Tdotbluejays:I like how you ignored the obvious that Critical Race Theory is a postulation of blacks and focuses issues which supposedly affect blacks. Dragging the issues of other races into it is deliberately muddying the waters. The issue is CRT and what is embodies and the validity in the present age. Beating around the bush or roping other issues into it is playing to the gallery. Obrigardo should done listing the points first. I like the topic. |
EnlightenedUFO:See, we could all post 1000 words we copied from different sites to support our positions. The point is to debate the issues. When you are done listing the talking points of CRT anyone can google, then we can debate each of the points you have pasted. I'm sure it'd make for an interesting debate - slavery, property ownership and the likes, and the validity of those claims in the 21 Century. We'd debate when you are done listing the talking points. |
Trevor012:The lure of pummeling you and sending you to a mental hades is tempting. Really tempting. It would make for great sport impaling your psyche with the most scathing and vitriolic rebuttals while watching your emotions flow like a lacerated wound. Really tempting but with a predictable end - you running with your tails tucked between your legs. Then again, I find this debate on theism and related issues more mentally stimulating and insightful. Some other time, on another thread even, but you'd rue the mistake of you, a mental midget, thinking you could square up to me in a battle of words. I'd enjoy the debate for now. ![]() |
EnlightenedUFO:Maybe on any other issue. Maybe. But one CRT especially, Ben raised points about it but you avoided it. You debated him on other issues, sprinkling every sentence with the usual "cultist", "coon" and the likes but you engaged him on those. Every time he mentions anything about CRT, you all skip it. He was the only one on the Right who went on about it so saying there was an agenda is false. At every point he mentions CRT, I have deliberately played the observer role because I expect one-one-one debates. You always avoid it. You could have easily stated your thoughts on CRT but you didn't. I don't expect you would. We all know who starts the insults of cultists and the likes when you lose the plot. Go ahead, debate CRT. Even if it's not with Ben but with anyone else. CRT has been one of the most topical issues in recent months in the news so it's only right to do so. Maybe not for Ben but for people googling "Critical Race Theory". |
donstan18:All of things in the bible are transliterated, not translated. Even the same bible says a day before God is like a thousand years with man yet many Christians still parrot the 7-day creation theory as literally 7 days when the original language for day they transliterated from meant "long period of time". If you call them out, they label you an atheist or heretic or agent of darkness or something vile. |
raumdeuter:If you have premonitions everyday or having clairvoyant thoughts weekly, you are schizophrenic and need psychological help. One of the defining things about both concepts are their randomness and unexpected nature. Like having a flash of knowledge that an aunt I haven't seen spoken to or heard about in 3 years just passed away so I call to confirm from relatives. Something random and unexplainable kike that. |
donjazet:Sorry, I meant to type "Even atheists do not fully agree the Big Bang Theory and time are responsible for intelligent design". You do know that atheism is a rejection of a set of beliefs. Atheists by definition don't have shared beliefs.[quote]Actually, atheism is the rejection of RELIGIOUS beliefs and not necessary the disbelief in the existence of God. There are non-religious people who believe in God.It's a good thing you are honest enough not to know how the world was created. Also you admitted the world is intelligently designed which is you unwittingly admitting there's an intelligent designer. I choose to call that intelligent designer "God". Some would say "Yahweh" or "Allah" or something else but it's all just semantics. Religion is one medium of understanding the concept of that intelligent designer just like you school to learn. But there are home schoolers too who are literate. You could liken those home schoolers to barely or non-religious people who believe in and worship God regardless. |
Trevor012:Typical "My Daddy-In-The-Lord said" guy. I bet you also think the 7-day creation theory is literal or Eve talked to a snake or Adam was the first man on earth. Go ahead - believe whatever your clergyman (most theologically ignorant) tell you instead of digging up the truth for yourself. |
