Politics › Re: 2024: Tinubu Signs N28.7tn Budget Into Law by DMerciful(m): 4:22pm On Jan 01, 2024
That 28.7 trillion of the certificate forger and narcotics trafficker's budget is less than the 4.5 trillion GEJ budget if you factor the astronomical decline of the naira since 2015.
Politics › Re: Allow The Igbos Have Their Country; Biafra ~ Tukur Danmuazu by DMerciful(m): 4:06pm On Jan 01, 2024
I'm talking to the guy that suggest deferring to the politicians. The politicians are only relevant in this status quo so would resist genuine change
Bigkoko:
Do you mean the ones that depends on CJN Arioowola kayode led judiciary or the ones in DSS dungeon?

The ones who depends on Nigeria Deep State has nothing to do, other than join in looting the country!

Yes, we have politicians who are mounting pressure, some are moderates, while others are hardliners. Some are in DSS dungeon while others are abroad.

If the Deep State don't listen to wise counsel, the hardliners may win.
Politics › Re: Allow The Igbos Have Their Country; Biafra ~ Tukur Danmuazu by DMerciful(m): 3:59pm On Jan 01, 2024
Do you really believe that strategy?
Goodvibes007:
I believe someone already told you what to do. Write and put pressure on your Politicians who would also put pressure on the National Assembly.
Politics › Re: Allow The Igbos Have Their Country; Biafra ~ Tukur Danmuazu by DMerciful(m): 3:57pm On Jan 01, 2024
It seems you want to continue to tolerate this failed system if it will give you the impetus to continue to blame Igbos even though Hausa-Fulanis and Yorubas have been swinging power between themselves for 50yrs without a single solution
Goodvibes007:
You mean the soldiers from the North or the 1999 constitution which is the brain work of that Ben Nwabueze. LMAO.

We can see through your bullshit back then and can still see through your bullshit now.

Aguiyi-Ironsi invited Prof. BEN NWABUEZE and some of his Igbo kinsmen to draft the MOST INIQUITOUS PIECE OF LAW DOCUMENT, THE ATROCIOUS UNITARY DECREE 34 OF 1966 that took away powers from the regions and handed over to the CENTER controlled by his KINSMAN. It was intended to be used for DOMINATION but unfortunately for them, the same decree fell into the hands of the FULANIS who have since held it like a sword of Damocles over the whole of Nigeria. Now bigkoko is wailing.

That UNITARY DECREE is what has been RUINING NIGERIA EVER SINCE and which eventually metamorphosed into the current 1999 CONSTITUTION.

It will require a President or Governor who is very vast in the art of gangster and bandit politics to survive the maze of the 1999 constitution. It is a landmine of INJUSTICE. Ben Nwabueze authored it.

When you get your an Ibo president maybe in 2031, you can tell him to change the constitution via the national Assembly.

Not an excellent writeup because he offered no solution, just complain of the past
opamoses1:
Excellent write up.

Having quoted this history whether true or false, are you saying you don't agree with the Op to return to regional govts?
Slytiger:
Basically, you are advocating for the return to regional government that Chukwuma Nzeogwu messed up via a coup and Umunnakwe Aguiyi-Ironsi helped destroyed via his unification decree. Ben Nwabueze also helped Ironsi to draft the decree.

Let's not also forget that Nnamdi Azikiwe ensured that it was a treasonable offence to try to secede.

U people should rest. So he shd resign because Peter obi did not win.

How come you pple accepted the result of Abia. State? Why didn't you reject that too.

Politics › Re: Do You Think That Things Will Change On Its Own? by DMerciful(m): 8:54am On Nov 14, 2023
The country was very bad under the 8yrs of Bubu however fuel was N195, $ was less than N500, inflation was around 21% but now fuel is N620, $ is N1200, inflation is 30%, rigging of election is now done with impunity, the judiciary is compromised, kidnapping is at all time high.

There's no pointer that Tinubu wont be tremendously worse than Bubu.

Something must give!
Gajagojo:
No I am refering to you specifically and your antecedents and utterances before the election
So stop being hypocritical. Don't be a coward.
The country just stopped working after Obi lost?

Or this is a new type of not working?
Politics › Re: Conduct Of Imo, Kogi, Bayelsa Polls, A Major Setback – Situation Room by DMerciful(m):
There is no difference between Saturday election Nov 11, 2023 and 2007 election where INEC wrote results and the people's votes never counted.

You're pretending not to know whats going on
SoNature:
Check the comment again. I saw this question coming and updated my comment.

