Can someone tell him that minimum wage in the US is $7.50/hour (and they are clamouring to increase it) but it is 15 cents/hour in Nigeria and there is no hope of increment?

If the police were to completely leave the East, I strongly doubt the crime rate will increase commensurately.

Maybe Onnoghen should sue the CCB for violation of his privacy by releasing his assets declaration.

The number 3 on that letter, is saying that the National Assembly has failed to do the job of specifying what and when the assets declaration should be made public. However where was number 3 when Onnoghen was being removed.

Your friend has a poor understanding of tithes. If you give him money to pay tithes, it obviously is not his tithes but yours. I guess he wants to keep appearances by paying tithe when all is not well with him.

Stop flogging other people's kids, I witnessed a live incident during my NYSC, days a female corper flogged a Jss2 student, the guy just fainted. It took the grace of God for us to revive him. Turned out that the guy wasn't sick but hungry.

Many people are starving, you can always communicate your message to them in a more civilized way than flogging them like animals, cos if you end up killing the child, the same community you're serving wouldn't hesitate to give you the jungle justice treatment.

Back to the topic... during my NYSC, a female student came to me and asked me where I stay, I told her what does she want to do in my house, she told me she wants to play with my pénis (although she didn't call it pénis directly. She called it pipe) I looked at her for some seconds after she told me what she meant by pipe and asked her how old she was, she told me 11, I shook my head and told her that it's very wrong for a woman to see a man's pipe let alone play with it that it can lead to severe stomach ache or death.

This child gave me the shock of my life when she told me that she plays with her uncle's own and he loves seeing her play with it and suck it. Upon further inquiries it turned out that she's a victim of sexual abuse by her own uncle whom she lives with.

I reported the incident to a mature female teacher who promised me that she'll get to the root of the matter, guess what....she did absolutely nothing, instead the uncle came and threatened me then withdrew the girl from the school.

I kept on asking myself, how did this so called mature female teacher handle this incident that it reached this level?

Not every elderly person is as matured as one thinks, I really felt for the child, never saw her again. This incident still troubles me till today even though it happened almost a decade ago.

That's a painful story. An 11 year old. Some men should not be allowed to breathe the same air as me.

When it was time to go, dude said he will put me on bike so I don't have to walk back alone, I told him not to worry, that I'd walk (as I know say I no get Tfare).

This guy no gree o, was insisting. I said he should not worry. After the back and forth, this guy looked at me and said "ah, you don't have bike fare, why didn't you say so"? I now said I have bike fare, I just want to walk home. For bus stop, oga begin shout "where's the money, you must show me the money".

I just left him there and jogged home. Got home and narrated the gist to my mum and sisters, they laughed hard and the guy earned the name "show me the money".

That's how it didn't exceed the first date o.

May his soul rest in peace cause he's late now.

75 pounds for a 3 hour rally is £25 per hour. Convert that to Naira with present rates and we are talking about 17k.

So the government is willing to pay minimum wage of one month for 1 hour of show.

I wish this story was untrue, but with the antecedents of this government I am saddened by our reality.

But the problem with passport issuance is the systematic corruption in the NIS, not the number of passport office available.

The systematic corruption in the NIS would be difficult to eradicate.

They purposely make the passport process difficult in order to offer the "express service" for more money. Which money doesn't go into the government coffers.

Now sadly, the "express service" is the normal service. Will cost you twice or thrice the official cost, and yet will take weeks before you can get your passport.

Why doesn't immigration just mail the passports? What is the purpose of NIPOST Existence? The crazy thing is overseas they mail passport but domestically they forget how to use the postal services. The issue extends to pretty much all government documents because these dinosaurs refuse to think.

Sadly in the passport fees breakdown, we still pay for them to mail the passport to us. Yet we have to go to the office severally, and beg just to get it after 2 months of application and data capture.

Good for her. I like very enterprising women.
