Politics › Re: Ogbonnia Oko Enyim Resigns As Umahi's SSA Over Interference In His Family by dochenaj: 9:36am On Apr 01, 2021
If I get the story right. The man was LG Chairman now SSA to the Governor, and was replaced by his sister as Chairman. It is either he left the position for her, or they had squabbles and she contested against him and he lost, and Umahi compensated him with an appointment.

The man's father died, and for whatever reasons, his sister is challenging the brother's right to bury their father. Who knows if she is married? She still bears her maiden name, so she might still be single or one of those women that don't like to lose their influential father's name.

Now the matter gets to the Governor and the Governor supports the sister's action.

Now unless we know what reasons the sister has for challenging the brother; which move I must say is strange and ballsy considering it is Igboland, so that suggests to me that it must be something serious, we cannot categorically condemn Umahi's support of the sister.

He seems to be very close to the family, and I suppose the relationship dates back to before he became a governor.

This is the problem of one sided stories. There is always tendency to become biased.

I wish him well.

But if this man has any iota of integrity he should call a press conference and apologise to Nigerians.

He did not only disappoint those that voted for him but did far less beyond the expectations of those that never had faith in him.

Nevertheless, like I said earlier get well.
Integrity is one thing, Nigerian politicians lack.

Really, with all the problems wrong with Nigeria. This man is borrowing billions of dollars to finance a rail system that will be abandoned and fail in less than 10 years.

All the borrowing, is to create looting avenues, nothing more. A railway network is not top 5 on the list of Nigeria's problems, truth be told.
Politics › Re: For The Record South West Has Never Given APC A Bloc Votes by dochenaj: 5:08am On Mar 31, 2021
Olakunleyakub:
It was not all about the vote Southwest gave buhari but tinubu support and efforts in 2015 is the major reason why buhari is still the president today.
We agreed that North have the voting power and numbers but don't forget they never fully blv and supported buhari for 3 different elections not until tinubu and other prominent people came in and rebranded him.

Everything should not be all about hatred, bitterness N division pls.
You win elections in Nigeria by rigging not by the votes of the people. In 2015, Buhari succeeded in pulling the Northern bigwigs from PDP to join APC, and successfully rigged out Jonathan. Even people who remained in PDP because of convenience and inability to have control over the APC structure in their state worked in the background for Buhari from PDP. People like the then governor of Niger state.

Jonathan's attempt at rigging in the South could not counter the massive rigs in the North.

All the elections Buhari lost was because he never had the rigging machineries.
Christianity Etc › Re: This Dream My Fiancee's Mother Had Is Bothering My Fiancee And I. by dochenaj:
DoubleFingers:
N/B: This could be a bit lengthy, but please, read to the end.

I have been making preparations since late last year to settle down with my fiancee. I intend going to collect the marriage list this coming April to kick start the marriage processes.

My girl and I are very compatible in almost all ramifications you can think of. Honestly, she's the perfect definition of a supportive wife, well mannered and loyal to the core, just to say a few.

We now lived in different states, but we've known ourselves and have been seeing/dating each other in the same city between December 2016 and September 2019. I even made her to redeploy during her NYSC in 2018, to be close to me because of my intentions for her.

As usual, we've been praying and trying to seek the face of God to get divine revelation.

So on the 9th of this month (March), my fiancee and her mum visited a priest for normal pre marriage talk/counseling. The priest of course asked my girl some questions about me, which she answered sincerely. The priest then advised my girl and her mum to put everything in God's hand and be praying about it.

About a week later (around 16th or so), my fiancée's mother had a dream where my fiancée's hair was cut in the dream. In trying to understand the dream, my fiancee then called her cousin who is a Reverend, and the cousin told her that the dream is a bad dream, that it means "someone is trying to take her glory."

That dream compelled my fiancee and her mum to have two days midnight prayer (19th and 20th precisely) to cancel any bad dream.

Reaching today, my girl and her mum visited the priest again, to let him know about the dream. The priest then asked my girl about her understand of the dream. My girl said it means "widowhood." But my girl's mum was having a different understanding.

In summary, the priest then asked my girl if she had gotten a divine revelation, as to whether we're meant to be husband and wife. My girl said no has not.
Personally, I've fasted and prayed severally to God to show me reasons not to marry my fiancee, but I'm yet to see reasons not to.

Honestly, apart from divine validation which I'm yet to get, I'm yet to see reasons why I shouldn't marry my fiancee. And my girl have been worried since this afternoon, thereby getting me worried also.

Now my questions are:

1.) What does it mean for someone's hair to be cut in a dream?

2.) Is it 100% compulsory that one must get a divine validation to have a peaceful and happy marriage?

Please, your honest contributions will be appreciated.

Mods, please help a brother if this piece isn't in the right section.

And help send it to front page for more response.

Thanks.
She saw her hair get cut in the dream. She should just go to the salon and get a haircut.

Instead of waiting for her dream to be fulfilled figuratively, she should take charge and fulfill it literally.

Dreams 99% of the time don't really mean anything beyond a movie in your head. But however when you believe in the dream, you give it life and then it can take hold of your mind and rob you of your peace.

They have prayed against the dream and it's negative connotations. They should believe God heard that prayer and answered it.

The same man that campaigned on the promise to end medical tourism.

6 years into his administration, he is still travelling for medical checkup, not even a major surgical procedure, checkup.

And he is not ashamed of it. The day Nigerian politicians begin to feel responsible that's when out problem will change.
Education › Re: JAMB Registrar Explains The Importance And Why NIN Must Be Used For 2021 UTME by dochenaj: 12:34pm On Mar 29, 2021
NIN is doing a lot of lobbying to increase their relevance, and not fizzle out like National ID Card.

