You're doing childish supremacy contest. Ask yourself how are you personally better than the average Igbo man interms of standard of living? If you're taking to Kwara alongside an Igbo man, do you think you have a higher chance of succeeding than him? If you're taking to Zamfara alongside an Igbo man, do you think you have a better chance of succeeding than him. You answer will tell you you wrote rubbish!
Oshigun:
Nigeria can't defy evolution so Igbos winning seats in non-Igbo States and vice versa will be the norm in future as Nigerians become more sophisticated and liberal. Yet Igbos will still lose out because the electorate anywhere outside Igboland will trust others more than Igbos. The tribalism, clannishness and hate of others bedevilling Igbos will always be their downfall. It is no coincidence that Igbos succeeding outside Igboland in political/public administration are "efulefu" (according to Igbos) like Igbokwe, Okorochas, Akabueze, Onu et al.

These people are the Igbos who are not clannish, tribalistic or hateful of other Nigerians. Naturally average Igbos don't celebrate or endorse Igbos like that. They hate and ostracise them for not being Igbo local champions. This is why these people find acceptance and relevance amongst other Nigerians once they alienate themselves from Igbocentric behaviour Igbos have gotten themselves a negative reputation for in Nigeria and beyond. Igbos will always struggle to lead others as they are simply not tolerant or egalitarian enough. You cant give what you don't have. This is why Igbos are jealous of Yorubas who are a people all Nigerians trusts, are comfortable with and move to live and work with.

Calabar was never NIGERIA capital
femolii:
kalaba was once Nigeria capital so you can claime it too.
Politics › Re: Open Letter To My Yoruba Brothers by DMerciful(m): 11:32am On Dec 29, 2019
Anyways, let's get to that bridge first! Igbos in SW must have dual citizenship! Migration has given Igbos huge advantages
jneutron4000:
I knew you will give that excuse of Igbos are in other countries, see wake up, in this case with Nigeria it is different and never the say, we are different Nations merged together to become one country, we need to disentangle first then if you want to come into Yorubaland my Nation you can obtain an entry visa, and we would know you are here.
Politics › Re: Open Letter To My Yoruba Brothers by DMerciful(m): 9:10am On Dec 29, 2019
Igbos are in other countries, does that stop those countries from being themselves? Even if Nigeria disintegrated, Igbos will still be in the individual countries, we are stuck together,
deal with it!
jneutron4000:
Igbos are hypocrite when it comes to regional government, they so not want that. I tell people that Igbos are more Nigerians than other tribes, they run to every other tribes space, and are not ready to go back cause they see it as home and Nigeria, even Peter Obi acknowledges it. If all Igbos can go back to the region and likewise every other tribes back to their region, then gradually we would dissolve the country or at least regional government. You Igbos will be in charge your own policing, resources etc.

If you know the number of Igbos in Abuja including investment? Do your own research.
leokid866:
In that case please go and claim abuja.....cause according to your line of thought it is for Nigerian built with Nigerian money
Politics › Re: Open Letter To My Yoruba Brothers by DMerciful(m): 3:37am On Dec 29, 2019
You are going in circles. Owing or not owning does not provide food for the owners, everybody staying in lagos must work to stay alive. And in any society, the hard and smart workers make the most money!
Osaze007:
Typical of Igbo to divert when dished the truth
Lagos belongs to Yoruba period
That’s why aboki took away political capital from there.

No amount of Igbo wishful thinking will change it
Politics › Re: Open Letter To My Yoruba Brothers by DMerciful(m): 3:26am On Dec 29, 2019
Lagos is the economic capital of Nigeria and anywhere there is money to be made, we are in.

All hail one Nigeria grin
Osaze007:
Go and do the popularity contest in abuja or kaduna in areas where Igbo are a sizeable community
Your not from a state of origin that’s Yoruba
and may I ask why is it only you igbos that are so interested in Lagos ?
I don’t see ijaw Hausa even we Benin that once controlled it
What is the lust on Lagos about ?

And did they tell you yoruba population will decrease in Lagos ?

