There is no other thing called witchcraft than what Nigerian government is exhibiting here. You cannot beat a child and at the same time prohibit that child from crying. We should know that we only have one life to live here on earth, and the dream of every man is to live a good life and enjoy whatever life has got to offer. How can a government that did not give you any grant to support you during your formative years, did not make the country favorable for you to practice what you studied, government that has its heads travel abroad each time they have the slightest health issue? How can they have the temerity to hinder you from pursuing a good and better life in a better clime where you can be appreciated? That is pure WITCHCRAFT.

This Fulani government has been releasing many Boko Haram members and other killers by their own volition and without any court judgement backing them. But here they are, flagrantly going against court order to release Nnamdi Kalu. These are very vindictive set of people, they don't care whether towing the path of political settlement of releasing Nnamdi Kalu would assuage the tense situation in South East at the moment and bring back peace in that zone. All they care is, they want to show their superiority and authority over a certain people.

PoliticsRe: Femi Adesin - Igbo People Calling Nigeria Zoo, Shooting Civilians, Security Agen by DonXavi(op):
This is hate speech coming from a whole presidential advisor. Let me ask him; How many people were killed in 2011 when Buhari lost to Jonathan? Still Nigerians voted for Buhari in 2015. How many people including military and police men have been killed by Boko Haram and the Fula.ni bandits? With all these atrocities happening in the North, does it now mean that Northerners shouldn't contest election again in Nigeria? What's the fuss about Igbos for? There is nothing like platter of gold here, they have waited patiently and now is their time. Where is the conscience of pastor Femi?

We have to show the Igbos that they are not second class citizens if truly we are committed to one Nigeria. Justice, equity and fairness is what binds a nation together, in any nation where there is lack of any of this, peace can never be sustained in that nation.
PoliticsFemi Adesin - Igbo People Calling Nigeria Zoo, Shooting Civilians, Security Agen by DonXavi(op):
Igbo People Calling Nigeria Zoo, Shooting Civilians, Security Agents But Want Presidency On A Platter Of Gold –Buhari’s Aide, Femi Adesina

He added that the people of the South East region have not been marginalised by the Buhari-led government as claimed.

Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity has condemned the rising cases of kidnapping and killings in the South-East zone.

Adesina said this in an article on his official Facebook page on Thursday titled, “I Miss The South East We Used To Know.

He added that the people of the South East region have not been marginalised by the Buhari-led government as claimed.

The presidential spokesperson also berated those calling the country a zoo, shooting security agents and civilians but expect leadership on a platter of gold.

He said, “Some people glibly say; it’s because we’ve been marginalized. Really? So, the medicine for headache is now to cut off the head? Is that not self-immolation, and cutting the nose to spite the face? And if you talk of grudges, is there no part of the country that doesn’t have its grudges? So the next thing would be to visit murder and mayhem on society, killing the very people that are allegedly being shortchanged? It doesn’t make sense.

“In my days in active journalism (I return soon, mark my words), I had always written that there must be fairness and equity in how leaders emerged, particularly for the position of President. The South East, just like other parts of the country, must produce the number one citizen. But it must be by a combination of factors. Good politics, building alliances, negotiation, deft footworks.

“You can’t call the country a zoo, shooting security agents and civilians to kingdom-come, and then expect leadership on a platter of gold. It’s not done anywhere in the world. Yes, there would be a President of Igbo extraction in this country, but it won’t be by intimidation or bullying. We will all team up to produce such leadership.”

According to him, each time he reads about killings by gunmen in the region, he goes into the doldrums.

“I get mortified by the sheer waste of precious lives, the wantonness, malevolence and viciousness of it all. And I mean killings on both sides. The innocent law enforcement agents, mowed down in cold blood, and the misguided, brainwashed gunmen, who more often than not do not get away with their evil acts. MAD. Mutual Assured Destruction. That’s what usually happens.

“I then tell myself. This is not the South East we used to know. What happened? How did grace turn to disgrace? How did young men, who used to be moved, motivated by sonorous songs and choruses suddenly become bloodthirsty hounds, not distinguishing between friends and foes, good and evil? How do you claim you want to liberate a people, after first shooting them to ribbons? How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou cut to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! (Isaiah 14:12).

