Igbo land is the entire Nigeria!
0monnak0da:
Stop repeating Lagos obsessively
What is your definition of LAGOS
Do you even have a vision for Ibos or Iboeland?
We will create a Lagoon state soon carving out Lagos city and you can fight over that
We are always ahead
No matter How fast you run you will never overtake the road

Met his waterloo by being arrested when he has not been tried or convicted? Abeg go sleep!
lhordspy:
He is a known twiiter !POB apologist inciting war, fakenews, lies, propaganda churning out Anti-Nigeria tweets among others through campaign for Ob!.

So happy he met his waterloo. So shall it be for all others !POB apologists on social media forming influencers. This will serve as a deterrent to others, media houses and their host like Rufa! Osen! and other clowns who takes joy in dishing out fake news and Anti-Nigeria tweets and comments just for likes, shares and social media validation.

You can keep up with your 'N!geria is a zoo' and ' N!geria will burn' nonsense... INTERPOL is around the corner. You will all pay for treason.

The Igbos you're fighting today, you'll need them to get control of Lagos in the no distant future.

That's why I want Obi to be sworn in, to bring sanity to Nigeria. I believe he'd win at the courts. If he doesn't, it is Nigeria's loss because Tinubu will not bring sanity.

You think Obi lost inspite of your enlightenment. Every enlightened person knows its Nigeria's loss.

You said there was widespread violence and yet think Igbos lost! Every time we vote for the right candidate and many Nigerians vote for the worst to spite Igbos, Igbos always win eventually because we adjust for the coming failure. Bubu was a case study

0monnak0da:
Did I win?Did I contest? You are losing focus
What are you talking about when did we discuss GEJ? and what has that got to do with this?
There was violence across the country people were killed and some states could not complete the election so what is your obsession with Lagos
why are you not worried about Anambra or with sit at home Monday
Was there not more violence in the SE?

Initially you said GEJ lost, we should get over it, now Obi.

Did you win?

As far as Lagos is concern, its going gradually.
Give it 40yrs or sooner if a sane commander in chief that will not allow thugs for election comes
0monnak0da:
First define what you mean by Lagos
All these bitter vituperations are becoming circular. Where is this love and concern coming from?
Obi lost get over yourself
Politics › Re: Which Igbo Man Exactly Called Lagos "A No Mam's Land" by DMerciful(m): 6:21pm On Mar 19, 2023
What has tribunal got to proving someone notable called Lagos a no man's land in contemporary times?

You only used it to rally tribal sentiments. People say Orji Uzo Kalu made the statement,
is he not in APC? Are you guys not supporting
him?
BeingAkorede:
You may go to the tribunal to defend that too

Moreover, what's the point in exaggerating?
Politics › Re: Which Igbo Man Exactly Called Lagos "A No Mam's Land" by DMerciful(m): 6:19pm On Mar 19, 2023
Are yorubas the only ones that developed Lagos?
Iamzik:
Jaja wachukwu
Nnamdi Azikiwe
Orji uzor kalu

And all their contemporary followers who believe they now own Lagos because they import containers because they bought a piece of land.

It's all over social media if you care to look. No Yoruba man will disrespect Igbos in the south East this way. I have friend offline who have called me insulting names despite the fact that I voted for Obi during presidential election out of my conviction. Only to turn around and tell me that they developed Lagos and they now own the land. Don't give what you cannot take
Politics › Re: Which Igbo Man Exactly Called Lagos "A No Mam's Land" by DMerciful(m): 6:18pm On Mar 19, 2023
Development to Lagos came by virtue of being capital territory and the resources to do so was and still 100% Nigerian resources esp Niger Delta
emmanuelewumi:
The Lagos capital territory was Lagos Island, Ebute Meta,Ikoyi and some part of Victoria Island. Present Lekki to Epe, Ikorodu, Ikeja, Mushin, Agege, Yaba, Surulere, Apapa, Ilupeju, Gbagada, Ajegunle, Badagry were under the Western Region

I am sure you have heard of boundary market at Ajegunle, that was the boundary between Lagos and Western Region at that axis.

