Yes,it is.I know a lot are aggrieved over the loss of obi but if we look beyond that,you will see massive improvements not recorded before.
The bvas technology exposed voters inflation.no candidate could get up to a million vote in any state like we did under the card reader.
There was a lot of upsets,unprecedented electoral shocks.in every state,a lot of political giants lost their elections.over 10 incumbent governors lost their senate polls while zamfara gov lost out,the first time opposition is winning zamfara.an okada man won elections in kaduna,a garri seller won in taraba,a 26 year old won in kwara,a nobody defeated obanikoro and banki w.Mrs ireti defeated sen aduda,a newbie defeated giants to win idemili federal seat,winning Cubana brother and hon ibezi.even the forgotten tony nwoye,the ayaka nsugbe won elections.the last time I witnessed such was in 2011 when sen mantu lost to sati gogwim,when wabara lost momentarily to anpp and when david umaru,oshiomhole,aregbesola won.

Unlike in 2015 and 2019,we had little incidences of underage voting.apart from Lagos and rivers,cases of violence was minimal with low casualties.
For the first time,inec intervened and called its erring staffs to order discipline or suspending RECs in sokoto,Adamawa.

How do we improve our elections?

Firstly,inec should upgrade or improve bvas technology or we should upgrade to full-scale electronic voting.
Secondly,inec should hire its own internal security agents to be Manning polling units as the police who are usually there are mostly unarmed or easily comoromised and do not report or owe allegiance to inec.alternatively,inec should have a dedicated police command which it would through the igp and psc discipline as at when due.
Inec should sponsor a bill that will make electoral offices unlucrative.a president should not be collecting more than 200k a month with no allowance and with just 10 security.a governor salary must not exceed 100k with no allowance.legislature should be part-time and baid 10k per sitting.

Inec should introduce stiff and stringent penalties for election riggers,sponsors of violence or vote buyers.any party or politician caught will be banned for at least 8 election cycles.

They should all calm down. Typical of Nigerians, when something goes wrong instead of conducting a detailed investigation, they are calling for scraping of INEC, some are even blaming democracy. No system is perfect, what needs to be done is find out what went wrong and fix it asap

There's no need to use the word rigging in election petition anymore, just bring your results from polling units, gets lots of witnesses including results with other political parties and forensics.

We have no one to tell us the grilling drama between Peter Obi and the UK immigration officials. What was his offence and what did they ask him? Is there something that Peter Obi does not want the world to hear?

Peter Obi is a man of integrity. He should come clean and clear doubts in the minds of people who are insinuating the unimaginable. He should grant a press conference on his arrest and detention.