“The South East we used to know had Voice of the Cross. Oh, what a group of gospel singers! It had Sir Warrior, Oliver De Coque, Oriental Brothers, and many others. They would sing, and inspire you, and transport your mind to nobler things. Now, the soulful tunes have given way to the staccato sound of gunfire. What went wrong?

“Let Reverend Sisters in the Convents, with their white attires sing those Igbo gospel songs, and nobody could convince you that they were not angels direct from above. Let the men, old, young, play the drums and other musical instruments, sing in baritone, and heaven would come down, and glory would fill your soul. Let a preacher from the region take the pulpit, and he intersperses his sermon with heavenly songs, which the congregation would respond rapturously to. That was the South East we knew, and not the current killing fields.

“On Tuesday, this week, a combined security team of soldiers and policemen was stationed at Obeagu-Amodu, along Amechi-Agbani road in Enugu South Local Government Area of Enugu State. The security agents were the husbands of some women, fathers of some children, or they themselves were grown sons of some fathers and mothers. They had dreams, visions, even expecting Christmas soon.

“They committed no crime. Rather, they were helping to keep society safe, keeping criminals at bay. Suddenly, like fiends from the bottom of hell, young men in two Lexus SUV and one Sienna Bus emerged, and opened fire on them. About three soldiers were said to have been killed, many others wounded, while the attackers themselves were shot in return, two were killed, and the others fled, with gunshot wounds. They would probably go home to die. Over what? For what reason? Futility. A pipe dream. Hundreds of such attacks have happened in the region over the past two years or so. Ironically, most of the people gunned down were indigenes of the area. Killing the same people you claim you want to liberate. It makes no sense.

“The following day, at least five soldiers and a civilian were reportedly killed along the Umunze-Umunneochi road in Orumba South Local Government Area of Anambra State, by gunmen who had lay ambush for them. Madness. Sheer lunacy.

“I was at a church service somewhere in the western part of the country recently. The chorus leader was obviously Igbo. It showed in his choice of songs, his intonation, and the dance steps! And could the young man sing, and dance, to boot. Nightingale. The expansive altar was not big enough a dance hall for him. At a stage, he jumped down from the elevated platform, and pirouetted round the auditorium. He carried everybody along, and we were in the Spirit, singing and dancing as if we had no other care in the world. That was an archetype of the South East we used to know. Godly, enterprising people, vigorous dancers. What then happened, that a good number of the young men are now ogres, fierce man-eating creatures, in the name of a security network? Oh, I miss the South East we used to know.

“Sometime in June last year, Dr Joe Nwodo was being buried in Ukehe Nsukka area of Enugu State. I was in the team nominated to represent the President at the event. The delegation was headed by Labour and Employment Minister, Dr Chris Ngige. Mr Geoffrey Onyeama, Foreign Affairs Minister was there, Minister Sharon Ikeazor, and Senator Ita Enang, too. Come and see the armada of security convoy that led us into and out of Ukehe Nsukka from the Enugu Airport. Eight vans and buses in front, another eight behind. Filled with soldiers, mobile policemen, men of the Department of State Service (DSS), all armed to the teeth. Yes, there was a palpable sense of security, but I couldn’t help but ask myself; over what? Just because we were coming to represent the President at a burial ceremony? It wasn’t necessary, but then, if it wasn’t done, the burial that could have been done would be more than one. Why, why, why? That was not the South East we used to know,” he said.

“President Muhammadu Buhari has done a lot for the country, particularly in the area of infrastructure. And no region has been left behind. Not the North, or the South, and South East particularly. Two weeks ago, we had a chronicle of great works done, and being done in that part of the country on this page. No leader ever solves all the problems in a country. He will come, do his bit, and somebody else succeeds him, and continues. History will ultimately be kind to Buhari, in that he came, he saw, and conquered to the best of resources available.

