Unless there were other witnesses to corroborate the drivers story, I would hope that the police will do a proper investigation and not just accept the drivers account without verification.

I never met Benson Idahosa personally, but it is 100% correct that God raised several dead people back to life through him. I have personally met two people that were raised from the dead. One of them had died in a fatal accident. Benson Idahosa was not feared by Nigeria's military dictators for no good reason. The smoke was soo visible and I am sure lots of peeps must have seen it. It enveloped the audience and in its usual characteristic, got peeps high and freenzy. I don't know about peeps getting healed though, but if you've ever gotten high on weed, you will understand the feeling of 'nothing is imposible'.

As ridiculous as this explanation is, it still remains the second most plausible explanation right next to the first which is Pastor Chris was just telling a cóck and bull story.

My take is that theocratic governments tend to be more intolerant of minorities and dissenting views than liberal governments, this is so because they claim to derive their laws from the highest authority which is God. The only problem with this is that the people with power are the ones that determine what is said by God. Case in point Galilei Galileo.
Having said the above, I think Islam is naturally more violent than Christianity since it was founded on theocratic aspirations. As many Muslims will tell you, the purest form of practicing Islam will result in a Caliphate or an Islamic State.
This is in contrast with Christianity where its founder said his Kingdom is not an earthly one and wherever two or three are gathered in His name, he would be present.
Granted, the church of old did usurp Christianity and turned it into a Theocracy which ushered the world into what is now called the dark age. Islam unchallenged will be many times worse since the religion is a natural theocracy.

Or how stupid can one be to fall for Daddy G.O Adeboye's wicked and evil statement that the best and easiest way out of poverty is by paying tithe when it should be obvious that that paying tithe offers no economic benefits to anyone but the pastors.

The statement that the Redeemed church does not support get rich quick schemes is kind of ironic considering the fact that the church gets its wealth by asking members to donate their all with a promise of multiple folds payback from God.

What you are advocating will make the naira less valuable than toilet paper in less than a year.
You fail to realise that money has no intrinsic value of it's own, in other words it's perceived value is derived from the goods and services associated with it.
So, when you grow the money supply exponentially like mmm does without a corresponding exponential increase in the supply of goods and services, your money will quickly become useless.

The reason for your issues is because mmm has crashed. They are unable to get new victims to pay into the scheme. In other words, mmm is bankrupt, kaput, dead and so is your money.
You should have listened to those who warned against joining, they only had good intentions for you.

i believe if nobody can give me reasonable explanation: i will have no choice than to believe that we do not exist before birth and so can't exist after death (so painful, hence our consolation of creating a better and more palatable concept of heaven and hell )

The bible teaches that all life comes from God, without Him none can be alife. After the sin of Adam and Eve, God told them that from dust the were and to dust they shall return. In other words, they were nothing before He gave them life and at death they shall return to their initial lifeless state.
Immortality on the other hand is a gift from God to His faithful servants.

The problem with most christians in Nigeria is that their religion has effectively become more or less a talisman to them. When they talk about Christ it is his power they are interested in and not his message. They go to church in search of miracles and manifestation of God's power instead of to seek God and to learn how to be the best version of themselves.

It makes perfect sense to me.

A child is supposed to be loved and protected by their parents or guardians, that is why I am saddened not just for the tragedy of her death but that her short life was full of fear and misery. And what saddens me even more is that her case is not a one off rear occurrence, it is far too common yet our society seem not to be bothered by it.
You see them in churches and mosque praying to God for mercy while throwing punches at their wards and depriving them of food and clothing. The hypocrisy in our society has become unbelievable to behold.

This is a personal perspective of mine after thinking about the two of them for sometime since MMM crashed Cc lalasticlala myn44 seun.

The greatest similarity between pastors and mmm is that they tell their members to forget hard work, that it is by giving out their money that they can become rich.
They both live in a fantasy world where money is divorced from value creation and can keep growing exponentially to infinity.

It is amazing how wonderfully portent and powerful this Pentecostal Holy Spirit is when it comes to the not at all useful stuff like making an apparently sane and grown up man to utter gibberish like an escapee from Yaba Left, but when confronted with giving a little blind girl her sight for the very first time, it becomes a case of not enough faith.
Or how it makes those under it's influence to stagger and fall like a drunk on a boat in stormy sea, but still leaves them as miserable and empty as they were before the drunken episode.
