I see Nigerian youths displaying the same mindset and playfulness in supporting Arsenal and Man utd to doing so with APC and PDP in Nigeria context. APC supporters will want APC to win at all cost even if it means Nigeria retrogress while PDP supporters will do same. As far as their party is winning elections whether fraudulently or not, they dont care forgetting that a fraudulent system can never bring development, its impossible. In other words they have sacrificed their country by displaying Arsenal Man utd rivalry even though this time it is real life that will impact generations to come! |

So why haven't an Igbo man been president since 1966 to 2015 before Kanu came if Kanu is responsible for damaging Igbo chances? Why hasn't the terrorism in the North perpetrated by Northerners damaged their chances. This general hate and envy for Igbos whilst using people who were not voted for as excuse is obvious to even the blind. Was Kanu voted for?which mandate is he holding? Charmingrascal: I keep on telling Igbos that the two major parties won't give an Igbo person their Presidential ticket but they will not allow us to talk. Most of them especially the ones on NL think they will get Presidency through threat and chest beating.
Tinubu is not your problem Kanu has damaged the chances of Igbos becoming the President of Nigeria in 2023 through his hate filled campaign and bullying of other tribes.
Many won't vote Igbos because Kanu has taught and schooled them on how to hate other tribes and no one can trust them with power. How can I even support someone who hates me talk more of voting him to hold the most esteem position of my Country.
This is the truth that many despise so much even tho they know within them that it is the truth |

The Igbos are too sensible to fall for your trick. If PDP presents a northerner to win back the presidency, we will support because only PDP has our interests ultimately. The only condition is if APC presents an Igbo candidate then PDP will present an Igbo candidate as well. PDP winning the presidency is the sacrifice all old Eastern region must work towards. helinues: Pdp, one of the most wicked political party in Africa.

Oyo state is bigger than The Netherlands yet they generate $20 billion from agriculture alone. 4 litres of groundnut oil is more expensive than 8 litres of petrol yet you do not need massive investment and environmental degradation to get groundnut oil. We need to go back to our cash and food crops like in the 50-60s Rossinky: The thing is there was a time when the oil revenue seemed huge, which was in the 1970s, when our population was 50 to 70 million etc. Even then, the money was too small, but for an African nation in the 1970s, it was still a lot of money, which was why we switched off agriculture and other pursuits.
But fast forward to 2020, and the oil money is just a mere pittance for the country, with its 200 million people.
Even out of that measly 35 billion dollar annual budget, I doubt oil and gas revenues make up more than 20 billion. |

When Ibori was arrested and prosecuted, even though he stole money from his ancestral land, Westerners applauded it so what is good for Ibori should be good for Tinubu MelesZenawi: It is almost samething. why saying deviating by saying lagos looting comes from ND oil....well I don't like to hear such statement before it will divert to insult.
If you can say that on this case, it means that one day you will tell ndigbo same thing that they are feeding fat on ND oil......which has already been said many times.

So the allocation of Lagos he stole is not from Niger Delta region ? candidtalk: No. You are the hypocrite. An unintelligent one to boot too. Which thieves are harmful the most in Nigerian politics? Those who steal the wealth of all Nigerians.
Loath Buruji Kashamu all you want but have the decency to leave the constituency he served as Senator call him out rather than you from Abia or Enugu be screaming for his execution while you don't even know or care to know the name of your own Senator in far away ala Igbo.
Same for Tinubu. His political career is limited to his leadership of Lagos as her Governor. What is therefore respo sible for this lynch mob desperation for his blood by folks in Enugu, Abia, Imo, Anambra etal while federal thieves who looted the commonweath of all Nogeria are hardly mentioned?
Yorubas are not fooled. We know this is all a move to demarket and devalue Tinubu before the Nigerian electorate.
It wont work in so far as many intelligent Nigerians exist who see through the hypocrisy and know the attackers of Tinubu, like Omokri, are the same who support Atiku who stole $16 billion, with his boss OBJ, meant for power projects yet Nigeria did not gain even one megawatt of power for that huge splurge of cash.

One thing for certain I know is that tinubu only governed lagos state and Lagos people should sign such petition....