“How I used to enjoy visits to South East in the past. How many times have I attended the Ezumezu (traditional homecoming) held in Igbere, in Abia State. How many Igbotonma (age grade retirement) have I attended, without looking over my shoulders. But not anymore. What has happened to our dear South East? What subsists there now is an evil wind that blows no good. May evil be defeated, and may the good old days return to all parts of our country. Amen x7,” he concluded

This is just a ridiculous demand, they should have told the Iranian president to put on a baseball cap. Rules for medieval time are not fit for our present time. That is why Iranian women are on the street protesting right now.
Foreign AffairsIran's President Abandons CNN Interview As Amanpour Refuses To Wear Head Scarf by DonXavi(op): 7:38am On Sep 23, 2022
Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi withdrew from a long-planned interview with CNN’s chief international anchor Christiane Amanpour at the United Nations General Assembly in New York on Wednesday, after she declined a last-minute demand to wear a head scarf.

Some 40 minutes after the interview was scheduled due to start and with Raisi running late, an aide told Amanpour the president had suggested that she wear a head scarf. Amanpour said that she “politely declined.”

Amanpour, who grew up in the Iranian capital Tehran and is a fluent Farsi speaker, said that she wears a head scarf while reporting in Iran to comply with the local laws and customs, “otherwise you couldn’t operate as a journalist.” But she said that she would not cover her head to conduct an interview with an Iranian official outside a country where it is not required.

Here in New York, or anywhere else outside of Iran, I have never been asked by any Iranian president – and I have interviewed every single one of them since 1995 – either inside or outside of Iran, never been asked to wear a head scarf,” she said on CNN’s “New Day” program Thursday.

“I very politely declined on behalf of myself and CNN, and female journalists everywhere because it is not a requirement.”

Iranian law requires all women to wear a head covering and loose-fitting clothing in public. The rule has been enforced in Iran since the 1979 Islamic Revolution, and it is obligatory for every woman in the country – including tourists, visiting political figures and journalists.

Amanpour said that Raisi’s aide made clear that the interview – which would have been the Iranian president’s first on American soil – would not happen if she did not wear a head scarf. He referred to it as “a matter of respect,” given that it is the holy months of Muharram and Safar, and referred to “the situation in Iran,” alluding to the protests sweeping the country, she added.

Anti-government protests erupted across Iran last week over the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini while in custody, after having been arrested by Iran’s morality police on an accusation of violating the law on head scarves.

Thousands of people have taken to streets, with some women cutting their hair and burning their hijabs in protest against the law. Human rights groups have reported that at least eight people have been killed in the demonstrations, which have been met with a sharp crackdown by authorities, according to witnesses and videos shared on social media.

The demonstrations appear to be the most large-scale displays of defiance against the Islamic Republic’s rule, one which has become more stringent since the election of Raisi’s hard-line government last year. After eight years of Hassan Rouhani’s moderate administration, Iran elected Raisi, an ultra-conservative judiciary chief whose views are in line with the thinking of the country’s powerful clergy and Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

In Iran, the head scarf is a potent symbol of a set of personal rules imposed by the country’s clerical leaders, which govern what people can wear, watch and do. Over the past decade, protests have flared as many Iranians have grown resentful of those limitations.

Amini’s death has fueled an outpouring of long-simmering anger over restrictions on personal freedoms. Surveys and reports in recent years have shown an increasing number of Iranians do not believe the hijab, or head scarf, should be mandatory.

Iranian officials have claimed Amini died after suffering a “heart attack” and falling into a coma, but her family have said she had no pre-existing heart condition, according to Emtedad news, an Iranian pro-reform media outlet. Skepticism over the officials’ account of her death has also stoked the public outcry.

CCTV footage released by Iran’s state media showed Mahsa Amini collapsing at a “re-education” center where she was taken by the morality police to receive “guidance” on her attire.

Amanpour had planned to probe Raisi on the Amini’s death and the protests, as well as the nuclear deal and Iran’s support for Russia in Ukraine, but said that she had to walk away.

“As protests continue in Iran and people are being killed, it would have been an important moment to speak with President Raisi,” she said in a Twitter thread.

Explorers:
Packets of condoms, a pistol and two enigma machines used by the Germans to transmit coded messages during the Second World War are among a trove of items from a sunken Nazi submarine that have been documented for the first time.

The treasures were onboard U-boat 534 when it was sunk by an RAF Liberator bomber off the coast of the Danish Island of Anholt on May 5, 1945, as the war was coming to an end.

The U-boat was raised in 1993 and taken to Birkenhead, in Liverpool, where it went on display to the public.