If anything Igbo women are being absorbed into Yoruba culture
By the time half of your kids in Lagos are Yorubas who I turn will most likely marry Yoruba, half of your Igbo settlers in Lagos today will be wiped into Yoruba ness in 2 generations case in point Joe Abbah

That’s what Yorubas did with Nupe settlers.
Politics › Re: Open Letter To My Yoruba Brothers by DMerciful(m): 2:50am On Dec 29, 2019
You only mentioned elective position which I acknowledged but it's based on popularity. Most Igbos in SW speak Yoruba! When full electronic voting come in place, elections as you know it will change. You said whether Igbos are trying to revenge the Biafra war by collecting
lands? Stop being funny, there were a lot of Igbos in Lagos before independence including Ojukwu's father. The ratio of Igbos in Lagos will only increase unless Nigeria is balkanised
Osaze007:
This is why igbos face hostility where they settle . You don’t study the people you settle in
Maybe in Igbo land you people lack the concept of common wealth which I won’t be suprised as abia state once sacked non abia igbos from its civil service

Or your being deliberately mischievous because you think Yorubas contributed to your defeat in civil war so now you must “avenge” them by taken over their land

Yorubas see themselves as a collective
That’s why awolowo an Ijebu man can grow his influence across Yoruba speaking territories even in kwara
They don’t work with state creation

Same thing with MKO an Egba man

Same thing with Tinubu an Isale eko man who has grown his influence beyond Lagos to all Yoruba speaking states

A Yoruba man can go anywhere in a Yoruba speaking area and be into their politics
Akin oyebode from osun state was a special assistant in ekiti then moved to Lagos then back to ekiti

Amosun ibikunle is half ogun and oyo

That’s how Yorubas operate and it’s important to study that

So an osun or kwara man in Lagos is simply enjoying the perks of being a Yoruba man same thing a Lagos Yoruba will enjoy in osun or kwara

However that privilege doesn’t extend to you igbos Or non Yorubas basically

So you can’t compare an Igbo man from imo to a Yoruba man from ekiti in Lagos

Do you speak the same language with them !
No you don’t

And besides economic impact
Lagos has the most house of rep seats in Yoruba land
Any attempt an contesting for it is seen as a declaration of war on Yoruba interest .(part of the reason they dumped GEJ) was your incursion into Lagos politics
Hence the hostility you face among Yorubas !
And they will do anything possible to ensure it’s untouched

And if Tinubu becomes president you can be rest assured that lust your people have over lagos he will evaporate it quickly !

Politics › Re: Open Letter To My Yoruba Brothers by DMerciful(m): 2:17am On Dec 29, 2019
Nobody is dragging Lagos. But tell me which right someone from Osun State has ahead of someone from Imo state in Lagos? All elective position is based on popularity. Owning of houses is a matter of buying lands if you have the money and Igbos is well represented here. What else? Relocating markets is normal for development besides Igbos normally keep their eyes on the ball which is the money to be made!
Osaze007:
My dear all this gibberish your typing is a waste of my time
Yoruba will continue to own their Lagos be rest assured igbos won’t.
Politics › Re: Open Letter To My Yoruba Brothers by DMerciful(m): 2:11am On Dec 29, 2019
Nobody is dragging 'indigenousness' but constitutional provisions will be respected insofar the constitution is in place
Osaze007:
Yes something must give but indigenous is not part of it smiley
So all this your fantasy ain’t changing the original owners of Lagos the Yorubas
Politics › Re: Open Letter To My Yoruba Brothers by DMerciful(m): 2:06am On Dec 29, 2019
You forgot that even Hausas were over ran by Fulanis! Now they use Hausa-fulani to make themselves feel good. Hausas bravery is overrated!
Osaze007:
Loool Lagos you can only dream it your Rita orji was sent to the thrash can and Ifeanyi ubah that financed the election has been bankrupted
Lol

Legendhero this one shifted goal post from one Nigeria to former capital but they can’t contest in Abj

Simple say
Igbo is scared of Hausa
But not scared of Yoruba

I have edited it for you
Politics › Re: Open Letter To My Yoruba Brothers by DMerciful(m): 2:04am On Dec 29, 2019
Igbos are not facing hostilities in SW. Igbos can stay anywhere in the world without fear even in Borno. Nor be today!
Osaze007:
Every part of Nigeria is home to all Nigeria
Am an edo man and can settle anywhere I want the question is why can’t you yet this one Nigeria theory in Kano after all you claim to the largest group there ,

Anyways igbos will continue to face hostility in south west so far you continue like this
Politics › Re: Open Letter To My Yoruba Brothers by DMerciful(m): 2:02am On Dec 29, 2019
I have nothing against Yorubas, I like Yoruba people and I stayed in Ibadan(oluyole), Lagos, Ogun(Agbara) for 9yrs combine, but we need to be forward thinking. When you support Nigeria
to be a nation, something must give and some things are not easily reversible
Kapeter:
congratulations to you for havin few useless Yoruba liberals as friend. How is Yorubas ought to stay neutral in your biafra struggle. By staying out of Nigeria?

