This writer is showing cowardice by trying to lump in christianity so it's not obvious he is talking about Islam. He should be bold and say it that the country was blacklisted due to the actions of Islamic fundamentalists!

While I condemn wife beating in its entirety but comparing the percentage of women who abuse men to men who abuse women is baseless. Fewer women abuse men because men are stronger, if women were stronger, they would abuse more. To buttress this point, have you seen how women oppress and beat their maids or female employees? They do it all the time, infact a lot of maids are rescued by the husbands
Mummymahdi:
Oga is not everything about sex, for God sake The man himself didn't deny beating her, let's say its only slap , is it justifiable to always slap ur woman? It's not fair. And till date percentage of women that suffers and die in the hands of men can't b compared with women that kills or abuse men. Some women are what u described while some are so positive

With 2yrs spacing you can have 4 kids in 6yrs because the last kid was just given birth to. I did have 3 kids in 4.5yrs, you don't wanna spend so much time during the childbearing age.

When I was dating my wife...she would travel hundreds of kilometers to see me in Lagos...my crib was more comfortable besides it's not easy for a woman to accommodate a man she is not married to in her house. Why all these unnecessary fear, she only need to inform someone where she is going.
mrblessed:
It worries me that you are the one who intends to embark on a journey of tens of hundreds of kilometres to meet someone you barely know. Let the guy take the risk if he values and the friendship. You appear like someone in need of love and attention and therefore vulnerable to be manipulated. Believe me, agreeing to visit him in Lagos was a poor decision, since you don't know him very well. Let him come to Abuja first, then you can reciprocate the visit after you have taken a good account of who is.

The unplanned event/work that scuttled your visit, in my view, is a warning signal to you. It is just that you feel you have to win this guy, no matter the cost -- despite some of the red flags you noticed and which you dismissed with a wave of hand. In this way, you have successfully made him the prize, and yourself, the chaser. Remember that you are supposed to be the prize, and not the other way round.

What's the big deal in sleeping with her? Is she a virgin? Life is all about risk! There are people who were never slept with yet dumped! Have you asked her if she herself does not want to sleep with the guy more else why did she send nudes?

During my dating years, a girl I took serious disappointed me exactly same way and it was a deal breaker for me because I was still trying to understand the girl and I concluded that she wasn't a serious person, I do not have time to waste.

Sex is just a biological exercise, not a big deal so lady should take the risk and be with whom they wanna be with!
dannex4adx:
I want to advise you like my little sister, if you like follow, if you no like don't follow! I know what I am saying. The guy doesn't love you, take it or leave it. if he really loved you he will cherish you. He was furious when you changed your plan of not visiting him again because he had planned how HE WAS GOING TO SLEEP WITH YOU LIKE A MAD DOG. believe me! He doesn't love you. He wants sex from you only. God used the change of plan to reveal to you the kind of person he is to you but your foolishness will not make you to understand it. forget about him or else it will end in premium tears.

This babe too wise......nor oppress your guy with too much sense o grin
pocohantas:
He made sense here. The only people angry he didn’t chase his wife (Lola) and stick to Psq are;

1)Red pillers- these ones are angry a man LOVES his wife.

2)Tribal warlords- These ones are angry the said wife is Yoruba.

The confused people in this whole drama would be Yoruba redpillers. They really want to uphold the bro-code, but their sister’s happiness is at stake here. So, for the Oduduwa people, they will pick Lola over the brotherhood.

I have seen guys who call NIGERIAN girls olosho, turn Voltron when you say IGBO girls are oloshos. It is really easy to get rational responses from Nigerians. Just throw in a little of everything; religion, gender and tribe- sit back and relass.

Allow MrP be. cheesy

Romance › Re: Lady Sues Boyfriend For Failing To Marry Her After ‘Wasting Her Time’ For 8 Yrs by DMerciful(m): 5:08pm On Dec 09, 2020
So what's the expected outcome? For the judge to force him to marry her? Or pay compensation with money he doesn't have?