Peter Obi came first in a class full of dullards, mediocrity is not celebrated in the western world.
Answer the following questions? 1) When Peter Obi does his annual medical checkup, which hospital in Anambra does he go? 2) When he turns on his tap is the water from Anambra Water Corporation? 3) Can he send any of his children to any of the public schools or university in Anambra? 4) When he flushes his toilet, is there an underground sewage treatment plan it is disposed off? 5) Can he move around the state without a security convoy? 6) Can Anambra state residents boast of 24 hour electricity? 7) Why did he refuse to conduct local government elections 8 ) Why was his convoy caught with N250 million naira cash on it's way to Lagos? 9) Did he give account of how he spent the state's monthly security vote? |
Politics › Re: Tribalism Needs To End: Appointment of Kaycee Madu As Justice Minister In Canada by DMerciful(m): 4:33pm On Aug 27, 2020 |
I will prioritize education over provision of public water supply. Water supply and hospitals are not really major challenges, you just wanna wipe up sentiments. An educated population can solve water problem easily. Besides did they lack water and access to medical facilities in Anambra during his tenure? The biggest most important thing a government can embark on is education and the records are there how Anambra became number 1 in education in Nigeria. Obi will so excel in the western world if given the opportunity, he is in a different league. I saw someone challenged you before on including Obi among bad politicians but you remained adamant. You have a mission to paint him bad but you're a lone voice in the forest, nobody will hear you! RuudVanNisteroy: Why did he refuse to tender government contracts to the public and conduct local government elections? Are you telling me provision of portable water and hospitals are not priorities in the 21 century. |

You are cherry picking because you wanna give a dog a bad name. There are laudable achievements during his administration. A government cannot focus on everything within its tenure but prioritize. He prioritized education, roads network and financial stability of Anambra among others with substantial savings before he left. If in the western world, he will perform excellently well. You are not being objective, it seems you have something personal against him but every unbiased observer knows Obi is in a different league, a decent one at that. RuudVanNisteroy: Peter Obi can never survive in the western world were transparency and accountability are the order of the day. He served for 8 years and couldn't even provide portable water! Refused to conduct Local Government elections which is against the constitution and only conducted it few months before he left office
In Nigeria were mediocrity is the order of day you can call is non provision of water, electricity, sewage treatment plants, open drainages, hospital that can attend to his needs meritorious service. He is no different from James Ibori,Orji Kalu,Bola Tinubu and the other politicians that turned the country to a failed state. |

You are making a very wrong assumption that if Biafra leaves, the rest of Nigeria will be intact. But a critical assessment will tell you that will not be the case. Atleast 5-6 countries will emerge like Yugoslavia Ghengiskhan: You are the one displaying ignorance here, if I said Biafra will be landlocked did I say you don't have river or can't have port ? Allow me to school you, those rivers pass through another country that country controls the access to the big water if that country refuse you use of it you can't go anywhere. The only way flight can enter Biafra will be through the big country again the big can stop Biafra from using it airspace which is completely legal. Is mainly because of these 2 reason I'm worried about Biafra . I am pro redrawing of borders because the colonial power put different people together for their selfish interest. I'm not against Ipob or Biafra I want them to succeed |

Politics › Re: South South And Biafra by DMerciful(m): 3:15pm On Aug 24, 2020 |
Niger Deltans are not one people, infact if Nigeria breaks up, Niger Delta or South South will be the most fragmented. Do you think the Ikwerre will be in same country with the ijaws and Urhobos? Heartbender: Please, leave these Igbos and their confused Biafra agendum. They always insult anyone who has a dissenting view. They're calling parts of SS "Igbo and Biafra land" and one even naively talked about merit based system and one ethnicity". The same problem faced in this useless shithole called Nigeria would spring its head. They think secession is only championed by them. Ask them of the first secessionist, Isaac Jasper Adaka Boro, and they're ignorant of what to say. No parts of SS is Igbo or Biafra. That you share same language structure doesn't make you same. In not so distant years ago, the Igbos were slaves to the South South tribes...and to date, they are mostly househelps or married off, pregnant, to very old men in the Niger Delta. If one region breaks off, other regions would automatically break off. It's common sense. Check former USSR. Also, the Igbos are landlocked. They need the Niger Deltans to survive. It's the reality. And instead of looking for ways to negotiate their survival, they spew bitter words at people who aren't losing sleep over them. Tueh |
