Who or Which church or Family is serving God truthfully and wholeheartedly today? one reason why I don't like the Bible is because of many contradictory things in it.
one parts says, God is good only (James 1:7), another says can be recieve good from the Lord and not expect evil also? (Job).
The God of the old testament is totally different from that of the new testament. why this inconsistency everywhere? Jeremiah said the thoughts of God are good and not of evil to give us an expected end, yet this same God sends pestilence and destruction to the same people he claims to love. what's all this nonsense.
There can only be one reason and it makes sense to me.
1. God is good and hasn't changed.
2. The people of old misinterpreted the message of God. They spoke lies on God's behalf.
3. Sin, destruction, pestilence comes as a result of people ignoring God.
4. People claim bad things are of God whereas it is the consequence of their actions.
5. God doesn't have any variableness of darkness, only good is found in him.
6. An unbeliever who thinks is better than the believer who does not think.
7. God has been so grossly misinterpreted in the Bible.
I wish people knew God as I do. I tell you, he is the best personality ever, a very humorous being, the most intelligent being in the universe, ordinary humans can't understand him and he isn't bothered but still bothered in the same way.
