Romance › Re: My Girlfriend Always Feels Guilty After Sex. Will Her Shame Go Away? by dochenaj: 10:30pm On May 13, 2021 |
Sebastine1994: My girlfriend has a lot of shame about physical intimacy. I think she enjoys it, but she feels guilty afterward that we’re not married, like she is betraying her very conservative upbringing. I love her and we have talked about getting married. She thinks that will make physical intimacy more enjoyable for her. But I’m not sure. The idea of spending my life with someone who is unhappy after every time we are intimate makes me feel hopeless. I find it surprising that Christians and church people can commit fornication at will and not feel guilty about it. I even recall one "pastor" who recorded the various sexual encounters he had with a particular lady and would go ahead to leak said video after the lady left him. I bet you're a Christian and go to church regularly. |

BluntCrazeMan: Keep Rotating. Continue Rotating. .. .. You think that the system in Saner Climes was not enforced with sane laws and excellent law-enforcement methods. You think that they are not as bad as we Nigerians when left in a lawless situation?? .. Or you never asked yourself why most Nigerians become very law abiding when they get to these same Saner Climes?? We can argue for centuries, and will never come to a compromise. So I'll rather not start. Howbeit, that's my take on the Nigerian problem, and of course you're expected to have your own different view. It is allowed. |

She would have left the relationship long ago had she not been so invested sexually and financially.

This would prevent corruption of your officers and alleviate the stress on the applicants. Interestingly payment is online, but because of the systematic corruption in NIS. It is government money, they used your mom's account to launder it.
You must insist that the money be sent back to the account it came from.
Any transfer to another account makes you an accomplice to money laundering.
By the way, the money does not belong to you, and you have no right to use out of it. |

Niger republic is an annex of Northern Nigeria. The earlier you accept that, the better for your heart and BP over news like this.
Interestingly, it favours the Northern ruling class as more number translates to more political power. But it significantly disfavors the general masses as there is a competition on already meagre resources available. This is why the North will remain deeply enmeshed in poverty.
Sadly, the masses will never see what is happening cos the ruling class has used religion to justify it. And yes, everyone is blind when it comes to their religion especially if they are even averagely fanatic. |

1: What will happen to the millions of citizens that don’t have a smart phone, do you mean they are not eligible to vote?
2: This will make ringing more easier and cheaper for our stupid politicians. All they need to do during election, is to change the voting figures directly from the database that is storing this votes or edit the voting software to their own Favour
3: people will move from house to house with guns and force people to vote for their candidates. No need for this self because the second option is far more easier and cheaper.

In Nigeria what we have is rigging not elections.
Don't deceive yourself by thinking your votes count. It doesn't and never has, right from the days of Obasanjo.
The one person that could have given us elections not heavily infested with rigging was Yaradua. And I don't see any politician with that kind of goodwill in the crop of Nigerian politicians that we have now. |

CSoul: (Created this new account to post for a sister)
Please help advice a sister in confusion.....
Background:
"I reconnected with my old school toaster who always spoke marriage and love. Got serious in 5 months. I've met a lot of people from his end within this period. He shows me off. Introduction was done and wedding date fixed."
Issues: Traditional is barely a week away; yet she's bleeding and scared of the future because of her discoveries:
1. The husband to be has anger issues. Ok, he's all nice and good when in good mood. But once something triggers him, all hell is let loose. The trigger can be a simple missing his call(while at work/meeting). No amount of sweet talk or explanations calms him down.
2. The shocker is that he cheats/has a fuckmate living nearby. She discovered this with evidence from their chats and hasn't been herself. The chat is detailed description of their exploits right up to the present and future plans how they'll continue after he's married. (From same chat, the other lady is aware he's getting married. He tried denying it; when it didn't work he started making excuses/begging he'll change.
3. He doesn't want any third party intervention in their affairs, not even counseling.
She's scared of the future and yet feels stuck as court marriage is done already, most preparations have been done(publicity and most of other physical arrangements), both for the traditional and wedding.
Kindly give your mature advice; she'll be reading every bit of it. (Admin kindly push to front page) A failed wedding is better than a failed marriage. A word is enough for the wise. This marriage will crash in less than 2 years except the lady is willing to remain unhappy for the rest of her life. |