raumdeuter:That's the thing about premonitions - the chances are never 50:50 in the real sense. What's are the chances that you'd get stabbed this evening? No antecedence to support it. There are other likelihoods like being shot at. Or kidnapped. Or something else. In sports where two persons or teams are pitched against the other, it's 50:50 at the very least. The maybe 70:30 if you look at their stats. Of two football teams in a regular match, the outcome is 33.3 : 33.3 : 3.33 at the very least. Win, Draw, Lose. When you look at the stats, the odds begin to change. Isn't that what football betting is based on? Now how would you have ratioed the odds of the Eriksen insistent happening? 50:50? The Danish Team medical staff would have told you 1:733 before the game. But it happened. If he had had the premonition before the game yet he still played, what would have been the statistics to rationalize his decision? That's the point. It's never truly 50:50 with premonitions or clairvoyance. The odds of the incidences are more varied. That's why even scientists and atheists alike aren't stating clairvoyance is statistical. ![]() |
Ezewuzie01:Wike didn't build CFC flyover. It was built by Amaechi and even as far back as 2013- 2014, it was beautified from First Bank Busstop to CFC to Garrison. That bridge wasn't maintained. |
raumdeuter:Using a team of eleven players increases the possibility of it a happening. The chances of Werner scoring at the very least is 1:11. It could even increase to 5:11 based on his recent performances. That's why football bet is a thing and certain outcomes are stated to be gambled upon. It's completely different from you hanging out with friends who are jolly and you have a weird feeling to just leave them to go home, even though nobody is waiting for you at home and you have all the time to yourself. You can't explain it but somehow, something happens after you left. That was how one pastor was saying it boldly that England will win the Euros, assuming England won now, what would we be saying about his clairvoyance? His church would be the flavor of the town. But England did not. After a few dragging people have forgotten and moved onNow that's you assuming. I believe in the concept of God, not an all-controlling God who directs the affairs of men. That's why man has free will to choose. It's my choice to walk out, stand in the middle or the road and get knocked over by a driver. It's the driver's choice to focus on fiddling with his smartphone instead of driving with undivided attention. Whatever becomes of that accident boils down to the CONSCIOUS decisions both of us took, not God. I can have a premonition and decide to alter my normal routine or planned itinerary for the day. It all boils down to me. You can't explain away why some relatives us a premonition of a certain family member dying days or weeks before the death yet the deceased was healthy and safe before and after the dream until the sudden death. I don't believe in the silly prophecies of most of these clergymen too. There's nothing like predestination. Predestination would mean you have no power to decide. It's my decision to either be a truant who eventually robs a bank or an automechanic who learn from Brother Timothy two streets away. It's entirely up to me to decide. |
donstan18:Actually, regardless of what side of the theistic divide you are on, or whether you are sitting on the fence as an agnostic, most people have experienced premonitions and clairvoyance. There are many synonyms for them but the general ideas of both point to both. There are several heated debates on both concepts but at no point has any atheist ever explained both concepts. Most times, the arguments just stall with the atheists picking at straws. The truth is that we believe God by faith, there’s no tangible proof to prove his existence. Even the Bible didn’t in any part give something to use as a backup point in God’s existence debate.Blind faith isn't faith - it's ignorance packaged as a belief to elude accountability. If I had played the devil's advocate by masquerading as an atheist, I'd have flawed and floored you. Most Christians (and theists) as a whole just believe in the concept of God because they've been indoctrinated with it since birth. When they meet atheists who seek logical answers, they either offer the "there's no need to doubt" answer or just gaslight the atheists. Intelligent Design of the university is also another concept science (which atheist base their logic on) agrees with. Intelligent design requires an Intelligent Designer. Atheists agree the Big Bang and just time is responsible for the intelligent design of the universe. You can explain the concept of God logically without even referring to "my Bible says" for a second. |
FirstbornWds:Exactly the kind of distraction defenders have to contend with for Messi to cause havoc. Griezmann was never a Barça-esque player. I have stated this on this thread consistently. His underperformance didn't surprise me. Even Rakitic and Arda Turan were never Barça players. It's unfortunate what's going on with Countinho. Now that's a real Barça-esque player. |
