AKEEMNAS:
This is your opinion and for the record PHP is not dead.
Most of the web services you come across online are running on PHP, even CMS (Content Management System) platforms, a good example of this is WordPress.

Even Slack, the popular collaboration tool was built on PHP.

@OP you can start with either of the two, if you decide to choose PHP, you can learn Laravel after learning PHP.
No Technology is dead or useless. Just learn one and be proficient at it, then you can learn others on the journey. All the best.
Even WP is no longer just PHP dependent. With Headless WP, you can extend functionalities with other languages.

Every dev should learn basic or intermediate PHP but NodeJs is better.

PHP laravel ..... If u are good with that , I sure u don' t even need to be employed by anyone.
Just create any script and sell on codecayon and you will cashing out daily.
Yeah right! Unless those scripts are SAAS which do specific things and solve specific problems, you won't sell. Plus you need a team and marketing to push your script. What script do you want to build that hasn't been built already on CodeCanyon? CodeCanyon displays the engagement rate for each script. Haven't you seen some of just 20 purchases after 4 years? How's that profitable?

Instead you should have adviced him to seek paying gigs while he uses the money to build PHP applications which would fetch him money when sold continually. Even people are stuck on cetsin WP teams.

Hello, Oceanwp, Astra and Oxygen are the prefer. Go search out the number of developers and marketers pushing each or those themes daily.

I said Tinubu has made his campaign a Yoruba project and not that Yoruba's have made Tinubu's campaign their project.
More pointedly, Tinubu is the only one of the presidential candidates who has said on live TV that it's [ his tribe's] turn to be president and in Yorubaland, it's his turn. That's how the "Emi lokan" quip/slur began.
He has doubled-down on it every single time and that's why many Yoruba elites are asking who decided it's his turn even if there's a Yoruba slot.

Tinubu began his campaign right before the primaries on a tribal platform. Not even Kwanwaso who's seen as fanatically pro-North has said so.
Even Buhari didn't say it's the turn of the North in 2015.

Is Tinubu a tribalist? I don't think so; but it's devious to pretend he hasn't based his campaign on tribal sentiments.

I
This thing Brymo is doing is how own version of Ola-Iya Igwe's naked prayer stunt. They're falling over themselves to show loyalty to the man's campaign, believing that since the man's campaign has been made a Yoruba project, they'd be first in line for whatever goodies come of it, given how much they sacrificed, and in Brymo's case him sacrificing his career.
On thing I have learnt about politics is, politicians after they win, never bring the most fanatical of their supporters into their fold.

Buhari shunned Ezekwesili, Omojuwa and Deji when he became president even though they were his most fanatical supporters on Twitter and Facebook, cursing everyone out and threatening violence.

Laolu, PYO's spokesperson, was calm in 2013 - 2015, and even today.
Garba Shehu didn't curse people and threaten them leading to 2015.
Adeshina didn't too.
PYO's photographer who's popular didn't get involved in the politicking during the primaries.

PYO's campaign manager, Richard Akinnola, (you can check him out on Facebook) didn't go the extreme for Osinbajo. Sanwo Olu was the special guest at his birthday months later.

In fact, none of the fanatical supporters of Buhari have really benefitted visibly from him. I can count names of people who got mega contracts from Buhari but never even publicly showed him support. Remember the man who trekked for him but wasn't even acknowledged?

Even Atiku's spokesperson, an Igbo man, hasn't gone overboard. He didn't do it even in the lead-up to 2019.

Brymo is wasting away whatever is left of his diminishing career; and worst even, wasting it away on a gamble which has been shown not to pay off well.

Atleast no former governor of Lagos state, have ever come out to criticize Asiwaju publicly, can same be said for Obi
You expect same Lagos governors Tinubu handpicked to expose him?

What happened to Ambode who tried to be his own man? He got kicked out.

What happened to Fashola during the second term when Tinubu didn't want him even though he sextupled Tinubu's performance as Governor in just 4 years between 2007 and 2011? He had to get his people to suck on Tinubu to be ALLOWED to run for s second term.

Lmao. How will a determined president fix our porous laws?

Is the determined president responsible for making our porous laws? Once again, how will he fix it? By enforcing it? Once again, how will he enforce it when the agencies that are suppose to enforce the laws are corrupt to the brim.

In Nigeria, when laws are enforced, Nigerians groan and lament. They complain and attach religious and tribal sentiment to it.

So tell me, is it this police force, that is full of illiterates and halfwits, who expect to enforce laws?

Izz.ou, you and dis.stroy are idealists and idealists don't prosper in Nigeria.
I'm an optimistic realist, not an idealist.

There's a workable pragmatic approach to Nigeria's problems.

First we have corruption and income generation issues.

Oil is still our top 2 source of income. Only 17% of drilled oil is accounted for. A determined President would ensure NNPC functions and those lost oil loopholes are blocked.
That solves corruption and increased GDP.

Next is ensuring strong institutions. Why are politicians jailed for corruption released in months? Why do Yahoo boys get 6 months imprisonment but a hungry man who stole ogbono soup jailed for 3 years. Strong institutions.

A determined president would ensure a welcome policy like the Whistle Blower policy of GMB doesn't die. That's help cut corruption.

But we don't need a determined president according to you.

I wonder when causing problems now translate to causing disaster. You obidient lot really like twisting people's words and giving your own interpretations.

As a politician, it is always better to be underrated than overrated. If you don't curb your enthusiasm and manage your expectations, you will be in for a rude awakening.

His detractors have said:

- An LP-less NASS would frustrate him.
-The old guard would frustrate him.
- Northerners would always make a Southern President's tenure hellish for him.

We already know what he'd be up against.

But we also know he's not a thief. And given the monies and resources stolen daily in this country, if we block the drainpipe, we'd have enough money to fix a number of things. Like settle ASUU and fund education properly to begin with.

First, we want to make sure a thief doesn't get to Aso Rock this time and the only person who does has no embezzling tag on him.

Same place Qatar and Saudi Arabia are currently sourcing the bulk of their income from - oil.

You might not be aware but 83% of oil drilled in Nigeria is unaccounted for. NNPC and the poorly-regulated sector are culpable.

If we could account for even 80% of our oil, our GDP would triple (and quadruple when you add our all-time high from ICT, and the one from trade).
---
Even states lose a whole bulk of money unaccounted for through poor taxation systems and deliberate leaks. No state in Nigeria currently has a central taxation system which is somewhat effective. None.

Something like what New York has would greatly increase state revenues. From state taxation systems of different countries I have been studying, that is.
----
We currently even have enough resources to fund our national ventures.

Alagbado is where DAAR Communications (AIT and RayPower) is located. That road was a death trap. Raymond Dokpesi who's from your state and Chairman of DAAR tarred that road. Yet it was still awful.
Alagbado and Alakuko had some of the worst roads in the whole South West.

Tito Da Fire was the main OAP on Raypower and a distant relative so I visited that road many times. And that's where the AIT Easter Fiesta held so we got to go.
Come on! What shameless lie is this?

Also, he filled all the potholes at Karimu Laka street at Egbeda. He also did the same at Ogunlana street and Akonwonjo road.
The achievement of the Father of Lagos who built the city from scratch is filling potholes? Akonwojo was the headquarters of bad roads under Tinubu so much so if you lived there, people were less likely to visit you.

Now these are roads I know he did because it was right under my eye. It was something I witnessed.
Next?
What in Otem's name is this? You just insulted Tinubu? Filling potholes which didn't last a month? You ignored Maryland, Ajah and others.

You just proved Tinubu failed and was bang subpar. Thanks for proving my point. I knew you'd somehow have my back. cheesy