There is no reason for mandating the use of NIN for JAMB, "security reasons" my foot.

NIN usefulness to JAMB means they don't need to capture biometrics and can just use NIN biometrics in file.

If they are still collecting biometric data for the registration of JAMB then using NIN can never be justified.

Young man, I don't care what you think.

You guys foolishly say Igbos chest beat, but if you are honest to yourself, you will agree with me that it is Yorubas that make empty threats and no action.

Igbos without fear declared Biafra state in 1966 unprepared and even when threatened with war by Britain, they ignored and told them to bring it on and they fought the war to finish for 3 good years, that was in 1966.

Igbo soldiers who didn't like the way Ahmadu Bello was running Nigeria by misleading Belewa to be marginalising Christians and making attempt to destabilize Southwest in guise of coming to settle political feud between Awolowo and Akintola, decided to wipe out Ahmadu Bello for being a Muslim fanatic trying to Islamize Nigeria, they went and killed Bello and others in his own Northern state without fear.

Same Igbos rejected Buhari publicly for many years and dared him to do his worst and when Buhari felt he could do anyhow they made him incapacitated and just existing without knowing what's happening around him for dating Igbos.

Nnamdi Kanu announced that he is coming to bring down Nigeria in 2015, gave date and time of his arrival in Nigeria and did as he said and got arrested and while in prison he threatened Nigeria still and got released and they attempted to kill him and he escaped to their shock.

Buhari sent Nigerian Army that kept killing unarmed IPOB members and everybody kept telling them that they will push these guys to the wall. They thought it was a joke, what happenedhuh IPOB formed ESN that became more armed and deadlier than Boko Haram that challenged Nigerian Army and airforce openly that Nigerian Army had to run and resort to using jet fighters still no way.

Not long ago, you saw how security operatives were being murdered in Southeast without provocation even though nobody knows who is responsible for the killings but that's to tell you how dangerous things can get if you guys don't trade with caution.

Igbos don't chest beat, go and ask Hausa-Fulanis they alone understand who Igbos are.

It is only Igbos that Hausa-Fulanis fear in the whole Nigeria and that's why they are scared of Igbo becoming President, they are all scared that things might turn bloody for them. But they have nothing to panic, they should panic more if Igbos don't get President in 2023.

I pity who will be the President then because Buhari's vegetable condition now will be a child's play.

Igbo eshika shocked
"You guys", you say. You don't know me, so stop with your stupid assumptions.

Threatening to destabilize the country will only hurt you than help you.

Igbo's should try to build bridges with the rest of the South. The failed secession was because the rest of the South was not in unison with the East.

The coup and the civil war is the reason the East has fallen short of expectations. So I'll never boast of those. Ahmadu Bello was tribalistic but that was not enough reason to assassinate him.

You're entirely wrong. A revolution will still end up installing Nigerians as rulers, someone must rule.

The problem of Nigeria is Nigerians. So our only solution will be colonialism or at best neocolonialism.

No mincing of words that's the truth.

They can confirm it already how Buhari's government has been hell for him that he has lost sanity, cannot remember things, just existing for openly saying he will marginalize Igbos.

Let them compare it to what will happen when they deny Igbo Presidency in 2023. Hell will be better than Nigeria for them, no jokes because even the majority of Igbo elites calming down the situation will have no other option than to join the train.
Nothing will happen, and the earlier you know it, the better for you. The only way an Igbo man will win the presidency will be by a strong alliance with the West. If it couldn't happen with Zik, then it sure can't happen with the crop of Igbo politicians we have now.
Politics › Re: Ohanaeze: There Will Be No Nigeria If Igbo Is Denied Presidential Ticket In 2023 by dochenaj: 10:55am On Mar 29, 2021
Nothing will happen.

So you want all the political parties to field Igbos as their presidential candidates or you just want APC to do so, since we know APC will "win" 2023 again.

And by APC we are talking about the likes of Orji Uzo Kalu and Rochas Okorocha.

I for one will fancy an Osibanjo presidency. And if the Northern cabal knows anything, they should get Buhari to resign 6 months to the end of his tenure, hand over to Osibanjo who will by finishing Buhari's tenure, ensure he will not have a 2nd term, thus confining the South to just one term and the power goes back to the North.

It started with my card being declined and I reached out to Zenith bank on Twitter. I was told you add up a number on WhatsApp to chat with their customer care. I did and everything looked professional, honestly I had no idea that I was about to be scammed!

The scammer asked for my card details which I told him no, but he assured me that he is not a scammer. I sent it, but the card still didn’t work so I transferred my money to my dad’s account hoping to use his card, but the customer care kept disturbing me that they want to help me resolve it. I had to beg my dad to transfer back but he kept forgetting to transfer back and I was pissed!!!! I kept calling for hours till he finally did tonight and the customer care wiped off my account after I sent the OTP codes to him foolishly, thinking I was chatting with their staff!

After my account got wiped off, it was then I realized the mention on my Twitter was from a dorm account on Twitter!

I am in so much pains guys!

Scammers why did you do this to us?

Tell me, if something bad befalls your family will you be happyhuh

I take all the blame...I have always been a security conscious person, but today .....

Idlot before you embark on a major project you should hire a consultant to tell you the pros and cons you don't come on a public forum and be asking foolish questions.
When it comes to web development we have server side and client (browser) side programming languages. All web applications normally incorporate both technologies.
It's foolish to ask which programming language is best for a gambling website. All programming languages can perform similar task.

You can use Python, PHP, .NET, perl etc to build the application. Even reactJs or Angular can do the job 100%.
