this is grossly inaccurate imo it has been reported by mainstream news outlet and even a nairaland member who was on board-- only 2 casualties. |
Just knowing you have a child is enough for some naija lecturers to fail you; that's if they are not trying to 'knack' you another issue |

been looking for this thread Many thanks guys for your help got my new passport on 11th April travelled on 12th. pretty close Notice on the day of collection some people were not given, even though they've paid- something about Abuja not giving them permission or with-holding their passport. Apparently some issues to do with their previous application or their fingerprint/face not matching ![]() |
justwise:same here- mine was this year March, your appointment date is on the acknowledgement form already under processing information Also booked an appointment for my mum last week. You dont need to book a separate appointment on their website- the website is pretty static for information use only |

Also agree to rule out UK, working permit rules are now so stringent and ever-changing that even companies willing to offer employment can't keep up. I think Australia will be a good idea |
Nice, thanks for sharing There are several slave museums there, went to one Brazilian baracoon/ William Abass House-pretty basic and got one of those fisherman boats with some school children on excursion. That long trek to the ocean front was hectic on the hot sand; luckily on the way back we saw a bike man just dropping off an officer Will probably get to Badagry beach on my next visit, just checked the hotel now, looks quite impressive especially as its new before 'maintenance' issue sets in |
While there are people who try to get around the system for their own benefit, this is not the norm.I don't see any reason to Blame the babies for being born anywhere.-seems immigration officials all over the world come across as daft with the sort of questions they ask ![]() Back to this small group, would that be Nigerians by any chance seeing as most births are strategically planned to achieve one aim; I don't hear of any one going all the way to Yankee due to medical complications -plus there are international hospitals in the capital, Accra and south Africa that's closer and cheaper too |
What do you know about what we're facing in this useless hell hole of a country? When there was the so-called corruption[you honestly don't believe there was massive corruption? ], the economy was moving and people could afford one thing or the other[could that be because oil price was almost double our budget benchmark? ] There was fuel[ at what cost.everyone had a licence to bring in oil as long as there are connected, companies were taking with the subsidy arrangements ] , some little power to manage[ not sure it was all that different from current situation, erratic], not much taxation, not much of extra judicial killings by men in uniform [not much??] Pretty difficult to know if one is having an open conversation about issues(esp on the economy ) on here without some ethnopolitical undertone - you have to constantly be assessing if the person is against or for a policy due to the tribe/religion or party of the man in charge |
Chukzyfcb:Not very obvious bro, That they started collecting it doesn't mean they have increased it now...the electricity tariff is something else though |