Well don't bother to reply, i'm tired going circles with you.
Politics › Re: Open Letter To My Yoruba Brothers by DMerciful(m): 1:56am On Dec 29, 2019
We Igbos in Delta state will join Biafra else our case will be like Igbanke( igbos in Edo) that is completely overshadowed.
Injera:
I have read most of your views from your multiple accounts.
And know THIS.
When the dust settles, only the 5 Igbo states will make up Biafra.
Have you seen any Benin man or even the Oba of Benin laying claim to Lagos State.
Have you ever seen any Ijaw man laying claim to Ondo State.
Politics › Re: Open Letter To My Yoruba Brothers by DMerciful(m): 1:54am On Dec 29, 2019
Calabar was never the capital of Nigeria! Nigeria came to being 1914 with Lagos as its capital!
Kapeter:
why don't you keep this same energy with Calabar too. And moreover, Kano too should be a consequence of wanting one Nigeria.
Politics › Re: Open Letter To My Yoruba Brothers by DMerciful(m): 1:52am On Dec 29, 2019
Lagos is a cosmopolitan society belonging to all Nigerians. That ship sailed when one Nigeria came to being. When full electronic voting comes in place, you will see how elections will change
Osaze007:
Unfortunately Nigeria is an indigenous country and lagos is part of Yoruba principalities, no amount Ig we own 98% we are the most populated etc will change it

Lagos is part of Yoruba land case closed
Politics › Re: Open Letter To My Yoruba Brothers by DMerciful(m): 1:45am On Dec 29, 2019
It's no wishful thinking, it is what it is. One Nigeria support over the years has consequences that cannot be wished away. Same one Nigeria that's making niger delta resources to be shared to all states gives Nigerians liberty to be anywhere and contest elections if they have the necessary majority
Kapeter:
You are stuck bro not we. I repeat we have our different agendas. Goodluck with yours.
Politics › Re: Open Letter To My Yoruba Brothers by DMerciful(m): 1:40am On Dec 29, 2019
But you understand Lagos was Nigeria's capital for decades built with Nigerian money. Ibadan was the capital of western region and it was Ibadan that was built with western resources. Lagos is Nigeria's investment for Nigerians
Kapeter:
this isn't how you write about Lagos now. Are you sacred of someone?
Politics › Re: Open Letter To My Yoruba Brothers by DMerciful(m): 1:37am On Dec 29, 2019
We do not have 1 agenda but you cant say Yorubas are staying neutral to Biafra agitation, you are not and in 1967, you never did.i have Yoruba friends, they preach one Nigeria all the time and I normally ask them what do you benefit as a Nigerian? They cant say but say we're better together!
Kapeter:
in all. What you are saying is that ibos have the right to be self determined ile having their own agenda but Yorubas can't have their own agenda. Why?

You want Aburi, keep chasing, Yorubas want something else, they chased or let me say they keep chasing. So how's that supposed to be a problem?

Must we have the same agenda?
Politics › Re: Open Letter To My Yoruba Brothers by DMerciful(m): 1:33am On Dec 29, 2019
Igbos have been in Kano since the 1940s....one Nigeria made Nigeria an estate of our forefathers!
Kapeter:
what about Kano too? Heard there are million ibos there too. Ibo can win election there too you know.
Politics › Re: Open Letter To My Yoruba Brothers by DMerciful(m): 1:31am On Dec 29, 2019
Under 1 Nigeria, all lands belongs to Nigeria.
To take back control of our land and resources, we are asking for Biafra where we will be under Briafran constitution. This is basic understanding!
Osaze007:
If there’s no Igbo land why are you asking for Biafra
Politics › Re: Open Letter To My Yoruba Brothers by DMerciful(m): 1:28am On Dec 29, 2019
We Southerners need to look beyond supremacy contest, when we achieve Biafra and Oduduwa Republics, we can compete countrywise like France and Britain but for now the focus is restructuring this contraption or balkanizing it. We are stuck together in a marriage we had no input in 1914 so the best is to work together to achieve the divorce.
Kapeter:
so ibos can have opinions, think and have a change of mind while Yorubas dare not, right? grin
Politics › Re: Open Letter To My Yoruba Brothers by DMerciful(m):
You're from Edo, know how great the Benin empire was and think how to make Bini great again. Be strategic, start planning towards a Niger Delta republic!
Osaze007:
Igbo should take the lead on restructuring
South will follow you
How is that hard to understand
Politics › Re: Open Letter To My Yoruba Brothers by DMerciful(m): 1:01am On Dec 29, 2019
Igbos understand that times have changed so restructuring is a good compromised besides a well restructured country is like individual countries in a large entity
Kapeter:
whao. So you mean people that were bold enough to asked for restructuring in the 90's during millitary era now doesn't ask for it anymore because they don't want to offend same fulani they faced as military?