She is just 26yrs old, many girls are unmarried at 26 so why time does she not have? The guy is just 28 and certainly not in a hurry to marry.
My issue with her is she got pregnant for him making her less desirable to other men. Why will you get pregnant and deliver for someone who hasn't married you yet?
saaphiere:
That is why most men won't make heaven. My annoyance is always that lie they do tell.
Most men change once they get in between your legs.
A man would love you wholehearted but wants he sleeps with you, he start seeing you as a burden.

I beg to differ.

She has every time to sue him. She never sued him for not marry her but for wasting her time. Time is the only unrecoverable resource in the world.

He didn't physically tied her legs but she tied her down with words. If he had open up earlier, this girl won't be with him for this long.

She did not sue him for diick. Read very well. She sued him for time wasted. Remember women are not like men. Women time is limited. There are certain things a woman cannot achieve when she gets to a particular time in her life. So for that time wasting, he deserved to be sued.

Your mom and sisters included.

Common sense would reveal to you women dress appropriately when the need arises. JovialJune:
What is it with nl males and lack of cognitive dissonance? What is it about my previous comment that you cannot understand? Are you slow or you just simple comprehensive skills? Or you, just like to argue baselessly for the fun of it huh

To be a feminist is not to deny hallotry exist! If you call excessive exposure dressing nicely, why dont you wear it to court, embassy, to see your in laws. Misandry under the guise of feminism wants to destroy the world!
AuntRose:
Out the the abundance of the heart your actions reveal itself. You can't resist what you love. You have the right to think whatever you like if I decide to dress nice, I have no control over your thoughts because you are solely responsible to take charge of it and your 'pervert-like' attitude.

Did she say men are 100% breadwinners? Your application of syllogism is pedestrian and grossly foolish. Its because you have a preconceived position that is why you failed to understand a simple comment
JovialJune:
You lots are the dramatic ones pushing a foolish narrative, for her to name all jobs and companies men own and head, isn't she indirectly saying those men automatically provides or are 100% breadwinners of their home? Are you dumb?
Family › Re: Ladies Why Do We Keep Deceiving Ourselves? by DMerciful(m): 6:28pm On Dec 08, 2020
Who gave men the chance? You want to be given something by someone and you think you're bigger than the giver?
AuntRose:
History have shown if given the chance women perform better in those aforementioned field. Ask yourself this first, have we been given the chance to proof if truly we have what it takes to be the 'superior'??

After marrying you come here to discourage younger ladies by teaching them to be misandrist under the guise of feminism. Are you happy in your marriage so?
JovialJune:
So I should come and tell you all the things I've bought for my husband, because you are who exactly?
Family › Re: Ladies Why Do We Keep Deceiving Ourselves? by DMerciful(m): 6:22pm On Dec 08, 2020
Common disease found in ALL men? This one is not a feminist but a misandrist!
AuntRose:
You just ended up saying nothing, it's this same mindset that makes you men bash women all the time. Superiority complex I must say is a common disease found in all men.
Family › Re: Ladies Why Do We Keep Deceiving Ourselves? by DMerciful(m):
Did she say men are 100% responsible for the home financially? Why are you being dramatic to push a foolish narrative?

She was countering someone that said women are 80% breadwinners. Why not read to understand rather than reading to react?
JovialJune:
So because men owns or head most of what you mentioned, means they contribute 100% to the family? Are you living in a cave? Or you don't know the stupid life most of these men live because they feel cos they have money, they have arrived? Do you even know what it means to be a bread winner?
Family › Re: Ladies Why Do We Keep Deceiving Ourselves? by DMerciful(m): 6:14pm On Dec 08, 2020
Its actually women that portray themselves as sex objects that why dressing sexy and revealing is what they celebrate
AuntRose:
Are you talking about the ideology of speaking up against the maltreatment of women?, the ideology of trying to equate the right of both sex is the best ideology any woman could have. You probably have a comfortable home where you must have been beclouded by the artificial love being shown towards you by the other gender. My dear, don't get drown in that artificial love as when it's time the beast in him would surface and I pray it won't be too late.