udoji2021: Life is sweet generally but can be cruel to others.
I was once a happy guy with a bright future but marriage is practically killing me. It all started when I become sick and was admitted in a hospital. my aged mother was the person staying with me and was responsible for my everything. inside the ward, another patient was with this very beautiful girl that was very hard working, my condition was critical that my mother will have to bath me sometimes, this girl now started helping my mother and to a point, my mother will leave her to be taking care of me and go home.
I become close to her, but i use to think that she just pity my condition and wanted to help so I did not think of having any relationship with her. I was later discharge and went home but since we exchange our contacts earlier, we use to talk often. I asked her one day to visit me which she agreed. To my surprise, this girl brought some provision for me and slept over in my house. she continue visiting till one day, I told her that if i was strong and capable, I would have loved to date her. she confessed instantly that she was really interested in me and did not care about my condition. According to her, she was born in a poor family and can handle the pressure of been broke, that she will be the happiest person if I love her back the way she loves me. I was moved with her words and to cut the story short, we started dating.
Her parents were highly against the relationship initially but when they become tired of us, they allow us to do our thing but never involve them if something happened. fast to December last year, we got married. I was not even able to pay 1h to her parents. she just pack her things and join me in my house. we were the happiest couple on Earth till things started going north.
First, we agreed to do many things in the farm against hunger next year, we started with melon farm, then groundnut and yams. we were still on this and I must confess that she is hard working but pregnancy came and this girl started misbehaving, she will not follow me to the farm again and will not even cook for me. I dare not complain cos she will insult me seriously. sometimes, I will tell my sister to cook but this girl will not eat it because the food is bad.
One night, she sent me out of the room in the night that I must get bananas for her to eat. I suffered that night till I got it from one woman on credit cos I was not having money on me. last month, she was sick and visited one private clinic, I was to give her 10k for her treatment but did not have the money so I told her to give me 4days to look for it, there was no insult I did not receive that night. I have to sell my yam seeds and pay. infact, I'm tired of this life presently cos i use to think that she will help me but the reverse is the case now.
Please I need advice on the way forward, I want to run away from home but she is pregnant, her people refused to help us too cos they warned her before.
pls advice me She was the perfect woman before and after marriage irrespective of your poverty till she became pregnant. Don't you understand that, the pregnancy and all the hormones is making her that way? Be patient with her, she will get back to her normal self soon enough. |

Amotolongbo: If a student stole the teacher’s handset, the best way to let the parent be aware is through summoning the parents to the school or sending the message to the parents to get them informed. Not through the report card
If any Teacher has any resentment for a student, it is better for the teacher to make a comment on the report card solely on academic performance of the student and leave the personality alone. Some report cards have a part for you to report on social performance of the child. It is not all academic. |

FunkyAlhaji2015: Your reply is funny to me. Let tell you something, the head of service, the minister of health and the minister of labour all medical doctors, they came together to this agreement. They know this is how things are been done in advanced healthcare systems we wish to copy. In the US, you do a college degree in some biological science related course, and after that you get into medical school which takes 4 years. At the end of the 4 years, you apply for Residency positions in specialties of your choice, and go for interviews and at the end of the day you select what programs you are interested in and the hospitals select the candidates they are interested in. The NRMP matches candidates to programs. If you're matched you can begin your residency program and depending on the specialty the years could vary. The first year residents are called interns, and they are doctors and are paid. The US system has not even a slight semblance to the Nigerian system nor is it anywhere close to what is being proposed now. In conclusion, interns are doctors and they are paid. (Maybe you should google "Salary of Medical Interns in the US" and see what that brings up.) I took the time to enlighten you because there is the possibility that your ignorance stems from misinformation and not willful ignorance. |

FunkyAlhaji2015: Oga doctors on NYSC are not house officers. You google to understand housemanship is first.
Secondly Nigeria is one of few countries in the world that pays house officers. House officers are doctors in training, they do not perform any role in the hospital without supervision.
In the U.S. students pay to enter housemanship. If doctors are demanding we treat them like it is done in other climes then we must start from somewhere. Almost all the things you typed there is wrong. Do more research and get the facts before you embarrass yourself with false assumptions. |

Science putting smile on people's faces, while religion keeps limiting people's ability . No where in the article is IVF mentioned. Rather it was reported that the woman was in disbelief of her pregnancy, that alone contradicts IVF. Now does that woman look like someone that will spend upwards of 2 million on IVF? And if she can, why wait till she is 64 years to do it? As a medical doctor, I can assure you that no specialist will allow a 64 year old woman carry an IVF pregnancy. Any pregnancy beyond 35 years or possibility of twinning is a high risk pregnancy. Now think 65 years and IVF. No science will ever recommend that. |
