CelebritiesRe: Campaign For Change In Nigeria By 2face, BankyW, Eldee, Wizkid & Co. (Video) by doublej1(m): 8:44am On Aug 10, 2012
Nigeria!!! Since when i was born it has been these tune that have been always sang by people to appease their mind. We ventured into something we new had no carnal knowledge of,'democracy'. We just looked at the good part, didn't learn the pros and cons of it. The dividend is what we are seeing, a society where the citizen has no say, a society which the mind of its citizen has been manipulated to suit the selfish desire of her leaders, a society where the minds of the citizens see the truth and fear to fight for it, a society where the citizens have been thought from birth from birth to be self-centred. With this i will want a person who have experienced true democracy to tell us what we are running, if we aren't then our sole aim should be to restore a society which runs true democracy.

ITbomb: So you finally woken up . When Obasanjo spent USD 10b with nothing to show for 8 years, u didn't fight for ur right.
When Abacha came, saw and left transmission as it was, u didn't fight for ur right .
GEJ has taken power pass the proverbial 4000 MW under 2 years, and u suddenly realised it was ur right to have. SMH
bros, have you asked yourself where those money has entered

Why are most of my fellow nigerians thinking like this? Even the guys i thought have concrete solutions to our problem!!! At this point in time no nigerian should be juvelating, any juvelation should be done after all factors behind the inconsistent power supply in the country in the pass few years has been tackled accordingly. May God give my fellow Nigerians the wisdom to understand this.

Nigeria, we can all see why Nigeria is not progressing. Just take a look at this thread, a thread where sensible comments is been made is still at 3 pages. If it where to be PEJ ate bread and poo beans, it would have been hitting 60 pages. We need reorientation.

banki: kettykin: Please befroe you go further in your throwing of bucks and casting of aspersions in your fit of misplaced agression , find out whom the current minister of sporst is and the people running NFA and you can see clearly on whom you can put the blame on, also find out who the NOC president, and other sports administrators. Please this has nothing do with GEJ.

So who does the minister of sports report to? was the minister of sports appointed by nigerians or by GEJ....... go and clean your brains please
pls, it doesn't take you some seconds to reason this. When every one in power is corrupt, how do you think a system void of corruption will come into existence? Its either the president (GCFR) are a move that will leave this leaders at the mercy of the masses or the people stand up to fight every corrupt leader in one voice. Pls, don't underestimate the power of the president.

I want to ask you people a question. After all this usefull suggestions made by us, have you cared to analyze all of them or take into consideration the view of your fellow brother? Or you are feeling that anyone who has a view contrary to yours is a fool? If yes then you are the problem of the country. You say we are running democracy, what is democracy without people who can't come out to say something in one voice. I would keep saying this, the day we citizens of Nigeria can say yes in one voice, that will be the end of our problem.

I don't how how to describe some nigerians. They want progress yet yet the don't want to hear the truth. A right thinking person should know that one of his priorities should be trying to aid the growth of his country but some prefer sitting in there house saying God will do it.
Christianity EtcRe: Pastor Bakare Attacks Patience Jonathan by doublej1(m): 12:43pm On Aug 06, 2012
warrior01: Tis now quite obvious that tunde bakare is obsessed with denigrading Gej and his family not even minding that it is the same God he claims he is serving that put Gej there. He no more cares about the spiritual wellbeing of his members but he is busy sowing seeds of discord and hatred in their hearts all in the name of politics and it doesn't take rocket science for any reasonable person to discern this. Is God happy with him? The answer is NO cos he is presently not Christ like.
tell us with all sense of humility and truth in you if what he said is the truth or not.

PoliticsRe: Hillary Clinton To Visit Nigeria In August 2012 by doublej1(m): 12:35am On Jul 31, 2012
All sensible Nigerians shouldnt find it hard to note the sole aim of her visit, if you people are ready we can do something to that. I remember the time of Abacha when a destroyer called an ambassador to the states was given 24 hours to leave the country, because any where this man steps his foot is in absolute disaccord.
I know some folks will call this a stupid mantality but a word is enough for the wise.
PoliticsRe: Something Is Wrong; Power Is Improving by doublej1(m): 12:13am On Jul 31, 2012
Naija, its a wish and a long yearn by us to have stable power supply. Some of us have been carried away by the almost consistent power supply in some areas in Nigeria since the past few days, some pen and mouth robbers are out there laughing at us or sad. I am personally pleased with the improvement but are we nigerians wishing to enjoy today and suffer tomorrow, it is a known fact to us that this so called improvement just started some few days ago this forces us to ask what technically put in place brought about this?what is the motive behind this?
My dear nigerians it is left to us to decide if this is going to be a curse or a blessing to us.

CultureRe: Is Marriage Still Important In Modern Society/Culture? I Dont Think So. by doublej1(m): 11:49pm On Jul 20, 2012
pufectskin: marriage is no longer important for the society becouse they dont think or want the relathionship to last forever...only those who want to stay forever get married
I personally detest having to be married to someone for years...I mean how can one honeststly live with one person for years and years and years. I ld b bored to death.
And click the link below for more on statistics showing worldwide that less and less women are keen on marriage...its a worldwide thing so don't dare bring that african culture bullcrap here. I don't wanna see it!
http://advice.eharmony.com/blog/2011/10/28/is-marriage-losing-importance-around-the-world/

Girls, try to work hard for urself. Dere r tons of opportunities in naija to make tons of money. Don't let married friends (most of which are miserable with their cheating husbands or whose mess they have to clean up after) or society bully u into something you are not prepared for. Have u seen d divorce rates in naija lately? Trippled from 2010.
I personally have my own business and in my early 20s...just finished NYSC and business is great. Make money, travel wide...dere r so many places to see ppl to meet, opportunities to discover, kids to adopt, lives to change and ppl to employ. Life is so much more about so many things besides marriage...peace out!
op, it seems you are looking for a simple way out. Am sorry to say but it seems you come from a typical home you described. If no, then you havent been given the right upbringing as a child should have gotten from its parent.
When you talk about high divorce rate, you would have been expected have a very detailed cause of it. If you know these, i would just let you know this, do not ever find a short cut solution for a problem, always address it based on the cause.

tbaba1234: Give me a tamil palindrome that the vowels and consonants spell the same backward and forward... Just like arabic, English and thousands of the worlds languages....

if i give you a Quranic Syllabic palindrome, we can compare..... like for like...

stop giving excuses...
since the tamil palindrome he got was searched, i advice he gives you a palindrome in arabic to ensure there is no excuses.
But durrub spelt backwardly was burrud, so is it a palindrome?