donstan18:Yes, the existence of God which we all call the supreme being or force can be argued or proven. I'd start with this: There's one question I have always asked atheists and none has been able to answer till date. I debated Seun on a thread in 2016 asking the same question but I got banned for some odd reason. Seun and the Nairaland atheists still haven't answered the question till date. Here it is: If God doesn't no exist and spirituality or spiritual connection is a myth or we aren't spiritual being, how then do you explain the following concepts: 1. Premonition:: Which have having a sudden feeling that something bad would happen even though nothing at the moment indicates so; 2. Clairvoyance. Surely you've been in a situations where you have odd gut feeling that a loved one is being endangered or harmed. You've not been in communication with the said person for months yet the gut feeling persists. Days later you get a call which informs you that the aforementioned has been harmed. It's called "CLAIRVOYANCE. Pray, what's the scientific explanation for clairvoyance? Immunologic memory doesn't even apply here. None has been able to answer this. Theists attribute it to God, the supreme being, but disbelievers in the existence of God still can't offer an explanation for the phenomena I described. |
donstan18:And that's the problem. Faith has to be based on something, a provable antecedence or something logical. Most theists just believe in the existence of God but they can rationalise it logically yet they argue with atheists or those who disbelieve the existence who only agree with logical arguments. Yes, God does exist but you should be able to argue proof of God's existence. |
Oldboss:I don't think he'd do much or cause much problems for defenders. But maybe Suarez set the standard too high. I think Aguero might even turn out to be the unexpected wonder signing. |
Trevor012:Check my post history. I don't think you want to start a cussfest with me. I can take on 20 persons at any given point in an e-brawl and still come out tops. I've done so several times. I'm being civil. Respect that and argue without needless insults. ![]() Regarding your point: You do realize even in Christendom, not every of the sects in it believe in the Father-Son relationship of Yahweh and Jesus the Christ? Some even believe Jesus the Christ is God, the one and only. You don't have to take my word for it. Research this. Also, so many things in read in your modern day Bible have been transliterated from the original Aramaic texts instead of translated so contexts have been lost? donstan18:Yes, what's your stand. You've cleared the air, stating you believe in God. The question is, shat's your proof that God exists, and why do you think God is a 'He' when the scriptures you adhere to clearly states both male and female, both are made in God's likeness? |
donstan18:Context. Context. Again on your stand, do you have proof that God exists? And why do you think God is a 'He' when even the Bible states that we are all made in the image of God. Who then do females look like? |
FirstbornWds:Sadly, it's mostly the fault of the Cules on this thread. You've made the thread all about the detractors and the troll is basking in the light of the focused attention of the whole thread on him. Notice he never raises any talking points or debates Madrid-Barça issues. He's just here to provoke and get you wound up. So far, it's working. Barça announced Depay against all odds. Aguero is set to play regardless. These seemed impossible given the La Liga insistence on FFP a week ago so it's big news. Messi took a pay cut and is set to stay. These are the issues not some troll seeking to provoke and get you banned thinking he's 'bossing' the Barça thread. You are engaging him like the Messi-Ronaldo debate is still on. In much of social media, it has ended. Messi FC are just pushing the Balon d'Or agenda for December and not getting distracted. |
donstan18:Do you have prove that God doesn't exist? The onus is on you to prove the non-existence of a supreme being since you are the one(s) disbelieving its existence. |
benalvino3:Budaatum sure knows what it means and the flaw of CRT. He's also smart not to let himself be boxed into a corner so he'd stand just outside the ropes. There's only one way to paraphrase Critical Race theory - Selective victimhood. Wanting to view everything through the lens of racial prejudice predisposes impressionable black kids to always seeing a glass ceiling and not taking responsibility for their actions. Oddly, the same people think Affirmative Action is alright, even though it cheats Asians. By comparison, because Buhari is nepotistic and the Fulani hegemony believing in their unalloyed claim to Nigeria, every time, I get accosted by a policeman, I should blame it on tribalism instead of considering the fact he could either be just vile or I have broken the law. |
