You did nothing, your husband just said it from nowhere? Women always tell stories to suit their narrative. You always respect your husband, your parents, and yet he just preemptively say if you do something you've not done, this will be his reaction? Fear God o Modified You said he wanted you to stay in the village with his mum and sisters? Was it to permanently stay there or for a why until he settle? Was he traveling for work? Why did he ask you to stay in the village? How long did you guys date? ebyjoyken: Hi! Good morning all.
I have been married for 10 years, and I have never had any serious issues with my husband, I have never treated his mother badly. I love his mum just like i love mine. I lost my dad last year and my husband never showed any concern towards my family, i didn't call any of my siblings or my mum till date.
But recently each time we are having a discussion he keeps saying that anytime I challenge him that he will ask my children to insult me. This breaks my heart because i was never rude to my parents as child even as an adult. I have never spoken ill of my husband before my kids, so i don't understand why he keeps saying that to me. My children mean alot to me, i have invested so much in my kids and they are lovely children. I am scared that he might start poisoning their minds towards me.
Matured advice needed please. |

Its basic arithmetic, not even maths. What matters is that the gap is still 40yrs. Is like saying a man of 50yrs is 50times the age of his 1yr old son and when he is 100yrs, he is about 2 times cos the son will be 50yrs. Its arithmetic, so basic! Macgabe: Yes and that makes his uncle's age twice his age as against when he was 20years and the uncle was 60years which by division, is thrice his uncle's age.
the question is, why is it that his age reduce from thrice to twice even after another 20years added to their ages?
Hope this helps. |

According to IBB, all military regime are frauds however the person that overthrew a democratically elected govt subverted the wishes of the people to choose who govern them. Cant you see the damage state creation has caused by Illegitimate govts? When midwest was to be created, it was through a referendum but just 1 military man will just suspend constitution and do whatever he likes and you're here glorifying them especially Bubu. If it's a decent country like US, you'll pay for your treason no matter how long! wirinet: You are simply trying to dig yourselve out of a hole. You are now twisting the very definition of a coup to suit your hatred for just one man. If you term Buhari's 6 odd month's stint as military head of State as an illegitimate government, then what will you say of decree 24 of 1999 otherwise known as the 1999 constitution given by Abdulsalam Abubakar? Is it a legitimate document? Was the government of OBJ and others since then legitimate governments?
What of Gowon that created 12 states, Obasanjo that created 19 states, IBB that created 21 states and Abacha 36 states, are all the states illegitimate?
Even the government of Shagari was imposed by Obasanjo, an illegitimate government according to you. Can the Shagari government then be considered legitimate? |
Politics › Re: The Videos That Got Sowore In Trouble. He Calls For Violent Revolution by DMerciful(m): 8:01pm On Dec 16, 2019 |
IBB did not carry a coup against a democratically elected govt, he overthrew an illegitimate govt so that is technically not a coup. Only Nzeogwu and Bubu in Nigeria history overthrew democratically elected govts and Nzeogwu is no more so Bubu needs to pay for his treason! wirinet: You are not talking reasonably. Are you insinuating that of all the people that participated in a coup in the history of Nigeria, only Buhari should be brought out and prosecuted. Are you aware that a military coup often involves dozens of military officers? What of all the other military officers and civilians that had participated in the history of Nigeria? What of civilians that served and cooperated with military regimes? What of shonekan that was installed by IBB, a coup plotter himself.
You guys just seem to have an axe to grind with Buhari. Pure hatred, nothing else. |

It is an interesting and educative thread no doubt but you technically saying rule of law should be suspended and let the SSS and presidency be the judge and jury in their own case is preposterous. Kindly clarify, are you saying the SSS should not follow the rule of law? If they go to appeal court and again Sowore is granted bail, what should happen next in your wisdom? ColonelEmeka: You have been jumping around trying to force everyone not to bother yet you are so bothered which is why you are glued to this thread

So you saw only retribution? Yeye dey smell. If the SSS believes it has a case, why not go to a higher court? Mind you it took a long time after granting Sowore bail before he was released. They could have gone for appeal during that time. You see BH? Retribution for 1966 pogrom. ColonelEmeka: Go and launch the retribution
Life is so easy and it is as easy as you launching a retribution and we will follow you

Legally recognized by who? The Nigerian people or the constitution they suspended? Bubu is afraid of karma because he overthrew Shagari exactly the same time after winning reelection! There has to be retribution! ColonelEmeka: smh and wow to you.
Question: Can a government in power convict itself of the actions that brought them in power?
Know the place of the law before you lament some more please so you would not appear slow.
Nobody stopped any government from charging Buhari to court for Treason when he was no longer Head of state but they could not simply because his government became legally recognized after it succeeded. Do you get it now?
This is totally different from being caught BEFORE you could act. |

You said Sowore deserves to be convicted for intent but you dont believe Bubu should be prosecuted for actually overthrowing a democratically elected govt. Even till now he believe his overthrowing of Shagari's is justified. So what are we saying? A crime is a crime no matter how long! Has he apologized to the Nigerian people? Was he given a state pardon? By who? ColonelEmeka: I see you desire anarchy from treason. Well good enough for most of us, our laws do not take kindly to acts of treason with INTENT to overthrow a democratically elected government. Your emotions cannot change this so cry from now till 200 years, the outcome remains the same |
Politics › Re: The Videos That Got Sowore In Trouble. He Calls For Violent Revolution by DMerciful(m): 7:03pm On Dec 16, 2019 |
Sowore said yes not in the context of affirmation but that he is understanding Reuben, for him to continue. He said a lot of yes even when there was no question, just edging Reuben on. Watch your video very well ColonelEmeka: I don't even know where to begin with this ignorance overload you posted.
If you go around saying you are looking for a woman to rape, you will be arrested same way you would be arrested when you say you are looking for a woman to murder. They will first arrest you before they investigate you if you have ever raped anyone before and if found that you have then you face the full wrath of the law. INTENT has landed you in trouble and not action.
In Sowores case, he provided video evidence by himself as posted in the OP and like i said, INTENT has also landed him in trouble.
In the case of sudan the military carried out a coup which was due to the break down of law and order which lasted 8 months non stop and this was the same modus operandi Sowore wanted to apply in Nigeria as suggested by reuben Abati in the first video to which Sowore answered YES. |

