I do not believe that more women seek a long term commitment than men, simply because those women are marrying/married men, who were as well seeking a long term commitment.

These things depend on each other, the more single ladies there are, the more single men as well, the more married ladies, the more married men as well (that's if there's no gender gap)

What appears to be an imbalance is actually a balance. It's a cycle. A guy your age might be a no go for you, but that's someone's ( in this case a younger lady's dream man), while you are the younger lady of another man.

An imbalance only exist if there are way more women than men (or vice versa) in a country. China for example has a huge gender gap. There are way too many men than women. This is however not the case in Nigeria.

I am not supporting polygamy, but in looking at what you said. Men and women are not the same. Women have a shelf period of there prime when they are hot cake, men troop around them. But if they miss that period, there value in marriage market depreciates. That's why it is alarming many women today, who might be financial and career successful but are single and alone.

Today societal concepts have changed and it has brought with it many anomalies. Most especially in man versus woman paradigm. Women say they are gaining more ground, but in real sense, they are not.

People think that saving Nigeria will be just by mere shouting. Anybody that knows how to pray should do so intensely.

Every device of the crafty ones on Nigeria is totally annihilated!!!

Nigerians don't give up on prayers. Keep on praying, Pharaoh never let Israel go despite all the plagues God brought on Egypt, it took 10 plagues to break Pharaohs back. All I know is that Nigeria is stunted in growth. Nations like Malaysia, Singapore they got independence within the same period have so much advanced, this Nation still can't move an inch.

That was my opinion too. You wonder why many marriages are breaking up, because men marry because of sex. Instead of marrying a woman that will add value to there life.
Because we live in a sex crazed society. People then think it is all about sex. Then when they marry one to two years or even less, they get tired.

It depends on what you term good girls because nice girls I know are hot on the counter.

The main reason why we have many advanced single girls is because they didn't take there opportunity. Many of them, they have had man wanting to marry them but they felt they wanted to develop themselves career wise.

By the time they were ready they were advanced in age and men were no longer coming because men go for younger women.

In addition character wise many ladies are deficient. A woman that has good character, knows how to respect a man, can easily get hooked. But a lot of Ladies have no respect. Recently I noticed that there are women you come across they will greet you well, while some will just be mean. That is a sign that she has no courtesy. A responsible lady will always show courtesy.

I think what leads to this suicide is feeling of hopelessness. It is of the devil. And what perpetuates it is being far from God.

People may not know this but there is a comfort that God gives. A comfort that drives out your fears, worries concerning life's troubles and challenges. And this comfort I am talking about surpasses any comfort that man can give you.

But the only way one can access this comfort is when you operate in God's wavelength.

The devil is real. Whenever you are having thoughts of that you are hopeless and worthless, and that life is meaningless. That is the devil. And the thoughts will be loud. But another thought will be coming to your mind, that you are not worthless, that all will be well. This thought is not loud like the other thought of hopelessness. That is God speaking to you.


What perpetuates those negative voices is because we don't have a personal, intimate, relationship with our maker.

You might be messed up, junkie, etc still God has not given up on you. Don't let anything drive you from God. Even when you mess up, don't run away from God. People will condemn you and talk bad things about you. But God has never condemned you.



In conclusion no matter what you are going through, don't run away from God. God cares for you. Run to Him, He will always be there for you.
And in no time, the sun will shine again and you will smile again!!! It is not yet over at all.

Social media is a means of communication and dissemination of information.
That I am on social media does not mean that I don't have my own company or brethren.

Most of the sharing you saw here was gotten from teachings learnt over a lifetime in local congregations. It was from people who interact in real life and thereby share on this topic.
