Zonefree:Criminal. It's thieves like you who hide under the umbrella of " grace" to evade explanations for the criminal proceeds you flaut online. Money doesn't just move into a person's account. |
saintkeppy:Lies! No people are as self-destructive as the Oro people. Throw peanuts at the influencers (online and offline) of the Oro people and they'd sing your praises. Udom knows this, that's why every election cycle, he throws peanuts at them, make some low-level appointments and all is good. I'm Ibibio and I can tell you that there are more Ibibios fighting Udom's attempted diversion of the Deep Seaport (even though he's our kinsman) than Oros. You people aren't ready to get the recognition. My LGA gets more money from oil sales redistribution than Mbo LGA even though Mbo has slightly more oil than we do. My LGA also got #6 billion of the 2023 budget while Mbo got peanuts and are quiet. Even at that, we are putting the heat on the Governor for not allocating more and he's gotten more opposition from us. Fight for what you want if you want to be respected as a people in Akwa Ibom. I'm Ibibio and honest enough to let you know we won't give you on a platter of gold. |
ecolime:Because it's all lie to turn Russia's neighbours and allies against Putin. Belarus has been very corporative with Putin but most people are dûmb and never bother to research the history behind any news item. |
Emaprince:I took Coogar down. That much is obvious. Oldies here would tell you. You are even obsessed with my old moniker so much you have been mentioning it over the years. Yes, the guy with the other moniker who took Coogar down is me. I've never hidden. The Earth would have to freeze over before I hide. If there's any in-your-face fraudster around, I'd keep doing so. And I'd so openly because they'd find no dirt on me. You are a fööl if you are online on a Monday morning looking for a 'gist' about some old Nairaland persona when you should be sorting out your life like any adult who earns a legitimate living does during working hours. |
Emaprince:Trying to gaslight? You are the hálfwït who quoted me last night. Now that your drûg-inducéd mental fog has clèared, you'd learn better to be rational when adjudging issues. Dîmwît! |
Emaprince:You are an accûrséd offspring of a shrimp! What personal vendetta? In all of my years on Nairaland, I have been known to bust fraudsters and catfishes. Getting involved in such e-brawls even at the risk of lengthy bans to unmask frauds became a certainty with me. From Coogar to Darkenedrebel to Muva to Victoriabee to Nneka123 to countless others. I've never had an exchange with SeanOkáfor. If anything, I should be on his side because he's seemingly a Peter Obi supporter. But I'd rather forego using the internet that give any sort of credence to (self-confessed) thieving tricksters. Cursed be such a day. May a gazillion rhinøcerosés take turns disemboweling you! |
Regardless of which side of the political divide you are on, on no account should a fraudster attempt to rub shoulders socially with people who earn their money legitimately. I've even read some attempts to excuse scam away here. A fraudster who steals from people and ruins lives with the consequences has no right to try to shame the perceived socioeconomic value of anyone. Much worse, a fraudster whose details are now public. A fraudster is the worst kind of thief. The very worst. |
GloriousGbola:This false arrogation of ingenuity and trailblazing is why Tinubu is earning more háters from even established politicians of the old guard. ANPP was doing more numbers than AD, even as at 1999/2003. ANPP had 96 HoR members of the possible 360; And 27 Senate seats of the possible 109. ANPP had more national spread and was number 2 in elections, even as at 1999/2003. Buhari even got 36% of all votes in the 2003 Presidential election running on the ANPP platform. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/All_Nigeria_Peoples_Party Why do minïons shamelessly lie to our faces like we are still in the days of TVC and The Nation Newspapers when you were the gatekeepers of information (which in the digital era we have found out to be gross misinformation and outright disinformation)? Tinubu was and is no trailblazer. Except you mean being Nigeria's own Heisenberg then he owns that crown. |
A40:...of joy. I totally my agree. ![]() |
Teeklef:Ronaldo is only 9 goals ahead of Messi with CR playing over 110 more games. With CR without any club, Messi would equal that record before January as the league commences in December, and in 100 less games. Better believe in superhumans - we are all seeing one in action. |
A40: Minatouchiha: izzou:Tomorrow is Sunday. It's the perfect time to pay penance for your blasphemy against football's very own god. |
Argentina 2: 0 Mexico Leo Messi: Myth. Legend. Demigod. You better begin to believe in superhumans because you just watched one in action. Doubt him at your peril. Now the FIFA World Cup has begun!