However, the artefacts it contained which were preserved by the cold water and layers of silt when they were in the sea were put into storage without being properly examined.

This month, they were looked at for the first time in nearly 80 years.

Stunning images show the dozens of objects as well as the rusted interior of the submarine itself.

They should come out openly and mention other region where they are collecting toll.

LOKO OWETO BRIDGE VS THE SECOND NIGER BRIDGE ..

✍️This is the 2.2km Loko-Oweto Bridge that connects Benue to Nassarawa ( Both State in the North Central)...

✍️It was done and dusted without any noise and fanfare... it is also not tolled.

✍️The Construction of this Bridge started in 2011 and was completed and delivered in 2020. This Bridge is not in any form or manner tolled .

✍️This Bridge is way longer than the Second Niger Bridge that connects the south west and south south to the south east

✍️I never saw any news in the media asking the indigenes of Benue and Nassarawa state to carry gay cows and atilogwu dance to go and thank Goodluck Jonathan and Buhari

✍️But, everyday human beings with grey matter in their cranium ( abi is it pig pooh pooh?), will always remind us to dobale before Buhari for allowing the continuation of work on the 1.6km Second Niger Bridge that will be tolled and levied ...

✍️The FGN and her private sector partners, who funded the construction of this Second Niger Bridge at an outrageously overinvoiced cost, when compared to the longer Loko -Oweto Bridge, will toll it to recover the cost of construction from us plus profit over a period of 30 years plus .

✍️Me and other Bridge users will pay for the cost of this Bridge plus margin, via tolling, despite the fact that it was done with part of the oil revenue from my Imo state and our taxes

✍️Please next time, as a southern Nigerian ( from SW, SS and SE,) before you post the picture of the uncompleted Second Niger Bridge and ask us to dobale before Buhari, take a good look at the picture of this LOKO OWETE Bridge , stare into the mirror, look at the person staring back at you... do you know who he is ? We all know controversies is what helps to keep the industry flowing either Good or bad. just like Biggie and 2pac in here we are going to talk about the king0g top 5 countdown nigeria musicians who had quarrels, dispute with each other.... some got settled between the line other's still holds grudges between themselves till today, hence the line by burna boy on black sermon track remix some of his friends do carry gun!. shogbo?

OLAMIDE and DONJAZZY

This happened in 2015 during the headies next rated between their both top signees....it was getting so fustrating seeing don jazzy musicians winning that category almost every year.. though he is a good promoter but some of us saw they is an influence going on in headies (wiao wiao government) because it was so clear lil kesh had more hits than reekardo banks that year...when olamide stepped up on stage to make his mind known, i didn't really blame him.. the fight got to social media that they both started throwing jabs to each other that it was getting to a stage of been threatened not to enter some parts of lagos state..until we later heard what was supposed to be a fight became a businesses transaction. A big man came to settle the whole thing, probably shut them both up with couple of nairas.. the both signees they want to fight for is nowhere to found as of now. what a shame!

eedris abdulkareem and 50 cent

Though eedris claimed this earned him alot of respect, back then as a kid so many of us were in support but as I grew older I finally understood the real issue, it's not right to vent your fustration on someone else. it's not 50cent doings to be the headline event of the show....he was invited to....it's not 50 cent fault to be booked in a first class seat on the plane by the organisers. why will you carry your agbero character to go taunt him...if you felt you weren't treated better in your own country go talk to the organisers and caused havoc with them, let's see if he won't spent the rest of his careers behind kuje since 04.
That was an unnecessary act he pulled with 50 cent, let's say the truth and we all could see how it affected his career... upcoming musicians that's one vital lesson.

ZLANTA and DJ CUPPY

This is one of the reasons I don't blame this online redpillers on nairaland, why come into a business transaction with some one (gelato) and not make the laid down rules known from the start?..is it because it's a female involved? after the whole thing is done.. concerts you attended to perform with her.. months later you blocked her on all platform and came out to say.... you didn't receive one naira from the song... you even spent your own money on it.. ah who does that?.. if not a SIMPle guy. what a pathetic joke...that's Why I don't blame nigerias when they say he was after his own "share" to tap free current...when the wifi was not connecting to her "hotspot" access denied dude finally realised and got back to his senses ...by then it's too late. business before pleasure my gee... that doesn't mean you shouldn't lick ice cream with her but be business oriented.... I hope zlanta gets to see this someday...so many musicians gets paid outrightly for a verse feature before they jump on any beat.