What is bad if the military takes over? Did Bubu as a military man not overthrew a democratically elected government? ColonelEmeka: I can see you are not a student of History
The Sudanese Revolution was a major shift of political power in Sudan that started with street protests throughout Sudan on 19 December 2018[25][26] and continued with sustained civil disobedience for about eight months, during which the 11 April 2019 Sudanese coup d'état deposed President Omar al-Bashir after thirty years in power, the 3 June Khartoum massacre took place under the leadership of the Transitional Military Council (TMC) that replaced al-Bashir, and in July and August 2019 the TMC and the Forces of Freedom and Change alliance (FFC) signed a Political Agreement and a Draft Constitutional Declaration legally defining a planned 39-month phase of transitional state institutions and procedures to return Sudan to a civilian democracy
Was it civilians who took over during the Sudanese revolution or the Military? |
Politics › Re: The Videos That Got Sowore In Trouble. He Calls For Violent Revolution by DMerciful(m): 6:34pm On Dec 16, 2019 |
So if it can be proved, why is the SSS and presidency jittery? Why not allow the court do its work? ColonelEmeka: You really know nothing about the law.
Sowore had already printed outfits and hats with the revolutionNow logo on it and he himself admitted he already had 20 reps in 20 states and they all were ready to commence the shutting down of Nigeria.
Plus he had already started holding open rallies sensitizing people about the revolution. He did this openly and via media.
You see in Law, there is provision for the expression of INTENT in the commission of a crime.
Just like actual murder carries a heavier penalty than intent to commit murder.
This is why the punishments for treason for both action and intent are captured in our constitution.
Read
Punishment for treason
Whoever commits treason shall be punished with death, and whoever attempts or abets treason shall be punished with imprisonment for life or for any less term or with fine or with both.
Treasonable crimes (1) Whoever intends-
(a) To remove otherwise than by constitutional means during his term or office-
(i) The President of the Federal Republic; or
(ii) The Governor of any State of the Federal Republic;
As you can see, an intention is not an action but it still has a penalty. Plus a revolution does not need to be armed. Our constitution did not specify on arms but on treason in general. So you need to disabuse your mind from thinking this is about arms.
If you think it is impossible to overthrow a government without arms go and ask Sudan. The same Sudan whose example Sowore was following and wanted to implement in Nigeria |

Someone should remind me of the tittle of GEJ from Italy about his cluelessness.
People who justify Sowore's arrest because he contributed to Jonathan's loss are selfish and deceitful.
Jonathan's era was a free flow for corruption and his cronies ate Nigeria dry.

Are you a learner? Bubu has a mission since 2001 to promote Sharia but he is being caged by the chants of people who say he wants to islamize Nigeria so he is doing it by proxy. dalongjnr: The guy have been an Islamic warrior but I don't know that he is ardently subjected into imposing it on our constitution and education system. He better be warned that Nigeria is not an Islamic state and country. The presidency should rebuke him openly or else we Nigerians of other faith assumed that he's playing the script of the President and other Islamic elites. We Christian elites and all Christians can't fold our arms to see some Muslim in power turn our constitution to sharia constitution. Our naira and military banner are already in scripted in Arabic language, a section of our court is already named a sharia court, where's Christian court? They are now charging #20,000 for marriage certificate which is supposed to be free. 2023 is coming and if care is not taken, things will not be pleasant for all who hawk religion and nepotism on the head. We will go to all of our churches, villages and enlighten our people about the current development. All of our resources will be pulled together to fight those who want to turn this country to Islamic state. IBB TRIED IT,ABACHA ALSO TRIED IT BUT WE OVERCOMES AND OUTLIVED THEIR ANTICS. They all have agenda only deceiving us with the scam statement ( one Nigeria ). Nigeria is not one and will never be one,let face reality. That singular action of Nzeogwu and his coup team brought military rule that lasted eventually till 1999 from 1966! Voting Bubu is another disaster that could run till 2031! This is because the way he is putting his people in places, he may be deciding who goes where for a long time. Your perspective will change with time...na you go tire MrBrownJay1: if this woman is indeed good, and we have a great r/ship. why would you think that marriage is gonna improve anything?! in the contrary, marriage would RUIN more than it would improve. both of you need to be on the edge and understand that you need to woo, care, love and cherish one another for the rest of your natural life.... aka water that flower. sadly, marriage tend to make people become emotionally LAZY, sexually REDUNDANT... aka disregard that flower because you now own it.
there is only ONE way to keep a flame alive, and thats to never marry that person. marriage is like chains that would have people who dont love/like you (any longer) stay with your sorry aaass because of that bondage called marriage. if love fades away then you guys need to part ways....sadly married people would stay together because of that piece of paper. i certainly do NOT want anyone to stay with me out of pity (aka marriage) as i certainly wouldnt. |