nihilistjnr:Boooooo Penaldo Booooooo. |
I have a problem with people who share the most intimate details of their lives on social media for 'likes' and sympathy, and as 'content' to get attention. I don't do it, I warn my lady not to it and warn my closest loved ones never to do it. He has the money now and can undergo surgery quietly. He can talk to mentors and loved ones privately if he needs comfort.. People on social media don't care. Take your most personal issues offline and away from the public and solve them, unless you can't. He has the money now and can easily get correctional surgery. I have a strong dislike for such people and mute them. Pansies all over. |
A40:Who's Ororo? Oh! The clubless guy? Alright. I didn't see Barca try too hard to keep Messi. They were tired of his demands and let him go for nothingRe: Did Barca force Messi out? Fact-check; Mirror newspaper can authoritatively tell you that Barça's President, the Board and the Coach have been desperately begging Messi to come back and he's been snobbing them. https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/lionel-messi-barcelona-return-psg-28360051 It seems A40 deserves an e40 for telling talltales about Leo.
|
A40:Breaking news: The other guy got kicked out of Old Trafford this evening and his belongings thrown out. Warned never to step foot into the club again else they'd import guillotines from France just for him for a public execution. ----- Can this happen to Messi? No. Too celestial to face such ridicule. He got a goal today. They'd beat Mexico. Today was just a false start in the race to his World Cup fulfilment. Relax, Messi is at the wheels. |
A40:Most assists in football history. Most goals in less games in football history. 10 goals (9 now after today's goal)shy of most goals in football history and in less games too given the trajectory. Well, you and I didn't see Jesus so this is the closest we'd see the divine walk the earth. Savour the moment and don't join these people in saying/posting sacrilegious things against Leo. Doesn't eternal damnation scare you? |
izzou:The ways of the god aren't the ways of humans. Everything he understands best and he does things in his own time. "The glory of next games shall be greater than glory of today", thus sayeth Messi. |
izzou:We all know this comment is Sakastic. The glory of god might delay but it shineth through eventually. |
izzou:If there's a Hell and you end up in it, I can assure you that it's because you slighted the Anointed One and he that was prophesied to come fulfill the promise of footballing completion - Messi. Repent. The Kingdom of Messi is at hand. Like John the Baptist and the prophets, I have warned so you can escape eternal damnation. |
Theflint1:She's El Rufai's in-law and has always taken his side publicly, regardless of how chaotic and heinous his stances are. She's only being fair because everyone expected her to be biased and this is her one redemption. Even her colleagues like Farooq Kperogi who is very pro-Muslim and North calls her an ethnic jiongist. I can provide the link to Farook positing this if anyone doubts. It's on his Facebook page. |
Amalekki:Justin Timberlake: "Cry Me A River". Such a classic. ![]() https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DksSPZTZES0 |
If you can slander Messi, a god, I can understand why Jesus has continued to tarry. Why waste time returning to see these humans who can't recognise the awesomeness of divinity? What's the point of the Second Coming? Repent. The Kingdom of Messi is at hand. |
nihilistjnr:A god descended on this corrupt earth to play amongst you mortals and give you all a glimpse of what perfection is like and you dare slander him? You are all undeserving of watching Leo. Ungrateful beings. |
sexiestharam:None of that counts. Until the god of Football Leo Messi steps on the pitch, other games were just warm-ups. |
Yes, you've seen 4 games so far in this Fifa World Cup, and Qatar 2022 promises to be everything and more. But today the god of football descends from his throne to show us mortals what perfection feels like. Today football's greatest ever player steps on the pitch. Today Lionel Messi plays.

OasisX:Akwa Ibom 2023 budget is #694 billion. Our IGR averages #32 billion. Our Governor sticks to the minimum wage. Though he isn't owing workers. Once I break it down, you'd realised it's padded to conceal stolen monies. -- Edo State under Obaseki 2023 budget is about #350 billion (half of ours) but Obaseki last Monday mentioned Edo IGR is ~#60 billion (almost double ours). Obaseki also began paying #40,000 (above minimum wage). Edo is also slightly more populated than Akwa Ibom. Wike of Rivers is owing workers despite the huge allocations. Akwa Ibom allocation is only rivalled at intervals by Lagos and Delta. --- Lagos State budget is extremely high too given what the Governor has underachieved so far. --- "What has Okowa done?" is another main question here. All State Governors need to be asked same question. |
Random fact: In the last two weeks, this thread has been the most active on Nairaland. By 12:00AM on Nov. 8, it was on Page 664. By 6:00PM on Nov. 20, it"s already Page 813. That's 149 pages added in 12 days. An average of 12.33 pages per day. No Nairaland thread has this record. Not even the scandal threads created. At least none that I know of. |
liveLongNprospa:Can you remember the first time you posted on this thread? Have you really converted anyone? Has any ground been shifted? Asides the SEO value, has anyone been converted? You'd even do more conversion on Twitter and Facebook, not here. That broke person should be on Twitter networking with industry experts and following their advice and clicking on links to register for better opportunities. My explanation wasn't really for you. It's for the teenage boy or confused lad in his early twenties who might come here to view this thread at an odd hour of the day since there are over 170,000 views and less than 100 active on this board posting. Since April, ICT accounted for 18.4% of our GDP in Nigeria, more than oil or any other sector. So it's proven that ICT is the way out for that broke young person. But he'd only see the stairway up when he sets his priorities right. Again, my explanation isn't exactly for you. It's the same brutal type of comments I give at tech symposia I speak at. I'm no motivational speaker to post soothing comments. It's to challenge the reader or listener and drive home the brutal truth. If you have a smartphone and can afford data, there's no reason to be broke. None. Ensure you don't have to beg someone to subscribe for you or foot an immediate need. Yes, life happens but don't let it happen to you. Not every time. We can go back to cursing each other out now or supporting each other on posts. Whether you get the message or not isn't really important. |
