Lagos is lost to Nigeria long ago. Lagos belongs to all Nigerians equally!

Even if Yoruba nation is created today, it will NEVER include Lagos. Lagos was ceded to Nigeria and developed entirely by Nigerian wealth!

You cant do this thuggery forever
LegendHero:
We said what we said.

We have gone past the stage of trying to be politically correct. We are tribalists and we are glad at what happen in Lagos today.

We have shown the ungrateful neighbors who truly owned Lagos. Shebi dem dey always flex muscle online, why did they turn to sissies today across Lagos?

You pushed Yoruba people to the wall and Lagos has spoken. Go back to your SE states and convert it to glory. LP already won the governorship of some states there, support them and let them build Abia to be like Lagos so no one will intimidate you again.

With thugs taking over the election? If you guys have popularity, why not conduct election like civilized people?
Omoawoke:
All the places that LP won in Presidential with wide margins, APC has closed the gaps and reduced the margins
The places APC won in presidential, the gap has widened further.

It is all over, the yorubas really took this far to come out and vote in anger

Politics › Re: Peter Obi: The Worst Thing To Happen To Igbos Since Independence by DMerciful(m): 2:41am On Mar 19, 2023
Who is this nonentity?
naijapips04:
Peter Obi has single handedly pulled the Igbo nation decades back.

His singular irrational ambition has enthroned APC for at least the next 8 years if not 16. It has enthroned Muslim domination. Igbos have lost our at the center with no clear path of finding our way back.

Obi is the biggest loser in this election. Alex Otti in Abia state would have won even if he contested under Sowore's party. LP will only take Anambra state backwards. Soludo would be fighting more to stay then concentrate on working for the people. Obi is a dangerously ambitious he goat. There's greater polarization between Igbos and Yorubas. The worst since 1967.

It pains me because I'm igbo. No strong Igbo alliance in APC, PDP. The SS are taking our rightful position. The elections are over. We would go back to screaming marginalisation and Biafra while others reap from Nigeria.

Obi should never have happened and he should be taken down. His continued ambition is doing nothing but harm to the average igboman.

Again, mind your business, I'm Igbo from Delta too....precisely Ika but cowardice should be far from us

Why is everybody advising Igbos ? The Igbos know what they're doing, mind your business!
FatherOfJesus:
Stop Investing massivey in Lagos. You can see why from today's elections.

Take your investments home, people will always come there to patronize you.

Lagos is now hostile to you guys, the evidence is bold and glaring for everyone to see. The earlier you start thinking home, the better.

Your investment will always be save at home. Stop buying multimillion naira properties in Lagos. Make your money there, rent apartment or build something small, then move them to the east in droves. Don't be stupid, be wise.

Cheers guys

You're narrow-minded. Nigeria belongs to Igbos as well as other Nigerians
nedu666:
Oga this is not about intimidation but returning home to build ur home land. Why can't lgbos learn from others. There is nothing wrong with going outside to make money but ensure you return develop ur home with that money. Igbos stop buying land and building houses in lagos. Come home and build ur land. Lagos belongs to yorubas, east belongs to lgbos. My small advise to mumu lgbos
Politics › Re: Message To Igbo People In Lagos. by DMerciful(m): 10:16pm On Mar 18, 2023
Igbos cannot be intimidated anywhwre in Nigeria!

Igbos fought 3yrs war to leave Nigeria but since Nigeria insisted we must stay, they have to deal with us going forward!
elefind:
MESSAGE TO IGBO PEOPLE IN LAGOS.

One of the few lessons I learnt from today's gubernatorial election in Lagos, is that I have no reason to engage in local politics among the indigenous people of Lagos. I think this should be my last time to campaign for any governorship candidate in Lagos. I will urge all Igbo people resident in Lagos to withdraw from supporting or voting for any gubernatorial candidate of any party during gubernatorial elections in Lagos. We need to give the Yoruba people chance to select or elect whoever they like to govern them. We will support whoever they elected as their governor. Tribalism and ethnic sentiments are real in Nigeria.

If we want to campaign for a gubernatorial candidate, lets campaign for any candidate of our choice contesting for elective position in our various states of origin even though we lives in Lagos. This is not only applicable to Lagos but all the Yoruba and non Igbo states. Remember that we Igbo people has ability to relate with anybody even if they elected king Nebuchadnezzar, it is not our business but we will relate with the governor and still get what we wanted.