So does that mean that ibos too doesn't want to offend somebody since you said, your agenda switched from secession to restructuring?
Politics › Re: Open Letter To My Yoruba Brothers by DMerciful(m): 12:59am On Dec 29, 2019
Igbos tried to do it alone in 1967 but failed. Yorubas has not attempted because they know it will fail. Asari is joining Biafra but we know the end game for him is Niger Delta republic but he understands they cant do it alone so he is being reasonable. Forget this your pride that Yorubas can do it alone, no single southern group can!
Kapeter:
are you by chance asking for help from Yoruba? At least be more civil about it.

If we are to seccede, we would surely do that, alone as usual.
Politics › Re: Open Letter To My Yoruba Brothers by DMerciful(m): 12:55am On Dec 29, 2019
Under 1 Nigeria, there is nothing like Igbo or Yoruba land. Supporting one Nigeria during the civil war has consequences. Currently, we have more Igbos in Lagos than Yorubas who are not originally from lagos. This is an effect of 1 Nigeria.
Kapeter:
ibos have always insisted there's no south which is true though well there might be, Yorubaland is just Yorubaland.

How come you were not ahead before Nigeria was created?

Where is the evidence for this aheadness

Yet you continue talking nonsense about Merit

Is it Medicine,Engineering? the arts IT or Agriculture??

When Wole Soyinka won a Nobel prize typically you said it was not merit it was a conspiracy against Ibos
Yorubas are your masters anyday
Not only that their land is blessed unlike your godforsaken erosion ravaged space

We know the inferiority complex that is part or your psyche and just find you entertaining?
Politics › Re: Open Letter To My Yoruba Brothers by DMerciful(m): 12:43am On Dec 29, 2019
But you know if everything is left for merit, Igbos will be forward not because of oppression but due to hardwork. Lagos is a matter of time under 1 Nigeria!

The Eboe man's mind set is very simple

He is envious and covetous

Ahmadu Bello saw this

That is how they managed the Eastern Region till the minorities revolted

They tried to impose their way of life on the Ikwerres and they were dealt a bitter blow when the war ended with the abandoned propert saga
Politics › Re: Open Letter To My Yoruba Brothers by DMerciful(m):
You're just a tribalist! Tribalism has never taken anybody anywhere so it wont take you anywhere. You keep holding unto Ironsi and linking him with Zik. These people are dead, you wanna die because of them? If Yorubas wanna secede,
we will support you whether you like it or not, not out of love per se but because this will help our own seccession
Kapeter:
so you mean 6 years wasn't enough to restructure a country? And really you also think Yoruba will ever ask for any help from ibo? That's sorta delusional. Ironsi only did ziks assignment. He couldn't have his way during creation so as not to seems he was asking for too much, his ways was later know which was why he sponsored that coup and made Ironsi do his wish.

Yoruba will get what they want alone, ibo is the last person Yoruba will ever need for anything. And since you've just confirm that we have two separate agenda now, can you at least get Yoruba out of your mouth on restructure matter?.
Politics › Re: Open Letter To My Yoruba Brothers by DMerciful(m): 12:29am On Dec 29, 2019
One part fight for restructuring is ineffective..I'm surprised you're giving this suggestion! All southerners must work together for it to be successful
Osaze007:
Igbo should take the lead on restructuring
South will follow you
How is that hard to understand
Politics › Re: Open Letter To My Yoruba Brothers by DMerciful(m): 12:27am On Dec 29, 2019
You want to secede but opposing Biafra? Biafra succeeding will enable your success easily but dislike for Igbos will make you oppose your own goal. Check how Yugoslavia broke up to about 8 countries. Once a significant part leaves, its easier for others to leave...be open to restructuring or Biafra
Kapeter:
on a normal day i don't reply drunks. But you replying me from Yorubaland forced me.

I will like you to know that both Ondo and Lagos are member of Dawn Commision, an organization that oversee the affairs of Yorubaland, don't you think you ijaws should bring the fight now before we secede with the two state? It might be too late for you then.
