proo212:
@Mr Dis Guy,

Good ideas but how do you police zero tolerance? How do you enforce that someone whose licence has been taken away cannot get behind the wheel? Can you issue a warrant for an arrest for someone who cannot be traced? He has no bonafide address we just know he lives in "Ketu" area

If every address is in a database we can start from there apart from that I don't see it happening
most adults in nigeria are getting their 'e-passport' so their details will be stored on a database
i think the govt can collate data from School I.D, banks cards, National I.D cards and so on
we can make our own big brother Nigeria grin
a heavy handed approach will be to withdraw funds directly from drivers account or suspend
their debit card until they pay their fine or show up in court grin

if you choose what you love to do in Nigeria, I'm sorry for you grin you might end up not paying your bills- general advice sha

most people are attracted to the oil companies for the money; the love for the industry comes later, if it ever comes that is
KPMG,accenture and co are already big companies

it's better to start small, but if you have the opportunity to start big all the same wink

There are untapped resources here in nigeria believe me, Give me two or three years you would add my company to the top of that list. Software is a big thing its use is so diverse that there is no limit to its use.

Expert Edge is a good company but i think they mainly resell , Take Finacle used by most banks including UBA (STB), First Bank. It was indian produced and is being resold here.

As a just graduated student I made income in school programming for people. Programming skills is important but there are some other thing we as programmers need to learn (The only secret I would share here) . . . . we should spend a 6months to 1year learning it.

Seun, your site is fine. I have never had so much fun from a site in one day. Which advise did that number 2 man in the list share with you ?
how far?
one more year wink

I sent my uba forms to their new york branch today
I reckon it will be faster since they have less holidays than those in nigeria- Sallah two days, Xmas 2-3days and New Year 2-3days
but they might just send it to their main branch in Nigeria undecided
what do you think?

What is the point of 3G anyway, when basic service is still lacking. The operators have to crawl before the can walk. They vast majority of Nigerians just want to be able to make and complete calls effortlessly.

Nigeria: GSM - Huge Market, Poor Service

Bo$$man, profit, profit profit those guys are making a killing!! they know Nigerians like foreign and new things
some will pay through the nose to get these stuff even if they don't need it
mtn has been barred from selling sim cards probably due to bad services
but they know its just shakara, they'll even roll out new services

i sure when it starts fully, hmmmmmmm CREDITS GO ROOOLLLL
angry angry angry angry angry

Sports › Re: Super Eagles Squad At Ghana 2008: What To Expect? by DisGuy: 4:34am On Dec 20, 2007
Why exactly do they want to play Sudan, no disrespect
but that a bit cheap, can't they afford a proper team to play against?
they might as well play against a local team in malaga before going for the games.
Investment › Re: Changing My Stock Broker? by DisGuy: 3:42am On Dec 20, 2007
sounds very very easy and straight forward on paper grin but I am still waiting for anyone that has done so
most people just get another broker and stop funding the other account
I think there should be a way to report brokers about this!

Tats:
There is no need to announce that they are slashing the visa period by half. They should simply do it and not broadcast it. Afterall, United States and Schengen embassies give people visas for a few weeks!

I don't think £1000 pounds will stop anyone desperate to travel from doing so.
hmm huh you posted this early in the morning so wink

Isn't six month a bit long, month people have work and business to get back to anyway

when you people want to insult nigeria do it in an intelligent fashion the ANC elections is a disgrace to africa zuma is ten times worse thn all nigeria's former learders put together about the results affecting th world markets that is a big lie
so the next time you feel like posting a reply make sure you have correct info
just so you know if zuma becomes the president of SA this will put the country's politics fifty years backwards even mandela is worried
isn't this democracy in action? isn't the election free and fair? undecided
Apparently under Mbeki only the elite and higher middle class enjoyed the 'reforms'
2009 is still a year away and the courts are still there
