Dont be naturally aggressive.
If you can tell whatsapp to be paying me, I will do just what you said.

You can buy him Tasly king's capsule. #6,000 per bottle.

1 Capsule per day, two hours after supper for 12 days.
There are marketers everywhere in Nigeria.

But be prepared for him so that you will not come back here to tell us the man will not allow you to rest at night, because the rod will punish you severely.

Oga wetin telemundo do u? I personally dont watch it but u keep mentioning it. I think ur main beef with ur wife is that she does not have a job.
Before i comment or make suggestions y not say where u live so pple can know where to start from. What type of school your kids go to so we can measure the standard of living they are used to.
U mentioned in one of your posts that you pay your parents their salary every month. Biko how much and what job are they doing for you? Do you also pay your wifes parents too or she takes from the 100k? or you dont think her own parents also deserve salary?.
Why not decide how much u will give her for personal upkeep and give her that for like 2 months while you buy everything the home needs so u will have an idea of how much is actually spent then you start your discussion from there.

I am sure If you communicate your fears to your wife with these points she will understand your POV and have similar vision.

Goodluck.
I can understand why the bolded is not necessary tobyiu because you are a telemundo person, that's why @oloyede yabbed you the other time.

Spot on Op
Madam OJ, I thought you are a Yoruba woman when I read Yoruba in one of your post. The interpreter is okay. Thank you very much.

This thread has put joy in my mind because ideas keep flowing from people with good will. But there are some young wives here that have not faced reality of life. They behave and talk like SHELL people wives. They dress to kill to show hubby get money, travel all over the europe for shopping, not knowing to them hubby is taking loans to meet up with the wifey needs. When oil company has the husband to go and relax at home, the money they pay the hubby minus the loans may amount to nothing and BP will rise, few months later mortuary, obituary.

People save, save, saveeee

1. Why did u tell her how much u earn?

2. You are giving 4 people 100k wat do u use the remaining 400k for?

3.its a month. Not a week 100 k is Just fine if not work harder and earn more
1. There is danger in your wife not knowing how much you earn. It means you are two separate people living together, only come together for conjugation release the white or creamy fluid, depends on the type that erupts from you, into her and go your separate ways. And when people see you outside you behave as if you are one. You think you are deceiving people you are deceiving yourselves because time will soon tell.

2. I pay my tithe, I give my parents their salary, use some to change wardrobes for the four when necessary and save the rest to buy lands. I want us to buy more properties that's my concern here. We are not living in an economic stable country.

3. Bros I'm working harder. I don't sleep most of the night solving problems on my computer to ensure things are okay. I bought a laptop that has 8 hers battery life with light up keyboard so that I can cut down on generator fuel.

Bros, 100k too much o for now because a time will come I may not be able to work long hours it is the one I invested today that i will fall back on later. By then if I can't provide will she understand why?

The OP is free not to divulge However We need to understand the root cause.

To be honest, N100k out of N500k in a month is not much for a family of four.

If the OP feels it is too much due to the standard of life they live, it could be that his wife is passing a subtle message...

Is she tired of staying at home? Is the OP tired of her staying at home etc. etc.

I am sure they will be able to reach a compromise If they work at it.
Una wan dig yam to the bottom of the pot, e ba!!! The one I divulged is okay. We. Live in one of the three most referred cities in Nigeria.

The fact I said my wife is not working is not to spite her, she is well educated and came from a well to do family. Just that her job hasn't come does not mean that she is not making effort to get one, I believe that hers will come soonest. But just that I want her listen to.me when I talk. We need to cut down every angle.

See most of people in Nigeria banking industry are loosing jobs and more will still loose their jobs because these institutions are cutting costs at all cost. Even oil and gas industries are doing the same.

If you are a CNN or aljazera person and listen to world views on economy you will understand you have to rigorously save for terrible days a head. If you are the kind of wife that all your life is on telemundo and these romance things that are not real especially given Nigeria economy you are due for a doom, because you don't know what is going on at the economic analysis of things, everyone is just saying things are not easy.

