Sportsweb:January 7, 2024. Wicked devious demon! He'd rather his own kinsman who went visiting Imo this year and doesn't know the layout and workings of the state gets murdered by IPOB militants than admit Imo, on Monday especially, is ruled by them. He'd rather a Nairalander gets murdéréd quietly than admit the truth about his home state, Imo State. Likely resident too. This is the halfwît who wants to criticize other states. This is the poster child for sociopolitical hypocritical criticisms I have been on about, and more heated yesterday. |
izzou:You are practically accusing him of what I accuse you of. You criticize Lagos, he defends Lagos. But of you do not do same on your states of origin. Even at that, he has more tribal claim to defending Lagos as he's Yoruba. Same way I might have been tempted to defend Calabar if I weren't who I am since Efiks are an Ibibio group yet I am not from Cross River. |
joseph1832:You can be honest about this. But TheFlint1 and others would play blind to it, only to criticize Rivers. Or agbero in Lagos. People are getting decimated in his home state daily but places where it's less are more of his concern. Like the Sportswack dundérhéad who nearly lured his kinsman Izu days back about no sit-at-home in Imo. He'd rather another person dies in the hands of violent agitators than paint his state for what it is - overrun by criminals who hold sway. |
Sportsweb:You are from Imo State. That already makes you a laughing stock. Imo with cursed with back-to-back bad leaders. Where you countering Izu just days ago when he insisted there's sit-at-home? You shielded the atrocities going one would rather your kinsman dîes in a crazed fanatical attack than admit the truth. Take a thousand backward seats! We would mention you when a person who came 4th can be made governor, or government house road is filled with refuse, or every shitty indices. Or sit-at-home. |
joseph1832:It was all over the news and social media. The Nairalander I mentioned kept reiterating it, but the TheFlock1 who is a sheeple played blind then. If it was Rivers State or others, he'd see it. There goes the "kikiki" brainless quotes to troll them. |
Sportsweb:Sorry, who is this again? Some random nonentity trying to establish dominance and get noticed? My claim to supposed notoriety on Nairaland over the last decade stemmed from addressing issues bluntly. Whether it's attacking men who kiss-up to faceless girls, or girls who think themselves overladies, or, like you, hypocrites who criticise others but don't do same when it concerns one of theirs. |
Theflint1:Dude, shush it too! I knew for certain you join in. As certain as death, I knew. Ever since the Reddit - Nairaland aggregation issue where I had a one-up against you, you've been desperate to counter me, even on complete random and mundane none issues. Why the desperation? Shush it! I didn't see you discuss about the cult killings in Edo when Ségédinho was on about it last December. You played blind. Somehow you played blind but you are quick to join in to castigate Rivers State whenever it comes up. |
DeadPresidents:LOL. I've done government pitch decks on behalf of others. This I have admitted to, even days ago on another thread. Do I type like who'd asslick politicians? Heck! I criticize politicians even to their faces, and on digital and traditional media. I can call out a politician because I don't need them to survive. If I wanted such desperately, I'd be praising them on Facebook and Twitter to get favours. I dare to to scroll my timelines to prove me wrong. You tried attacking me, you failed. You deviated to put me against Ebonyi and Bayelsa, you failed. You personalised it to attack Akwa Ibom, you failed You want to try inferring I kiss up to politicians, you failed. The point you'd wake up to is, you don't hold your state government accountable. And keeping mum is why it can be so reckless. And, of course, you being from a shitty backward state too. Just google your state then weep. You are as effective as dead presidents. |
DeadPresidents:I missed this. You are a cruel person if you think living in Kogi with all of the socio-politico-developmental deficiencies is doing well. My God! The last motorable road you had got dug up by Yahaya Bello. Chernobyl thrives more than Kogi. Why wish your relatives ill? The proverbial wicked uncle/cousin/nephew/distant relative. |
DeadPresidents:I transverse Rivers and Akwa Ibom mostly. I have always made this obvious. Other states are at lesser times - maybe more at stretches. I could be anywhere but I am eager to spend this weekend in Akwa Ibom as it's more tranquil. I miss everything about the city I love most for many reasons. |
izzou:Good. Hopefully, one day you'd criticize the Anambra State Government too, and joined with millions of Anambrians, it'd force it to adjust where it errs, and one state after the other, we can visit all states in Nigeria to enjoy basic amenities obtainable in other more advanced parts of the world. Till then, I'd keep preaching and canvassing and hope it'd catch on. If you could be convinced to see reasons with Obi or even vote, criticizing your state government would one day be possible and easy for you. ![]() |
DeadPresidents:Weak tactics. You're hoping I'd go on the defensive. You should have known better. The fact remains the reason you have some motorable roads is because of me. The reason CAF consider Nigerian venues is me. My state, that is. There are more roads in one of my state's clan or LGA than an entire senatorial district. OF YOURS This is a fact. More infrastructures and more of the good things of life. I'd visit this weekend and enjoy the peace and infrastructure. Reward of my holding it accountable. You are from a shitty place which is currently known for every under development indices. Your stance is like one saying, I don't care if my family house is on fire, I'd focus on criticizing the other house for using the wrong paint. You have more pressing issues - hold your state government accountable. Play your citizen role to turn its fortunes around. Don't you care about your relatives even if you don't leave there? Wouldn't it be nice to visit your ancestral home and enjoy it all amongst people who share everything culturally with you? Think about the above, Nairaland optics regardless. Start by searching out the passed budget tonight and following up on BudgIT to compare implementation. |