We need to reintroduce History as a subject in our schools

Is Lagos a Yoruba name? All other Yoruba states have Yoruba name except Lagos

There is nothing the eyes will see that it will bleed. Una nor reach. Do you know how many Igbos that were killed in Kano since the 1940s? How many millions of Igbos in Kano today? Una nor reach

Full dose is still coming. You will cry last. You think you have mouth and can talk anyhow? You will learn humility.
Politics › Re: Which Igbo Man Exactly Called Lagos "A No Mam's Land" by DMerciful(m):
Lagos was Nigeria's capital from 1914 to 1990. Whatever semantics you use, doesn't change this fact.

The aggression towards Igbos in the last election has little to do with Igbos...its the realization that Lagos belongs to all Nigerians equally and if free and fair elections are conducted, tribalistic Yorubas will lose because sane Yorubas will always be on the side of the true progressives.

You're in the same position the red indians were long ago....they cant talk of owning America now....Lagos is following same trajectory

Now you understand what have been saying. When you celebrate most investments coming to Lagos and celebrate Lagos increasing cosmopolitan development, what do you think happens to the traditional preservation of Lagos?

You can't have your cake and eat it!
0monnak0da:
That idea helps you retain meaning in your life
I understand your plight
I am more positive
Nigeria ,all of it or most of it will grow and there will be even better and bigger cities/states than Lagos. That is not the best of us
If Rivers State or Akwa Ibom had visionary leadership we won't be having such small minded and mean spirited conversations
Remember Tinubu promised to transform Onitsha to Lagos grin
Politics › Re: Which Igbo Man Exactly Called Lagos "A No Mam's Land" by DMerciful(m): 4:23pm On Mar 19, 2023
Lagos State has federal government investments for almost a century, ofcourse those investments were made in Lagos much more than other states so expectedly Lagos should contribute more from the investments
0monnak0da:
Lagos state has always contributed more to the centre than it received back
Lagos city too is in the same situation

A s such states Like Ekiti,Anambra,Imo,Zamfara etc have been developed by resources from Lagos state more than Lagos received from them
This fact was established from colonial times

Ttalk:
Haha Wachukwu was the first Igbo man to claim Lagos is no man's land. Since then every Nyanmiri on social media has been taunting Yoruba about how they are going to take over Lagos. This is the result of some brainless Igbo who knows nothing else aside trolling the Yoruba
Politics › Re: Which Igbo Man Exactly Called Lagos "A No Mam's Land" by DMerciful(m): 4:06pm On Mar 19, 2023
There's nothing like SW constitutionally. Lagosians are oppressed actually by other Yorubas from other states
quickly:
They have been saying on the street and online for years and now that social media is everywhere it’s coming into peoples timeline.

Lagosians don’t want outsiders to the SW control their politics especially when those outsiders don’t let ppl control in their home state. Be u Hausa or Igbo

That is the simple gist

Read your quote and see why he used the term in 1947. Also, in your wisdon, people of 2023 should be held accountable for what someone said in 1947 out of noble intentions?
2mch:
First person to coin the term. An Igbo man for tribal and political reasons. Then I will keep posting the proof here. You people are not very smart. We Yoruba are excellent at documenting things.

If Igbos are easily intimidated, they wont be in their millions in Kano where they kill for a cartoon in Denmark. Lagos nor reach!
SenatePresdo:
I will advice igbos to stop voting in Lagos, it's not worth it.

If it's not presidential election, just stay in your house.

So much for one Nigeria.

If Yorubas want their states to be a one party state without opposition to checkmate the ruling Party, leave it for them.
It's their choice.

Let's go back and hold our state Governors extremely accountable, develope the East more.
if we do it in the East, other states would want to follow suit.
That's if they would want to.
