EducationRe: Lecturers At Kogi Polytechnic Charge For 'handouts' by DisGuy: 3:12pm On Oct 10, 2013
toptop: And how much is his so-called salary? These students complaining will not buy text books, yet they detest handout. Ask them how many text books they have and read. These handouts will make life easy for our lazy students.
Why is he selling it then if he wants to make life easier? why cant the lecturer make sure his Oga at the top has a fully stocked up library at the Institution instead of chasing money- if the lecturer wants money to feed his family he can apply for well paying jobs elsewhere

BusinessRe: Daylight Robbery At Conoil!!! by DisGuy: 3:21pm On Oct 09, 2013
ogb5: This guy must be a learner, I normally keep a 25 litre Texaco Oil can in my booth. It has expanded and now takes 29litre to fill.

If I go to a new filling station, I fill that can first before putiing any of their fuel in my car.

There was once I went to I went to a filling station along Eleme road in PH. It took 47 litres to fill the 25 litre can. No worries, I simply told the attendant to call his manager. I gave them two options, collect money for 29 litres that normally fills the can or I call DPR and continue making a scene until DPR arrives.

They took the 1st option, I paid for 29 litres and left with the fuel. Being robbed at the filling station in Nigeria is something that will certainly happen to you someday, no matter what.

Their robbing schemes are so many, it is difficult to beat them all. Most Total Filling stations in PH and Warri go on special training on how to fleece their customers, you can't beat them, so I avoid total.
YeeeZuz!!!!

naptu2: The Milan Group (owners of Intercontinental Hotel, Lagos) import this item into Nigeria (it completely dominates the market)
you mean after several decades they are still importing it? thats bad business - they couldn't localize the production?
BusinessRe: Daylight Robbery At Conoil!!! by DisGuy: 12:54pm On Oct 09, 2013
So all those petrol stations shutdown or fined by the ministries in the past were innocent because according to some kegs can expand by as much as 50%

Nigerians getting shafted since 1960 with technical excuse grin

and still reading without the fuel anywhere nearing the top of the keg!
I applied in ikeja but I am not sure where it is being processed..I tot it would also be processed here, too.My course has started and the latest registration date is d 18 th of this month.
It might be processed in Lagos, i understand some [from lekki] are being sent to UK to be processed, you still have some time i guess, thats why its always advisable to apply on time- not just the minimum processing time
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 2 by DisGuy(mod): 12:29pm On Oct 09, 2013
if your application is being processed in the UK it is usually longer than those processed in Nigeria

honeric01: I'm tired of this hatred for anything north from my southern brothers. Do they even know that more than 40% of the current Kano pillars players are from the south?

Do they know that the current coach of Enyimba was once a pillars's assistant coach?

Kano pillars won in the first game, they won again in the replay game on a neutral ground, yet people are getting all sentimental and unreasonable.

Sucks!
they accuse others of having born to rule syndrome...

In Sports southerners have the Born to Win syndrome cheesy
