To Summarize what Nnamdi Kanu speech said, what he simply said to IPOB members is Bye-Bye.

According to reports, despite the hostility in the troubled area, the soldiers never fail to hold church service to thank God for the gift of life and pray for protection as they also never forget to bring their guns along in case of emergency.

CBN bans spraying of money In parties across Nigeria, says those caught are liable to be jailed of pay 50k fine


A new directive from CBN says mobile courts are now to summarily try those bastardising the national currency, the naira. The committee said those who “spray” naira notes at parties risk going to jail for six months or earning a fine of N50,000 after trial by mobile courts that would be deployed nationwide.



Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) spokesman Isaac Okorafor said the police and the Ministry of Justice would be involved in the operation, adding:

“If a celebrant is dancing and you spray him/her, you may go to jail from the party venue because the law enforcement agents will be there, waiting to arrest you.

It is the duty of law enforcement agencies to catch offenders and take them to court. Our collaboration with the police will intensify as we move to implement the mobile court for offenders.”



Admonishing Nigerians on how to use cash as gift, Okorafor said: “If you want to give, put the money in an envelop, and give it the celebrant. Let’s know that anybody hawking and writing on the naira will face six months in jail or N50,000 or both.”



Managing Director of First Securities Discount House (FSDH) Merchant Bank Mrs. Handa Ambah said people selling naira notes would be punished.



She said: “We need to let them know that this is money. The fact that you cannot spray money at parties does not mean that you cannot put money in an envelope and pass it to the celebrants.”

A man was apprehended today in Elele Alimini community in Emohua local government area of Rivers state. The man suspected to be a ritualist - pretended to be a mad man was intercepted by local vigilante group led by Commander, Mr Chidi Agi.

Items recovered from him includes: a small live snake (which was later killed), a car key, a pack of condom, sweets, voters card, affidavit, a wallet with N3,500 cash among other items.

The slim edge of Davido's uncle over Oyetola could arguably be said to have been a product of this young man's fame. He was obviously the man to watch. He was the crowd puller, he did what a hundred Engineers couldn't have done.

I want a son like Davido, who will be muscular enough to pursue the career he loves, even as the last man standing, when I think differently. Instinctively, my African self might give such a child a whole lot of slaps. I might punch him hard, or hand him over to Nigerian soldiers to help me beat the influence of village witches out. I'm afraid, I might even threaten to disown him. But, like Davido, I wish he remains stubborn, single-minded and hard-as-nails. I wish he follows his heart. I wish he also becomes a subject of global reckoning and one to be proud of. If his fame ends up making me a Governor too, I just wouldn't mind.