The Shally-whatever listening and praising ñitwit above would always hide behind others to make snide remarks. He's never been known for ever contributing to any intelligent discussions. Just "kikiki" like a happy-go-lucky trámp on the roadside at night. He's always on about my looks. Always obsessed with my look as a man. Take your sexually deviant leanings away from me. If we ask to drop pictures now that he's mentioned pictures, he'd flee under the guise of "anonymity". Halfwît. |
izzou:Again, I have called such people names for months on this thread. I have attacked those who don't hold their state governments responsible. Sometimes remind them to analyse state government budgets and financial reports. Even questioned why Edo had a #365 billion budget while Udom of Akwa Ibom presented a #700 billion budget just months before leaving office. All on this thread over the months. Meanwhile, your ally that is assliccking you; What state is he from?[/color]He's from Oyo State. I factored this in. Oyo indigenes like Airmark, Raûndeuter, and Popiziano(I think?) are always at the forefront of criticizing and analysing the activities of the Oyo State Government. Others barely ever criticize the state government. I don't make claims I don't have evidence for. |
DeadPresidents:Kogi does not freaking matter! How don't you get this? Not in IGR or production or more? The most backward state ever so why even bother discuss some forgotten place? The fact that Akwa Ibom is the reason you have some motorable roads is why you should be thankful to that state, you ungrateful thing. It would always be in the news for all the right reasons. It's because of people like me and millions of others who hold their own accountable. 100,000 of you should try that for a change and see how Kogi's fortunes would change. No? Keep criticizing other states and avoiding your ancestral home then. It'd hurt me more than you that it's not doing well, I suppose. |
izzou:There are no allies or foes. Just people who are willing to publicly oppose or support a 'talking' point. It was a general statement about holding all state governments accountable, whether it's your state or not. Especially your state of origin. I've preached this for months on this thread. Particularly criticized Niger Delta state governments even when they are more of my own than other people. What's different this night? You need to get yourself in some good books? That might explain it. I understand the optics. |
DeadPresidents:LOL. The facts are clear, yet I still won't shield it's leaders. Now defend your rundown Kogi. If you had half the spin or true to your lineage, you'd see it as a duty to. But what's there to say aboiyt Kogi? Ta! Ta! Ta! Less than 5 percent on this thread have ever been to Kogi or most states. Or would ever have cause to. You know this. |
GrammarNazi1:There are guys whose states are more adept at gang culture in the South South than Rivers but they joined in criticizing Rivers while they played blind when Segedinhó mentioned gang killings in their state last December. I can attack mine and would encourage other to soundboard the wrongdoings of the state government. They want to attack others but shield theirs. Mention Rivers and Port Harcourt, and you'd find those who can't even say "Good morning" in both states' predominant languages or ever resided their criticize it. Imagine mentioning Ebonyi side by side with Akwa Ibom!Ir's a deliberate attempt to deflect. He should have known better wouldn't be lured into attacking Ebonyi so save his skin. You personalised it when I was being general. Focus on the Kogi versus Akwa Ibom you made it become. Don't hide behind Ebonyi and Bayelsa. |
izzou:"Grammar", not " Grammer". Same point about criticizing others but shielding yours. Point made, again. ![]() |
DeadPresidents:Forget Ebonyi and Bayelsa. I didn't mention them. Don't deflect. Let's focus on your shitty Kogi and Akwa Ibom since you personalised it. There's little bad news for you to ruminate on about Akwa Ibom. When it gets mentioned on this platform, it's mostly for good. Prove me wrong. You'd still mention it for football, or oil, or other developmental yardstick. Still, I still hold its leader accountable. This is the point. Discuss all Nigerian states, examine the bad and the good, but examine the bad about your state of origin too. You never hold your leaders accountable. Maybe if more of you did as leaders of the 4 states I mentioned, maybe your Kogi would be less shitty. Heck! What is Kogi to begin with? |
I had to quickly google Kwansogbu to find out who that is. Turns out it's a pejorative term for Kwankwaso from some Twitter posts. How in Pete's name does it relate to what's being discussed? If you have nothing to contribute, take a back seat. It's not a crime. Is this the part where you do like Twitter folks to claim you'd feed entire generations without flinching? That's the usual retort of your ilk when you lose an argument. Take several seats and act like dead presidents - keep mum! |
Sportsweb:Shush it! I never mentioned any state other than the 4 states which gets criticized regularly, whether jointly or as individual criticisms. He's the one who wants to make a snide remark about Akwa Ibom to personalise it when he hails from a shitty Kogi. That's what you get for personalising issues when you should address it as a whole. I'm not the reason you are a hypocrite who criticizes others but shields your own. |
