The private sector/World bank will definitely take it on as long as it's feasible The state government will reap the rewards forever with tolls and taxes -that's the oil city!! cant believe anyone will wait for an irresponsible FG - that in itself is irresponsible! |

deenee: @ Ajanlekoko, VERY FUNNY! @ Nitrogen, the excuses are real but there is more corruption in the so called abroad than we have in Nigeria.
The LIBOR saga, money laundering issue with HSBC and other stuff is a good testimony to this. The light issue will soon be a thing of the past and would have been long before now ( as far back as 2001-2002) if Nigerians had supported the initial privatization exercise. If you are following the exercise closely you will see that a group of people at the helm of affairs at NEPA are just delaying the whole exercise for their selfish reasons. How do you explain over 30 billion missing from a closed pension scheme managed by the union guys?
Finally going abroad to study is just 'a means to an end and not an end in its self' nitrogen, why you waking up this thread now, see what I just found! 2012!! Oga Aj, Nitrogen..would you say the career section of this NL is following economics of nigeria..during the boom especially stock market boom this section was banging then... |

rodeo0070: About working for the Whites, no one is against you or any Nigeria or Africans from coming up with a solution like this. I believe it can be done. And what do you mean by whites please, if I may ask? Or do you mean Foreigners? You will be surprised that those you call "Whites" are your fellow Igbo, Yoruba or Hausa brothers/sisters. They may be part of those that developed the platform. We've seen what people can do irrespective of their race. the irony is if raypawer. ikechukwu or an ibrahim creates an app like this: he's going to upload it onto google play or apple store to get maximum income, he's likely to want the price tag in $$$ too and not the local app store who'll probably hijack his product or fail to remit sales to him |

watchworldpro: I presently use a Toyota Matrix 2005 with a mileage of precisely 297,000km. Good Maintenance history. High grade synthetic oil used for the engine every four months. Gear Servicing done once a year. So also differential servicing. Fuel level has 'never' gone below half. Tyre pressure recommendation as stated on the door side is always adhered to and checked every week. Interior is very clean. Car is washed everyday with liquid Carwash (ABRO)......etc..................and I don't use any 'kazeem' for repairs.....I stay very close to my office (10mins Drive). But I do a lot of highway on weekends. I am not a car guru but just believe in prompt maintenance.
Anyone in the house with a high mileage car? Pls share your experience. Proceed with this format:
- Car Make, Model and Year - Mileage - Usage type ( City or Highway ) - All other experience and maintenance history -Any advice for high mileage car usage |

The govt will continue to fund and manage our railway for the foreseeable future as rail system is very capital intensive. the current set up is not viable for any businessman to invest in considering the stocks are old and dilapidated and routes are limited.
private management will probably help until the standard gauge (fast rail) are ready with more routes and more coaches
if any private company takes over now they will just be milking the govt whilst not investing their own money a bit like whats happening in the electricity sector- tariff increased x5. no smart meter. no light. |
