Is Amoto the one sentencing people to death in Kano, or is it the Judicial System?
If the law of the land says blasphemy is punishable by death, then it is irrelevant what Amoto thinks . Amoto is no more Muslim than the guys here. Difference is, he's a kaboom!-loving religious subjugator. I understand the plan is to wear me out and dabble into whataboutism to deviate from the point but like Peter, on this rock I shall focus my missiles - we have a Shekau amongst us. |

Amoto94: "Deborah should have been tried by the Sharia Court then punishment meted out. I stand 100% on the position of Islam and the court on blasphemy."
News: Sharia court sentences blasphemer to death.
Amoto94 's stance =Sharia court's verdict = death for blasphemy.
Amoto supports death for blasphemy.
This is vertical-pole straight. Beating around in circles doesn't change the fact that he wants death for blasphemy or you tried to excuse away his stance. |

I'm just putting it out there for them to realize their stance(s) and defence of Amoto were not steeped in or templated on the observable realities amongst the extremists in the Muslim community. The main reason I've ignored most of those trying to justify Amoto's murderous fanaticism today. Nigeria's penal code still has the death penalty by the way. and Nigeria's constitution allows for death penalty following a blasphemy conviction in Sharia Court
https://www.reuters.com/world/africa/nigerias-sharia-blasphemy-law-not-unconstitutional-court-rules-2022-08-17/ I know a strawman argument when I see one. It's exactly what you are making. Supporting the killings for (real or alleged) blasphemy is even worse than supporting killing for cross-dressing which happen in Brunei, Iran, Yemen and many other countries. Repulsive as cross-dressing is, killing for it is an over-kill. Now try to defend Amoto's continuous championing of killing anyone who supposedly offends his religious sensibilities. |

He didnt shy away from his belief that blasphemers against his religion deserve the death penalty.