In 1999, the electoral law didn't recognise tech-driven voting. Today, the law does. Omo-Agage and his committee reviewed the electoral laws and gave us what we have today. It can be better. All politicians aren't as bad as we think they are.
Politics › Re: Do You Think That Things Will Change On Its Own? by DMerciful(m): 8:28am On Nov 14, 2023
You see everything through Tinubu snd Obi.

Clearly, for people who are not blind, the country is not working!
Gajagojo:
This is a sudden problem? created by Tinubu or solvable only by Obi?
You are deceiving yourself
Politics › Re: Dino, Peter Obi Didn't Win Lagos But Votes Allocated To Him To Cover Up by DMerciful(m): 8:13am On Nov 14, 2023
Like I said you're too dumb to see that the destruction is far beyond Obi.

You'll realise it later.
KingOfAllIgbos:
Lol. Country is destroying because they pushed Peter Obi aside ? grin

Was Nigeria like USA before February 2023? grin

Look at this map and use your senses to explain how Peter Obi could have possibly won angry
Politics › Re: Do You Think That Things Will Change On Its Own? by DMerciful(m): 8:12am On Nov 14, 2023
All the state institutions are operating outside the constitution with impunity and the court is compromised.

When things get to this stage, only the people's revolution or a military intervention can reset the country.

It also provides a way to get a brand new constitution!
Gajagojo:
Tinubu's erection victory is very painful for many Ibos
They find it hard to swallow

Here we are seeing the same January 15 1966 mentality all over again
No lessons learnt
If I can't have the baby divide in in too
After all your pre erection bravado this is what you are reduced to
Politics › Re: Conduct Of Imo, Kogi, Bayelsa Polls, A Major Setback – Situation Room by DMerciful(m): 8:10am On Nov 14, 2023
Who will do it? The political class that compromises INEC to rig elections?
SoNature:
Democracy is not dead in Nigeria.

Democracy has issues that can be fixed.

Just like the group suggested, an independent auditing company should have real-time access to INEC data during elections.

Just like Deloitte does to BBNaija, they should review the electoral laws to engage auditing companies that will work with INEC. The company will also ensure that all the big sums INEC usually ask for during elections were actually spent on the right purpose.

Finally, those caught stealing ballot boxes should be shot on sight. Arresting them is just unnecessary.
Politics › Re: ASUU, COEASU, others mandate Members to comply wiith Strike Action by DMerciful(m): 8:08am On Nov 14, 2023
If you're representing Nigeria then they'd go on strike for you. If the beating of the NLC president who has far greater mandate than Tinubu because he represents workers of over 70 million people, is not challenge then NLC will be effectively dead!
ethan0:
My honest question, if I as a citizen is mishandled my political thugs or the police, would Nlc go on strike for me?
Politics › Re: ASUU, COEASU, others mandate Members to comply wiith Strike Action by DMerciful(m): 8:05am On Nov 14, 2023
You're so shortsighted
GWMI:
So you want to hold the nation to ransom because your NLC president was beaten in his own state?
So na we Nigerians send am the message?

Politics › Re: NLC Nationwide Strike: What's The Update From Your State? by DMerciful(m): 6:57am On Nov 14, 2023
If it will lead to a revolution then it will be a good thing
Ikaeniyan0:
I don't think this is the solution right now. The strike won't lead to any positive thing except more hardship for Nigerians.

The strike will probably fail because it's an unnecessary strike.

You're celebrating the destruction of your country but too dumb to see it. You'll realize it later
KingOfAllIgbos:
Lol. I actually said this during elections. Might sound strange but hear me out.

ALL major candidates rigged. Rigging isn't just by ballot paper snatching. You bribe INEC officials etc.

Tinubu is hyper smart when it comes to politics. He's just disappointed me thus far as per economy.

He smartly gave Lagos, FCT, Abuja ...even Kaduna to his enemies.

Gave them meaningless victories to salivate over. Tell me who the President is now or the Governors in the listed states.

If you go out to complain, you would be reminded you accepted INEC's Lagos results didn't you? So why complain about the same INEC?

Mark these words, if Peter Obi contests today, he wouldn't get half of those votes in Lagos. Tinubu has zero need to pretend anymore.
Politics › Re: Dino, Peter Obi Didn't Win Lagos But Votes Allocated To Him To Cover Up by DMerciful(m): 6:35am On Nov 14, 2023

You don't love the country if you want this sham to continue
