I know your mind will go to western culture. Yes, western countries are smart. They decide not to take bride price, and liberated women, so women work and share bills at home compulsorily.

If we must stop taking care of our wives 100% and want them to share the bills, we should equally eliminate bride price so our women can share equal rights with us, and if there is divorce we pack from the house and go into the street and start afresh.

I knew this because I study about how to be a great husband, so when I found this since I was a teenager, I worked extra hard knowing I must provide 100% and having that at the back of my mind helps me a lot. So, I do not expect a woman to make any expense at home and my wife has not made any expense, and I pay my bills 1 year ahead if possible and ensure that nothing lacks, if it happens, I have to apologize for that and find a way to manage until I get it.

I am not religious. I know for sure that everything MUST fail and it is my fault. So, I take responsibility to study systems and processes and ensure they do not fail and if they do, I fix it instantly and I use data to extrapolate and scale everything and event as well as the reaction.

In essence, I determine the mood of my home daily, and I ensure that every minute I am home, I engineer the mood of the home. From Movies to music, to massage etc. Everything has time-table. I ensure that there is enough fuel for the home one year in advance, so you see what I mean. There must be planned actioning on everything, if not, the vampire brainwave can alter the dynamics of homes and cause women mind to wander off. It is natural.

These things have nothing to do with being a black man or white man, it has 100% to do with the reading culture and getting education on all aspects of Life. You need to have a home library and study after work and plan when you are retiring to your own business and train your crack team of staff to handle most repeting processes so you can focus on actually having a life. You are not alive for your job, you are alive for your home and real existence.

Above all, once in awhile, take your wife out and have a dance. Get her into dancing classes and build a real life, not living on survival mode of working working working. You didnt come to this world to work, you came here to fix things and enjoy while at it.

Our curriculum needs to be updated with a " quality of life" unit so that this "making" it ignorance does not continue to blind us from the fact that we deserve better. The making it that cannot ensure access to well equipped hospitals in an emergency situation. The making it that cannot ensure the medical personnel in an expensive hospital have the training to give you the "right treatment in time" in an emergency. What is "making it" with ratchet infrastructure everywhere you look.

Nigerians are emigrating in droves, it is not about money. If it were just money, most of the current movement from Abuja, Lagos, Port Harcourt would stay put. People are beginning to see what they did not realize before and trying to make hay while the sun shines by getting out while they still can.

As in people are leaving in droves. I know about 3 different families that have relocated to US and Canada. And all of them are comfortable.

My sister relocated to Canada last summer With husband and children. They already have Canadian permanent residence, they will get Canadian passport in 3 years time.

Me I have already started processing my own. Hopefully before 3rd quarter of this year, I am gone for good!!

South West, South East and South South are not even doing badly.

Our leaders need to realize that it is not even true that we need the power at the centre to develop. Case study Lagos has been doing very well better than every other parts economically. It was just four years ago they joined the centre. This model should be copied by the entire South.

The truth is that only a real true genuine Christian man can keep all the virtues being talked about. I am a man. And truthfully if not for the genuine fear of God, there is no way a man can remain chaste, have virtue and be faithful to his partner. Because the temptation out there is so much. The only thing that keep some of us is simply the fear and hand of God on our lives. Even with that, sometimes it can be serious battle and beating your body not to misbehave.