We might be tempted to support a particular candidate we felt is better than whom the indigenous Yoruba people felt is their choice. But we must resist every attempt to endorse anyone of them. It is time we start to disassociate ourselves from any Yoruba politician hoping to win an election with the block votes of Igbo people living in Lagos. Enough of this please. Let him go and convince his fellow Yoruba people to vote for him and stop hoping to win election with our votes. The Yoruba people must stop seeing every election in Lagos as contest between the Igbo people and the Yorubas.

It is also high time Igbo people begin to transfer their polling units to Southeast for those of us living outside Igboland but would like to participate in governorship election of our state. We will travel down to Southeast when it is time to elect president and the governors. But if we can't transfer our polling units to SOUTHEAST, let's stop voting during gubernatorial election in each state of the federation. But we can go out and vote for our favorite presidential candidate.

It is obvious that many Yoruba people that supported Peter Obi during presidential election did so because of fear of Tinubu's Muslim/Muslim ticket. They voted Peter Obi not because they like him, it is because he is more preferred than having Tinubu and Shettima in Aso Rock . If another popular Southwestern politician was contesting for presidency with Muslim/Christian ticket, they would have voted him than voting Peter Obi. Only few Yorubas are supporting Peter Obi based on his capacity and competence.

Today's gubernatorial election was a total waste of taxpayers money. This is not an election. Now I agree that NIGERIA is a failed state. Police couldn't even protect the themselves not to talk of protecting the voters .

As for me, let Peter Obi withdraw his court case against INEC and APC . Let him concentrate on snatching all Southeastern states from our good-for-nothing politicians and raise a crop of 21st century politicians that will govern all the states in Igbo land and turn them into livable and prosperous states.

Many Nigerians are not ready for real change. They wanted to change failures we have in Aso Rock as leaders but they never wanted to change same corrupt politicians operating in their states.

How many people believed in LP from SW from the onset?
Omoawoke:
Why cant LP have yoruba agents for an election in yoruba land.
Why are all people from one tribe supporting LP
If truly it is about competency, this wont happen
And you think we are stupid.

Check the results sheet and see all LP agents are igbos...in Lagos state faaa
Then you begin to accuse others of tribalism when you are the originator

Why will he be subservient to Atiku when its supposed to be southern presidency? Nigeria needs Peter Obi more and Nigeria has more to lose and not Obi.
seunlayi:
Your inability and ego that made you failed to secure an alliance with Atiku is what is hunting you right now. Anyways there is still some hope if the judiciary can still do something to order for another election........ If not, forget becoming a president in Nigeria... Tinubu will spend 8yrs before returning power to the north.... SS & SE eto need to wait for the next 16yrs to smell aso rock
Politics › Re: President-Elect Bola Tinubu Casts His Vote (Photos) by DMerciful(m): 10:23am On Mar 18, 2023
We just need the court to swap back the votes that was swapped for APC during collation and Obi would win
Throwback:
We dash you all Lagos votes, all Rivers votes, all Plateau votes, all Tinubu's votes in the SouthEast.

Guess what?

Tinibu still wins majority votes, and secures 25% or more in 27 states to beat the benchmark of 24 states.

Guess what again?

If those votes are given to Obi, he is still stuck at 16states with 25% or more. He will be 2nd behind tinubu with the 2.6m gap reduced to about 1.6m.

Peter Obi was never in a position to defeat Tinubu in a 4 horse race.

Know this and know peace.

Disdain
The attitude of a few maladjusted Nigerians who migrate to other countries and all of a sudden develop nothing but scorn for Nigeria.

The moment you felt you could call people still living in Nigeria as YOU GUYS is when you became a rascal.

Children were at play, and faking a cooking session before one of them went ahead to get kerosene.

Even in these NON-Nigerian countries you probably reside in currently, children do things they aren't suppose to do.
E.G. On the 3rd of March, 2023, in Houston, a 3 year old shot her 4 year old brother dead. A tragic incident in an abroad country.
I posted a screenshot from epa.gov for your reference below on more incidents involving children in your abroad countries.
Mistakes happen. That is even in the subject of the post.

I hope the amnesia you have developed, hasn't affected the knowledge you have about Nigerian societies, communities, and rural household not having access to gas? We also do not have (YET) a law mandating the use of jerrycans with safety spill/pour designs.

And did you really type a sentence calling for the restriction of "access to FIREWOOD!!!" in a country like Nigeria? Do you want people to starve to death?
