Umemulo is not a South African ceremony, but it's a Zulu ceremony because we have 10 different tribes here in SA. Even though our languages may be similar, our cultures are different. Even our traditional dance moves are different with each tribe.

In my culture we have what we call Koma, it's for kids as young as 8 to 12... But if you've never participated in the ceremony, you can still go even when you're older because there's no age limit. It's believed that if you've never participated in the ceremony, then you can't get married to someone who has.. You'd have to go to the ceremony first before getting married to the person.

As for my mother, she was just being dramatic and overprotective, what she did has nothing to do with culture.

It seems like you guys always assume that all black South Africans are Zulus,or their cultures are the same as Zulus, I don't know what is it with you guys and the Zulu people... Maybe I should open a thread and list all the South African tribes for you guys.

There was one of my senior in secondary who happen to be two years my senior in class that guy made me sit under his desk and teacher was teaching in class ,the teacher saw me but could not ask me to come out because my school is very violent but after few years I join the Army and one day i was just working pass and I saw some trainee and he was part of them and normally they should pay compliments to a superior that is passing behold the wicked senior in secondary hiding his face and he was shivering and saying good morning sir I just said hi and move on .

I have often contemplated why women prefer simple minded men who are focused on earthly and socially recognizable successes over men with depth and intelligence.

Women like men that are predictable and easy to manipulate, they avoided smart men because they are highly intuitive and a smell fakeness from a mile off.

Even when a smart man is rich he still looks poor because he is more focused on generating more wealth by challenging his intellect and competing with other intelligent people. But women love a man that wears the latest designer wears, takes her to dubai for shopping... etc

You hardly see a smart man being passionate about pop culture, women love a man that is a diehard manchester united fan or wizkid fan.

Smart men take calculated risks, are reflective and self examining, they will examine the consequences of their actions. Women love a man acts before he thinks, imagine this:

You are taking a walk with your girl one night and suddenly 5 guys with machetes starts walking towards you to attack and do you harm

Smart guy will run with his girl. Because smart guy is already aware of potential outcomes and will not be impulsive in tge way that females find attractive.

But women want a man that will fight and defend her. yes, fight and defend her bare handed against 5 men with machetes! A stupid man will succumb, he will act before thinking.

Smart men rarely belong to any well-known, mainstream category of people, that means being an unknown brand and women will never take a risk with an unknown brand.

Not being easy to Manipulate is the main reason why women hate really smart men.

I completely disagree. I think Marriage is nowadays underrated. One Nairalander wrote that while his wife was in ovulation, they had sweet sex over the weekend till Tuesday only for her to go and sleep in a male coworker's house over the next weekend lying to him that she was at her friend's place. Luckily for him he saw the said friend at a petrol station across town from her house. He did video call to his wife, she picked the call and set the camera very close to her face and lied again. She later confessed she was at a man's house but nothing happened . She planned on staying there till Sunday but came back home on Saturday after the husband's suspicious call.

You hear stories like that and you understand the moral decay in the society. Before, girls with higher body counts simply dated more men before marriage. These days it's about pure immorality. These girls have seen more dicks than you can imagine. How can such a person stay in a monogamous relationship talkless of marriage. Many girls have been shown used for rituals but it doesn't deter them.
If magun is normalized today, I argue that before the end of this week, there will be more younger unmarried women than younger unmarried men somersaulting or barking like dogs before going to the great beyond.

I feel that MAGUN should be used more these days. It will stem the rate of infidelity and general immorality in our society. It will bring back morals especially to kids of the next generation because as of 2023, societal morals as regarding sexuality are in the gutter.

I think MAGUN will make randy men to keep it in their pants and married women getting used to be satisfied by one male appendage. If possible, the MAGUN should work both ways. Any woman that sleeps with a married man will be seen to somersault or bark like dogs.

A big YES. You're not doing yourself any good by being an introvert without a girlfriend. Here's the catch. Take good care of yourself to become likable physically and develop friendship skills. Then girls that like you will come around, then you select the few you prefer. Don't fall too in love with just one. Have many but be careful of your sexual health.
This will work more for you if you live in a mixed hostel with a lot of girls in it.

Now about those telling you that you'll spend. It's not true at all. You only spend when you're not likable and you have to compensate with spending. Campus girlfriend is entirely free, in fact it comes with other benefits sef.
It's only in the campus that you get the luxury of having a lot of young pretty girls at absolutely no cost.

Believe me, having girls in your life wouldn't make you have bad grades. I'm telling you from experience. Fine-tune yourself and enjoy all that the campus has to offer. AFTER SCHOOL, IT BECOMES A DIFFERENT BALLGAME.
