The coincidence between the Baga attack, the launch of PMB campaign and the quickness of PDP release is worrisome. Just as there are insinuations that herdsmen attacks reduced after PDP selected a Fulani herdsman as its presidential candidate, there could be a correlation between the the campaign launch and Baga attack.

1. Except he plans to run as a dictator or bribe the entire national and state assembly members to do his bidding, how exactly does he plan to make the restructuring work? Ordinary constitution amended, the National Assembly finds it a Herculian task, talk less of doing an entire overhaul of the system these same people are benefiting from. This is akin to asking the National Assembly to reducing their pay. With different persons hving a different idea of how the nation shld be restructured... the debate will go on forever at the assemblies

As I see it... the only thing we can do as a nation is to work within the system we currently have and try to perfect it as much as we can. Or there is a war or some major tragedy, a dictator takes over and “orders” the restructuring.

So... no, his idea is just a pipe dream.

We are in this mess because Nigerians like you opposed subsidy removal...(well, partial removal) in 2012.

As far back as 2006, people in government were telling you codedly that fuel subsidy was not sustainable. GEJ removed it partially, you Nigerians complained, GEJ brought it back...and as a result govt went into debt maintaining a subsidy that it could no longer afford.

The deal was to let the American company establish a high-speed internet company using Nigerian telecom company Nitel's lines. Atiku eventually sold Nitel to another company, possibly to himself and cronies for $900 million, but didn't bother to pay the sacked Nigerians and their pensions, the PDP governments after did not bother to pay them either, but luckily for the same Nigerians, PMB paid every kobo owed.

Selling Nitel was a deception, the main target was Nitel's real estate assets all over Nigeria from the Nitel building itself to office buildings, guest houses in Ikoyi, VI , 500 real estate component scattered all over the country with a value running into billions of naira including NITEL's buildings such as staff quarters, schools, clinics and so on.

Atiku destroyed and eliminated thousands of jobs while enriching himself, they did not bother to pay their pensions, but he's posing to gulling Nigerians with amnesia as a job creator when in fact he's crook and job destroyer.