DeadPresidents:True. They don't need to. Just like the same percentage haven't been to Rivers State they criticize. But I do know they care a billion times about Akwa Ibom for all the right reasons than Kogi which you hail from and which they have a tiny fraction of comparative reasons to ever visit even on a free hitchhike. ![]() |
DeadPresidents:Yes, I sneaked in Akwa Ibom. I join in to criticize Akwa Ibom when it errs. Most recently shaming its leaders for building a fancy church auditorium with billions, and agreeing with those who thought it was a bad idea, giving more reasons why it's a bad idea. Udom Emmanuel was seen as the nicest Governor of his ilk but I consistently expose(d) some corrupt antics he was up to on this thread: - Exposing that he was amongst the leaders who sort injunction from probing security votes - Exposing that he quietly sold 90% of the state brewery even though it's never been reported in the media - Exposing that the state makes more than the declared IGR and he has to be accountable. This you won't find in the media too. - Attacking his media aides who try to paint him as a saint in the Politics Section. I exposed in details the corrupt antics of Akpabio even though he was only rivaled in infrastructure by probably Fashola of the 2007 - 2015 class. Exposed the connection to Ben Bruce, and his tendency to be wasteful with money on social visits and occasions. All on this thread. Others joined when I criticized him too. Some other persons would have protected his image and celebrated him as one of their own, including as Senate President. He's one of mine but I won't shield him unless it's a lie. Yes, I sneaked in Akwa Ibom. Now show me how many people hold their state governments accountable like I do on this thread. ![]() |
izzou:Then hold your peace instead of being a flapdoodle. It wasn't referred specifically to you, nor was your region or tribe inferred. You can be a hypocrite, and I can be the blunt one who calls out hypocrisy. We both have our roles. Play yours as I play mine. ![]() |
izzou:Dude, shush it! Nobody mentioned your moniker. I didn't. You know you are guilty of same. You've joined in to criticize ongoings in other states where you DON'T reside on this thread, but somehow, Anambra where you hail from gets exempted from your criticisms. You want to personify it so there it is - I have taken equal measure. |
izzou:You blind to the highlighted "resident in or from" part? DissTroy:And, yes, it's deviousness. Rich of you to assume I spend most of my days in Akwa Ibom but I criticize it. The location the Gbola guy assumed when he went on a tirade last March from Facebook screenshots hasn't been changed in more than a decade, nor have I updated my location since then. Analyse other states too. Whether you are resident in or from there. That's the message. You lots are the moral police who criticize Rivers but never soundboard same about yours. You are the same ones who complain about selective Inquisition of the opposition. |
Only 4 state governments regularly get analysed here, where for good, bad, or illustrations: 1. Lagos; 2. Rivers; 3. Akwa Ibom, and; 4. Oyo. Barely ever seen others put on the spotlight. Yet we have people resident in or from other states join in maligning the aforelisted, the first two getting the bulk of the criticisms. What happened to the other 34 states? Its residents/indigenes are active on this thread. Reeks of devious hypocrisy. |
Spy360:If we are addressing this fairly, most state governors (including those in Wike's set) are guilty of numbers 1 and 2, including where you hail from.. Numbers 3 and 4 only happened twice 10 years apart, under Amaechi and Fubara. Most of you find Rivers an easy punching bag even when you shy away from analysing your state sociopolitics. Wasn't someone opposing the interrogation of Obiano on this thread? I can't recall you analysing your (resident) state sociopolitics and calling out anomalies. Only those who do have the moral ground to criticize Rivers State. I criticize mine regularly when its leaders err.. Where's evidence you criticize yours? No? You want to protect the reputation of yours while maligning Rivers State. |
OasisX:When you play creek politics, especially in Bayelsa, as long as you have the backing of the creek boys and warlords, you don't have to prove anything to the electorate. Bayelsa has the most advantages due to its small population and relatively large state income through oil proceeds and blue economy, but it seems doomed since the days of Alamesiagha. |
BlueRayDick:It's even easier than most people think for churches to get very low-interest credit facilities. The Bank Managers, Regional Heads, and Executive Directors worship in churches too. Under the influence of Papa, they'd bend the rules and due process for the work of God which he'd explain as grace Plus these Papas have political influence too. Presidents kneel before them. OBJ and GEJ knelt before G.Os and other clergymen, Oyedepo top amongst such clergymen. There's a church in Abuja were a serving senator, HOR member, and one top governorship candidate were serving as ushers. Yes, ushers. Of course, if you rub the Papa's back as a financial institution higher-up, he'd put in a good word for you to his flock of politicians. And that's how Zenith Bank became the unofficial state bank under Akpabio and Udom Emmanuel as Governors. |
raumdeuter:What piqued me about the said lady was how skilled she was. She had a master's degree, was a baker, and could make custom shoes, bags, and jewellries to match which she did on demand. I've eaten her cakes, cupcakes, and pies, and they were tastier than the word "delicious". How he had a hold on her to relegate those commercialisable skills which she was already making money with to go grovel at some Papa's feet and be servile to him and his family should be studied. That Papa title is probably enough to hypnotize just about any overly-churchy person; and it works always, as in her case too. |