MI and VECTOR

This was a fight between a father and a son that went on for decade, when they finally saw that nigeria's have moved passed their balderdash they were forced to settle their beef claiming hennessy dropped some naira...hmm.. funny guys.... buh the truth is they realised nigeria's has moved on when they both drop their various diss tracks and it didn't make that much waves.. no one cares no more....we just wanted some good music from fireboy, omah lay and the rest ......was this really about rivalry? both are on different levels though, I appreciate vectors freestyles, metaphors and punchlines but when I see people compare him with mi I shake my head. let's talk about music... there's different between been a rapper who drop bars on a beat and been a rap Musician for the show business.... that's the reason MI will forever be a legend.
I mean been a rapper in nigeria is not easy, to be relevant for years now I wonder how he pulled it off with guys he started with so many have been long forgotten.

BURNA BOY and Mr 2Kay

sometimes I feel this man is untouchable, backed by different top men in nigeria, big Gods I don't think been a cultist or ruggedity won't give a man that much power to be in the news for bad reasons almost all the time and can't be touched. just few weeks ago we heard about how is security guard shot a man in a club till now nothing is done about it... This isn't the first time he was declared wanted by the nigeria police, makes me reminisce about the 2017 incident with beef he had with Mr 2kay a fellow port harcourt brother, dudes was beaten to pulp and robbed at Eko hotel.. after the hoodlums were apprehended they later confessed it was burna boy who sent them, but a scared chicken will always be a frightened chicken. kay said he wasn't going to press any charges, last we heard was they've settled their beef... pathetic.

note: this here is not to promote any form of violence staying peaceful should be encouraged at all time

thank you.

I dream like everyday and I remember them l, sometimes naked women, pooing too and all sort of rubbish.
Finance is in shambles too.

I was born a Muslim, first I gave my life to Christ
I have fasted, prayed and done meditation, those dreams are still there o
But what I notice is that the 12 to 1 am fire brigade prayer help alot. And if you have insomnia when you start midnight prayer you immediately begin to notice heavy sleep when it's about few minute to 12.
Although I am still waiting on God for answers to majority of the dilemma I found my self and I thank the OP for creating the thread and dacI lin and xavi.
Maybe we should create a what'sapp group or discuss our experiences here because I know there is still alot to learn from each other. Peace of the Lord be unto you all.
That will be a good thing to do. Create a WhatsApp group where we can have discussion. Telling our experiences in going through this battle should help and encourage those who are still in it battling. Jesus is the only solution

You're about the third person or so here with real experience and can confirm that this stuff ain't ordinary. 5:30 this morning, I had a small wet dream after series of intermittent prayers, reading and praise from 10PM. My eyes became heavy to sleep. In the dream, I suddenly started driving a car in high way. A kind of endless driving and even on top speed sometimes. Unknown to me it was a dream and suddenly, a wet dream occurred. I have never driven in real life before despite the fact that I was once a multimillionaire. This is not the first time experiencing wet dreams in this format and patterns.

If it were before, I would've beaten myself over this again but now I take conscious effort to keep the fire still going because of the many encouragement gotten here from believers. Gradually, the wet dreams are no longer as terrible as before.
Several times in the past I even defecate in dreams walking naked shamefully in a crowded place (this is rare) But that of former schools and classrooms is quite common. Dreams of losing my location and suddenly when I try going back, the road is no were to be found again till am awake. Sometimes in large congregation of Christians and mysteriously like a stranger and desiring to be cured or blessed with no success. I've seen plane crashed many times while I gazed helplessly at the crash.

One of my consolation now is in Psalm 70 because I don't want to even imagine this lasting another 7 years. Adding another 7 years to my current age with this existing troubles and lack? It is better imagined than real. My Rising and falling in finance, disappointment, losses, stagnancy, delays, set back, backwardness is over 100m cumulatively the last decade & two years if I was stable.