basilico:It's spreading to Nigeria. Bobrisky is reportedly doing vlogs telling women how to be feminine and how they can keep men. He's already bragging to some women he's more of a woman that they'd ever be. He's getting endorsement and roles that should characteristically go to women and him telling them they are ugly, and he's prettier than them. The very women who use to defend trans/queer rights are losing their positions to coward males masquerading as females. Men are now bossing women in women sports and these women are scared to speak up for fear of the phobic tag and being cancelled. They have to force themselves to agree with rational folks who are against queers even though passively. In fact, from now on, anytime I am on this thread, I identify as Sèun Osewa. My 'pronouns' are owner/supermoderator after all, we can identify as anything. Also, I self-identity as Elon Musk. Let's all be silly. |
benalvino3:Ironically, the same "Trans Activists" have been. threatening Caitlyn Jenner too for being Right-leaning . Transphobia and the likes only apply when you aren't supporting Leftist ideas. It's the hypocrisy being obvious again. -------- As a side note, I kept returning to refresh the pages at various times since Sunday evening till last night hoping against hope that any of these guys would take you up on the Critical Race Theory talking points you raised. Characteristically, they avoided it; and the one(s) who did, refused to address it but went on about semantics of how you paraphrased the definition. It's like refusing agree to award a goal which scored in a match because the goalscorer whistled while scoring. Too predictable. |
Obakashdee:Positive. |
Kilishihunter:Bartomeu is a crazy, devious guy, and the damage he did to Barcelona would be felt for years. I can bet the CIA, KGB, and Mossad are offering courses called "Advanced Bartomeu" to graduating spies/moles. BART622: How To Wreck Your Enemy From Within While Pretending To Be An Ally. |
aalejobss:Stop lying to him. UI/UX design isn't something you learn in one day or week or month. It has a learning curve, with the least being 6 months. Does he have that time and patience? To be hired, he also needs to build his portfolio which means he'd have to charge almost peanuts at first to build his profile before getting gigs. And the competition in UI/UX design as a standalone skill is high. He'd have to learn proper graphics and/or web design to measure up so he can source for gigs locally. Why would you be so callous to lie to a man who is desperate so you can scam him? Is something wrong with you? |
TLona1:To be fair to Pendulum, there's a record he has Messi would never be able to break or attain. Escaping from responsibilities and abandoning your team in a final to stand on the touchline: Messi: 0 Ronaldo: 1 Cristiano 'Houdini' Ronaldo, ladies and gentlemen. |
Basicend:May you be cursed beyond redemption. GDP and GDP per Capita are the determinants for listing a country as rich. A quick search on Google would confirm Trinidad is the richest Carribbean nation and the 5th richest nation in North and South America out together. This much can be confirmed within 2 minutes. Yet you claim Trinidad doesn't hold these positions. May a horde of ghouls torment you till you step off a cliff for spreading falsehood and ignorance on a public forum. May crazed vultures fight to the dèath over your carcass as carrions swoop, stealing rottening pieces of your torn flesh! |
Basicend:You dyslexic newt! Luxembourg is one of the smallest countries in the world in terms of population and size yet it's regarded as the richest in the world. Dumb thing who doesn't understand what GDP per Capita is thinks he can propagate his idiocy on the pages of Nairaland. Deranged halfwït! |
Basicend:You are dumb if you couldn't research it before arguing. Trinidad is the 5th richest country in the Americas as a whole, and the richest in the Carribeans. |
For the ignorant ones on this thread who keep reiterating the opinion of Nigerians do not matter in U.S. politics, here's an example for you: When you google "XiBiden" which is used to troll Biden's subservience to China, Nairaland is a first page result and the fourth article on the first page search results for "XiBiden". Guess where that article links to? Directly to this thread. This is why CNN and the MSM keep accusing Russia of operating Right Wing Bot Farms in Nigeria and paying Nigerian internet users to support certain talking points. Here's the link: https://www.google.com/search?q=xibiden&oq=xibiden&aqs . Underrate the influence of Nigerians on the internet at your own peril. ![]()

Disclaimer12:You are ignorant! Trinidad and Tobago is the richest Carribbean country and the fifth richest in both North and South America combined. Stop misinforming people. |
