from the office of the Minister of Finance stated that President Goodluck Jonathan approved the removal of furniture from the prohibition list but with a 20 per cent import duty and 20 per cent levy.

The circular with reference number BD.12237/S.403/VOL.1/206 and dated November 19, 2010 has also been sent to the relevant agencies which include the Nigeria Customs Service and the three destination inspection services providers— Cotecna, SGS and Globalscan.

The circular entitled: “Revision of schedule three-import prohibition list (trade) of the 2008-2012 Common External Tariff (CET)” and signed by the Minister of Finance, Mr Olusegun Aganga, is to take effect this month.

Part of the Circular reads: “This is to confirm that Mr President has granted approval for the under listed products to be removed from the import prohibition list.

“Furthermore, Mr President has approved an import duty rate of 10% plus 10% levy on health and energy drinks which has been excluded from the import prohibition and extension of the age of used motor vehicles to be imported into the country from the 10 years to 15 years from the year of manufacture”

Cant people be more sensible in their posts ? Too many children here.

Pray tell, where have you seen a party presenting a north-north, or south-south  pair? Every party ,even those against zoning know that this is an election winning strategy. It is not zoning . get you facts right.
oh so its purely a selfish reason; to win an election.  .   .  .
Politics › Re: Sambo As VP: Jonathan Loves The SE Or Pitching The North Against Each Other? by DisGuy: 1:10pm On Nov 29, 2010
hmm most supporters of GEJ don't like zoning so why did he really chose Sambo? Why not chose based on performance why couldn't he choose a southerner - after all merit is better than zoning

Its really embarrassing when the citizens of a country start pitying their president- it's only an interview

you notice how no-one said anything about the Obasanjo interview and the others on Hardtalk- no one see that as rude or condescending, why? because he held his own!!!

this maga is being bullied by a woman and that's rude tongue

Of course I could have unilaterally set a National Minimum wage and sent the bill to the National Assembly or increase the wages of the Federal workers from the current 17,100 Naira by adding 900 Naira to make it 18,000 Naira.