PS: for the sake of thomases reading pls I don't watch movies of any kind, no gazing or lusting at women anymore and right from my teen age I don't play love music that always glorifies or idolizes women or ladies sexually.
I encourage you my brother to keep going on, on that path you've chosen in prosecuting this battle, heaven has already announced your victory... I experienced all what you have narrated here. I used to dream seeing myself walking and missing my way, stranded and finding the way ahead blocked, seeing myself walking through cemetery with many tombs with dead people, climbing stairs that had blocked ends with no way to go forward, seeing myself walking through very tick darkness, seeing myself naked defecating, and sometimes in very dirty latrines, the list is endless. I thank God that you and not spiritually lost or a novice, you already have the formula for your deliverance and that is holding unto JESUS. (I did this same thing you are doing, I deleted all the worldly music I had and I stopped watching anything that did not glorified God. I took charge of my thought process and never entertained any dirty thoughts) Please, don't give God time of when you want Him to do it, just keep trusting Him, the bible says that a day is like a thousand years to our God and a thousand years is like a day to Him. If he did it for me, he will equally to it for you, he is not a partial God.

His word says in Psalms 91: 14 - 16 - Because you have set your love upon me, therefore will I deliver you: I will set you on high, because you have known my name. You shall call upon me, and I will answer you: I will be with you in trouble; I will deliver you, and honor you
With long life will I satisfy you, and show you my salvation.

Numbers 23: 19 - God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

Christianity EtcRe: Wet Dreams: A Thorn In My Flesh Going To Two Decades by DonXavi(m):

It is not a coincidence the topic "spirit spouse " was treated today in sunday school of a popular deliverance church I now attend in Benin City. A practical example of how a jealous spirit spouse can kill, inflict sickness, divorce and cause financial misfortunes in marriage.

If my life is about getting a woman or a girl to have sex with, I would have done that many many years ago but I will never do it & not even now that I'm begging God for mercy and total deliverance. Spiritual fornication and adultery is what I'm battling with here For those saying it is normal, what about the other evil dreams like sometimes seeing myself in former school?

Did you know before this "wet dreams" started, ladies use to joke and show interest in me without me ever first making any move? I wasn't interested because personally as a Christian why keep a girl when you have no desire of marrying her in the near future if not to just do the sex stuff that is a common practice these days.

But now, those that show interest in me are unrepentant lustful ladies, those that practically practice prostitution, sex machines and shop and clean mouth ladies. God knows those are not what I need as life partner but the devil is using "wet dreams " to separate me from God so that he can render God's purpose for my life useless & make me keep doing things my own ways. Tell me how a man that doesn't hear from God ever know the true life partner for him.

Also, I have never been favoured in my life since encountering wet dreams. No certificate, no university education/degree, no phone calls, business dead and millions vanished and replaced with debt. No body has ever favoured nor blessed me with free money. Not even 500 naira. Borrowing/ losses has dealt me a big blow spiking my blood pressure to very dangerous levels and the doctors were like this one don go because I'm not 40 yet but very close

But God so kind, it is now dropping (no drugs) since am looking unto Him now, trusting he can do all things & casting my cares on him while also increasing my night prayers. Where I go for even get the funds to keep buying BP drugs sef.

Three years ago, someone invited me to one of these small prophesy church in Warri and I really went there by strong faith. He asked me " do you have a woman in your life " I said no. Then he began to say that a spirit woman is always following me about like a spouse and that she has stolen massively from my life. Conducted deliverance on me right there but I didn't feel any evil spirit leaving me.

The next thing he said I would pay some funds into his account so as for him to activate my financial doors and money flow. I think I transferred 2 to 3k then. Actually nothing really worked despite all efforts. I begged some of my online multi millionaire friends for financial assistance to feed but they just keep mute and never reply me again. Others will use derogatory words. I have learnt now to keep trusting God and obeying him till my deliverance and restoration comes speedily.
I will say that you are on the right path with the way you are going about this. Increase your night prayers, increase your fasting life, make sure you join the workforce in church, dedicate your time in working faithfully for him in a living church, God will surely take you to your place of victory. I had all these experiences you are having now and even more, I was seeing myself back in places I lived like 30 years ago and schools I attended many years ago. But I thank God that He has delivered me and given me victory over them all.
