Does Christian sin yes. But do they live in sin no. When a true Christian sins his heart condemns him. He goes before God and ask for mercy


An unbeliever or ungodly person has no remorse for sin. His heart doesn't condemn him because he is dead


Then as a believer grows he gets stronger and may not do some things he did as a spiritual babe. But this is also a double edge sword because when he becomes prideful he may see himself do those things he was condemning others. I have seen preachers climb pulpit and condemn and judge people claiming that they are holy only to do worse things they were condemning at the pulpit.

There must be balance when interpreting God's word. Because genuine believers who made mistakes have been judged to the extent some even depart from the Lord.

Notice how Peter answered saying that they are staying with Jesus because they believe he has the words of
ETERNAL LIFE and that they BELIEVE he is Christ the Son of God. Remember how John 3:16 said those who believe in Jesus have eternal life.

In Peter's mind all the 12 disciples believed in Jesus, but it wasn't so in the eyes of Jesus who knew one of them didn't believe in him. See what he said below.

70 Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?
71 He spake of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon: for he it was that should betray him, being one of the twelve.

Clearly, Judas was never ever saved because he didn't believe in Jesus and he also was a devil as described by Jesus himself. So, for someone to sit somewhere and say Judas lost his salvation is the height of deceit.

You can imagine. Someone that was evil, and betrayed the Lord.
Another lesson is the Lord knew who he was but you never saw Him call out Judas. He even gave Judas to hold there purse of Money. Judas was also a thief stealing from the purse. When Mary anointed Jesus, the perfume was very expensive, worth a years wages. Judas was the one saying that the perfume should have been sold and given to the poor. But he was saying it to rob and steal not that he cared for the poor.

Infanct a child of God when he makes mistake his heart condemns him. A Christian can never be comfortable in sin. Most especially the wonderful fellowship he enjoys with the Father.

When you go to the gym, what do you say you are doing? You say you are working out your muscles. Working it out means you already have it but you just want it to be more pronounced so you work it out. God put muscles in you when he created you. But because you want to look like a body builder, you decided to work it out by hitting the gym.

Same thing with salvation. God has put salvation in you and wants you to make it pronounced by working it out i.e showing it off to the world. This will make others also get attracted to want to have a change of heart and follow God too, same way your friends will be motivated to hit the gym just to look awesome when they see your good looks.

How do you live above sin?

I was listening to Pastor Joseph Prince recently (in fact he is number 1 preacher I listen to) and he said that in the book of Acts the early apostles always said believe in the Lord Jesus and though shall be saved. Salvation is strictly believing in the Lord Jesus Christ, Romans 10 throws more light on it.

The reason why we have a very ineffective body of Christ is because of many wrong teachings that has been going on. And these teachings does not transform lives of people, but put people under so much bondages


As for this topic I agree to it. If people understand salvation, whom God is, His nature you will understand that God has loved us with everlasting love. God is not man. God doesn't condemn. In fact it is the goodness of God that brings us to repentance.

If you want to stay sane don't put your trust in anybody to make you fulfilled. Ensure you are fulfilled and happy as a person. And nothing you see in marriage will surprise you.

A worship that was meant to be for a pagan god was converted to be a " festival to Jehovah." Don't you see the analogy? People in the time past celebrated a pagan god on December 25. Make your research and try to find out what characterised that celebration and you will discover that it is in no way different from what characterises Christmas celebrations today. What happened was just a change of the name of the celebration, from PAGAN god to JESUS celebration. In the same vain, the Israelites changed the IDOLATROUS worship to FESTIVAL TO JEHOVAH.

Verse 6 shows that the Israelites offered up burnt offerings and presented communion sacrifices. To who? According to them, to God. In their minds, evidently, they felt it was harmless to REPLACE God with the GOLDEN CALF, analogous to "Christians" REPLACING the PAGAN gods with JESUS CHRIST.

But God punished them. Recal that the Israelites made burnt offerings and sacrifices, things they normally do in their worship to God. But why did God still punish when they said it was a festival to God? The reason is not far fetched. The origin of the festival was bad. Just simply changing the name of the festival was not enough. The origin! The origin!! The origin!!!.

Well, honest-hearted people, those who really want to know the truth, have seen glaring reasons why Christmas should not be celebrated. It is simply not for true Christians. Christmas is just Pagan Festival with a different face, much like the colour of a building is changed from white to green, but the building remains the same.