For instance beside the house I live is a 2 plots of land with uncompleted 6 flats. The owners are couples who had worked in the bank before but lost their jobs almost the same time, they have four kids, if you see them you will dash them money. The only grace they have is that they are able to build small rooms on the second plot and managed to roof the main uncompleted building.

Life is not easy for this couple. Imagine couple who were working, talk of only one working in this instance.

What I want is that we deny some pleasure so we might not suffer in the future.

Imaging saving 30k a month from that 100k and using the remaining money buying properties that appreciate over time. Land as asset are becoming expensive yearly. Its better to invest on landed properties than putting the money in the bank. Estate appreciate banks go on distress and your money also distressed.

If at all anything happens you can still continue your life without thinking of suicide. In my own case life continues, I've been through worst situations that did not end my life so from experience until a man dies there's hope to succeed.

People reason with me o. If you make bad monetary decisions people will spite you at the end. G

Mrs0J:
@ OP, you have gotten enough reasonable advice here. Pls communicate with your wife.

Am a mother also with a family of 5. I spend 60k per month on feeding, sometimes it will be enough, sometimes it won't cos my kids are picky eaters. Plus we mothers and wives knows how to prepare good quality meals but we tend to cut down to manage things. Your wife don't need to burn fuel all the time, rather channel the cash to other areas. From 8am I drop my kids to school, i get so busy with house erands that i don't have time to watch TV or take a nap.( i don't have house help).
Pls discuss with your wife, a wife should help her hubby to manage and build the home.
MrsOJ, I think this is a mother. I will get back to you.
What I wrote here is not as bad as some are extending it, but what I want us to cut down on somethings so that we can invest on properties. I want to get points to present to her to agree with me.

People have said so many good things here I really appreciate.

MrsOJ please what of buying dry food items that does not require refrigerator so as to preserve money on generator fuel.

Thanks.

I don't think 100K per month is too much however I think the OP believes it's much/ the wife is not prudent solely because the wife is NOT working. That's the truth boy!

That feeling of resentment is gradually building up, it would do your wife a lot of good to get up and find a job.

100K a month
Foodstuff, including children's lunch pack : 60K
Herself : 20K
Petty stuff she won't ask u: 20K
If she spends that 20k on herself and hair do I will be very happy. I fight her every time to even go to salon to fix her hair.

If I correct her dressing it is fight. That's why I find it difficult to say let's go out. I need you peoples advice, I'm actually seeing reasons from all yju guys are saying. Thanks a lot.

Dear Nairalander, this is a personal issue I need you peoples help. It is not happening to my friend or someone else but me.

I need views from everyone, especially married families.
I earn, as an average income of almost 500k per month, even when I was earning 300k plus I've been fighting this issue. My wife demands for 100k monthly to manage a home of four people, myself, she and 2 kids less than 8yrs hold.

I'm the one working she is not. Telling her to find a way to stop spends on fuel for generator but each time I raise this there will be terrible fight.

I have an opinion that we need to reduce our spends on grocery items so that we can build up enough savings for better things. She talks about savings but she finds it difficult to deny herself some pleasure.

I want to take some decisions but I think I need to seek popular opinions if I'm wrong and I'm not seeing reasons with her or my perception is wrong about what to be spent to keep the home monthly.

I need some monthly home expenditure break down, with this size of family, to help me make the right judgement because the marriage is looking to me like a fundamental mistake exists somewhere.

Please nairalanders I need your opinion, from especially mothers who are in marriage and understand what I'm talking about, because I'm the one paying all the bills. I also pay for all the TV dishes in my her for her to watch telemundo with generator.

Please what do I do. Thank you.

Pls moderators, I'll be glad if this hits the front page I need candid opinions before I run into irreparable mistakes. Thanks.

Re-painting the house for another stooge to occupy, the Tinubu story continues in Lagos, what a shame.

By 2019 Lagosians would have permanently leased that house to the Tinubus.
2019 sees senator Remi Tinubu occupying same abode, the saga continues.

Tinubu would rank as the longest serving governor in Nigeria, ruling Lagos through proxies and stooges since 1999.