There's need to educate we ladies to see how we've been reduced by the other sex, they consider us as sex objects, deprive us of our rights, profess love but bring along hatred and shame. If truly you are sympathetic and patriotic you'll realise the importance of this movement. Free yourself my dear, Free yourself.

I refer to you as 'dear' because you're like me; a female. We need your support in freeing womanhood.

A healthy couple should have sex atleast twice per week!
thebosstrevor1:
This is impossible.

Nowadays, women prepare food for the whole week and store it in the freezer.

Check which laundry...the invention of washing machine and driers have made it easy to organise your marriage life.

Homework-employ a lesson teacher.

For bedroom satisfaction, when 2 couples are working, they hardly think about sex except on freedays

A man that knows himself determines his environment!

Guys, hustle o!
pocohantas:
Continue deceiving yourself. On this same NL we have seen people creating threads complaining of how mouth odour is ruining their dating life. You think those people do not know that they can get married within a week?

Even women can get married within a week. The question is, to who? Allow them read and learn. You are a man, you are not the one to determine the attraction. A woman would do that and a woman is telling you dirtiness is a turnoff.
Romance › Re: Ladies, Things That You Hate Seeing At A Guy's Place When You Visit? by DMerciful(m): 4:10pm On Dec 08, 2020
In a much as you're right that this thread should serve as a learning curve for guys who wanna attract females for relationships, the truth is guys are not single because of these. They are single because they are not ready. When they are, they will get females....maybe not the ladies of their dreams but sometimes better!

Men has that special prerogative to determine when certain things like relationship or marriage must happen. If he is determined to marry within a week, he can do it and still get a decent girl!
pocohantas:
The problem with Naija guys is they hate to take correction. Always acting like they are perfect and women are the problem. Ask them why they are single and 100% of the problem is Nigerian women.

Some of you are so dirty, the dirtiness can be seen right from your cars and fingernails. Body odour and mouth odour, arrogance and other turnoff.

Take correction, no way! This thread should be a learning curve for some of you, but you rather attack.

When we were planning my kids, we planned to have them quickly so I and my wife can move on. The difference btw the first and second 18 months and btw the second and third is 30 months. Within 4.5yrs, I'm done and if you see my wife you wouldn't know she has given birth with the youngest almost 5yrs. Unnecessary spacing is not good, the body's ability to get pregnant after several months of childbirth is by design!

Politics › Re: Shehu Sani Reacts To Jonathan’s Refusal To Blame Buhari Govt For Insecurity by DMerciful(m): 1:32am On Dec 08, 2020
See how you're twisting the narrative, which is deceitful in itself. You said the previous govt (and not govts) incurred N63 billion and now you're saying as at the time GEJ left office. Do not shift the goal post!

If the value of the value keeps falling, whose fault is that? Why can't Obj tenure be compared with Bubu? Are you making it seems the incompetent one is facing a separate challenge? You forgot ND militancy was highest in Obj/Yaradua time?
Bubu is a failure, accept it!
obailala:
The importance of verifying info before swallowing it can never be overemphasised. Unfortunately, many typical Nigerians either dont possess the capacity to do this, or just deliberately want to be lazy about it. No offense, but the fact that you jumped to conclusions saying I'm lying, without taking even a second to try and verify what I said (either by asking me to provide evidence or by running a quick google search yourself), that's a lazy trait.

Back to the subject, I said Nigeria's total debt as at the time GEJ left office was $63billion, I didnt say he incurred all of it, but under his tenure, Nigeria's total debt rose by over $30billion to hit that figure I mentioned.

Regarding OBJ earning less, that info is to be confirmed. But even putting that aside, it is total economic illiteracy to compare 1999 to 2020; there's something called the 'time value of money'. N1000 in 1999 does not have the same value as N1000 in 2020. That Nigeria's economy was okay in 1999 with oil prices of $10, that does not mean $10 in 2020 with be sufficient to keep Nigeria afloat in 2020. For starters, Nigeria's forex demand in 2020 is over 1000% higher than what it was in 1999. So next time when people try to compare crude prices in 1999 with 2020, a little bit of economic knowledge should be applied to that logic.
