DjHypno: Hmmnn... The hardworking tribe again? Lol!!! These omo ibos are ole, barawo. They claim they are hard working, most of them are thieves. Even in church, when you are discussing issues that surround money, things that you will see as a sin an IBO man will tell you there is nothing wrong with it. If you go to some towns in the south west, the IBO business guys there have been found in the roofs of some homes in the night trying to rob people of their valuables. Some were killed why some were released by their brothers in the police to whom they make returns after their night raids. Ibos are very rare generation, when it comes to money don't trust them, if you do you are a dead man. |
Romance › Re: Guy Reveals His Shock Discovering He Had Twins Ex-gf Said She Had Aborted by dollarlander: 1:38pm On Jun 08, 2015 |
FlirtyKaren: Story as shared on TheHumansofLagos by our guy pictured below:
I have two daughters (twins) I didn't know existed till recently. I wouldn't have known if someone had not told me they saw a picture of my 'ex' with 2 girls who looked exactly like me.
I got a girl pregnant 14 years ago when I went to Abuja to spend the holiday with my Sister. We were both teenagers and inexperienced, we spent so much time together and one day one thing led to the other and we had sex. It was both our first time and we didn't know what we were doing.
When her parents found out, her senator father threatened to kill me if they ever see me, they said they would rather abort the pregnancy than let their daughter have a baby for someone from a poor home with no background. Some days later she came and told me her mum took her to a hospital and the pregnancy was terminated, I cried so much that day. She also told me her dad was seriously looking for me to arrest me and they asked her to say I raped her but she refused.
Apparently, they lied to me about the abortion, there was no abortion. She was sent abroad and she had the babies there. They are still abroad and I don't know if they even know about me.
http://www.lailasblog.com/2015/06/guy-reveals-his-shock-discovering-he.html You are interested in the kids because the girl is from rich home. If the parents were Aluwe, you won't come here claiming aborted foetus. Man work harder and become famous, since those kids look like you, the will be the one looking for their biological father. |

And what remains of cockroach if not to kill it. Nigerians you better think well and support the quest by the lower Niger to pull out of the sh.it hole called nigeria. I think Yoruba will need chief FEMI fani kayode to speak for them this time, that chief can talk anything from his head without thinking. |

This is to say that more men are going to die of rat poison. If this is an antidote to yerimanism I think is a good way to go to stop this madness of forcing child into marriage that destroy their virgina.
If you are not ready to marry and you are forced into it, just rat poison the mugu and tell the court you did it to free yourself from illegal marriage. A precedence has been set you will be set free. But make sure you are not 18 years old o. |

I am telling you and I will keep telling the truth, PDP is dead.
Another party will emerge. This party will be built up by the same aggreived people that are joining APC, because it will not be business as usual. They will decamp from APC and form a coalition under a new political party that will work against the central party. The name of the party will not be PDP, for PDP will not sell the ideal of the new party.
But PDP is dead. |

Christianity Etc › Re: This Madness On Marriage Has Got To Stop In The Church. by dollarlander: 2:22pm On May 17, 2015 |
freshvine: An igbo girl from a Catholic background will find it difficult to marry her brother from the pentecostal family but will not hesitate to marry another tribe even if the lover is a Muslim.
Just in case you know, there is this unhealthy rivalry between Anambra and Imo state to the extent that females from the former hardly marry the later.
This marital stigma cut across religion, tribe and denomination. Waho, I used to think this only happens in Yoruba land. An ijesha will not marry an ijebu or Abeokuta. There is this hatred across Yoruba people about where they marry from. Its so endemic. For the church things, the best way that can stop is the government to regulate churches. The rate at which individuals spread church like mat is serious. No pastor wants to release his member, especially the female but a male is free to bring a girl from anywhere to the church, though to an extent. Everything is about number and money. But OP needs to do more research, its not all church that does this e.g. RCCG. But in CEC, it is a taboo for you to go outside the church to marry, even at the top level of the church they are almost close to incest. |

Mrs0J: Lol am yoruba by marriage, still learning the language.
My brother as a woman, i love good things ( shoes, clothes, etc) but not at the detriment of my family's future. You reason like ur bro( my hubby), so please make iyawo to understand, heart to heart long night talk will solve the problem. @Dyt MrsOJ and @Dyt, I want to thank these characters that were involved in supplying real life stories of theirs and others that contributed wisely. Someone said Nairaland is not the place to get solution to my question, but I want to tell that person that he/she was wrong. I think Nairaland is the best place to get solution to issues like these because you avoid telling your stories to people, family, friends or Pastors that know you and can use your case to spite you in your presence or absence. I don't know MrsOJ and she doesn't know me. She may even be my neighbour but the e-partition between us makes it easy to share my mind with you guys. So, after all you peoples ideas, bashings and wise suggestions I sat down with my wife and I realised that I need to do more, it is not easy. In my mind I decided to add extra 40k to her monthly allowance but I told her 20 which she greatly appreciated and was very happy about it. There are problems that are easily solvable if due diligence and round table solution are applied. I was able to understand what I did not see that were happening. And I also see that, since I have been getting pay rise to be able to reach 500k salary, which is still continous, my wife also deserves pay rise. So people, thank you very much for your input God bless you. And the person that is collecting below 200k, you will be promoted to 1million naira per month. All of you will experience economic turn around that will change your stories for good. It is already happening, those who stole Nigeria money are already returning them and courts that will accellerate probation of corrupt politicians and government officials are being setup by the President elect to collect substancial stolen funds. Ah!!! Patience Jonathan da'ran(she is in trouble). Thank you guys God bless. Thread continues please, don't close it let others come here to learn and drop their first class experience. |