Thank you and God bless
Your observation is duly noted
But we can't just walk out of nigeria whilst nigeria has financial gains to be made from our presence.
Don't let's make that mistake, remaining in Nigeria will continue to be the greatest risk to generations to come. Whether you know it or not, an average Hausa Fulani kanuri sees igbo man as an infidel therefore hates you with a passion. The only side of Nigeria that is fair to all is the southwest people and these people have come of age politically economically and educationally to know what's best for them and who they want to stay with.

The financial gains to be made from our presence holds no ground considering the level of world technology advancement. Think of it Nigeria importing rice from Burkina Faso, sugar from Brazil and so on. The economy will reorganise itself and everything will fall in place, then necessity will be order of invention. New thing will replace Igbo absence and every body will be intact.

Do you think Nigeria will not import everything from Biafra republic if we are allowed to go on our own, they will even import our beautiful girls in marriage and you know our girls like good things now especially money. Bros forget about oil in our land, there's abundance of oil and gas in Yoruba land that have never been explored which awolowo, having see on the future, told them not to mention there's oil in that region. And the world technology is moving away from oil towards safer energy.

The only problem Igbo will have is the land mass sizeable to take them when Biafra republic is created.

Nawa o

All dis igbo posts are starting to annoy me

And before u judge

Full blooded
Sorry @tzoracle I beg to defer from your opinion. Someone rightly said "you cannot know where you are going to when you don't know where you are coming from".

The recently concluded election in Nigeria requires Igbo nation to know where they are going, because they seem lost inside a country they called their own. Now they are at the mercy of APC to have fair sharing in this new Nigeria. A big gamble has been made.

So there is a need to know where they are coming from, whether from Israel or Europe or mars. This will help them to make concrete decision if they still want to stay in the Nigeria colony or migrate to another colony.

What I will suggest we do as igbo nation is either to be part of the central government or go to international court to ask for an absolute state of Biafra, which was the original ignored country before 1914 amalgamation.

Because APC will definitely deliver good democracy and the alliance between North and southwest will continue to deepen because the south west wants development which will come from APC government, as the APC governors have done there. And this union may last for the next 100years, so what will be the end of Igbo nation in another 100years. We need to know where we are coming from.

So please, any information you can lay your hands on, place them on Nairaland. This will help us to know more about our history.

I've worn glasses for well over a decade,it started with 3 diopter of short-sightedness(-3)from which it got worse (-6) by 1999,it has remained so ever since. It hasn't been easy and I sure would like to see the world in HD in my lifetime and not this'. 'NTA' standard my eyes offer.
My Perils include:

1)SPORTING DRAWBACK: if you think zinedine Zidane,Eden Hazard, leo Messi are the most creative footballers then you've never seen me play, but with my eyesight I had to cool down on my football career.Infact in my University days I rarely get chosen in teams sad

2)ROMANTIC DRAWBACKS: There were times a got a 'moment' with some hot chics and as I was closing in for a french kiss my glasses sets up a awkward moment instead and my chance is gone! The glasses also give me this "he's cute but he's not man enough since he wears glasses!!" from girls.

3 )DOMESTIC/EVERYDAY CHALLENGES: I can't fall asleep swiftly without looking for a means to drop my glasses somewhere,if I use contacts my sparkling eyes turn red the next day,if it's raining/foggy my glasses becomes completely misty and unlike windshields, spectacles don't come with wipers sad

4)MISCELLAENOUS: job opportunities-i studied civil engineer but I have fewer opportunities to prove myself as a good site engineer due to stereotypes

* intimidation- I was driving around Orile in Lagos when one lanky dude tried extorting money from me,merely because he felt I was weak/gentle not until I broke his nose did he realise I wasn't weak, had to spend N2500 on his treatment sad

Nairalanders please is there any sort cure for shortsightedness? I heard of many side-effects in relation to the laser option!
Bros, go to ago iwoye in Ogun state. There's a Catholic church establishment that has state of the earth facilities for rues treatment. It has been there since 70s and Catholic church has been funding the facilities to the latest obtainable any where.

The issue is that few Nigerians know about it.
