During Christmas period in the East, you will see some home base that are doing better than some guys that came from America, Asia and Europe. Brother Stop comparing people, everyone is trying. The hustle is against poverty not friends |

bilms: Everyone speaks English: Well, many people speak fluent English but everyone speaks Pidgin English. Pidgin is a local variant — I would say it is a unique language on its own — that combines local dialects, slang and some English words. No surprise, since English is the official language and most people speak it alongside one or two of 350+ local languages. Pls North not included in this English . |

ansellotty: Do not expect your friend(s) that left the country to respond swiftly to your messages. Sometimes they could see the messages and would be marked 'read' but the time to respond wouldn't be there.
He may not be avoiding you. He simply may not have the free time to respond to your messages. He probably threatened to block you because you were persistent at sending these messages and it annoyed him, which may be temporary.
Why am I saying this? I'm currently in the same shoe right now. I do see messages from relatives and friends but not always free to respond to them. Some think it is pride, others attached separate reasons. But to me, I didn't see it as such.
Baba, time na money! Everyone attach different values to time.
Come to think of it, it seems you were expecting something in return by giving him your winter coat and other stuffs. At least, that could be deduced from your post. Else, I didn't see any reason why you should take it serious. Even if he got angry becox of msg, they have been friends, tell him u r busy and hardly get time to chat, then you will see how he chats you again, common man its just the first HI and u r threatening to block him |

Adebuble: So today I went to Deira market today.
Before then we went for dinner on a boat cruise yesterday At marina... . It was fun, although the meal was Asia cuisine, but the experience was priceless... a male dancer performed and we the females got our lali done for 150dhm which is 15k in naira.. At least we were three, the lady did 150dhm for one hand for one person and 250dhm for two hand.. Hustle is real world wide.
Our leaders r just terrible people investing in Dubai with Nigeria's money... There is God o.
Back to the market, in Deira, Al anood center u buy in dozens (wholesale) and retails are usually put in the front of the stores.. In my opinion, only few shops passed for me may be cause I buy from china and US.
I got several contacts for shoes, bags and materials, met this youth guys who came to buy hair, I will advice buy from China.
Met quite a number of Nigerians with different stories, some came for business while other are there for work to gather so that the can relocated to other countries..
The market also have people that change fake dirharm to people, best is to change at banks or designated currency changing centers, or know the dollar to dirharm conversion and just pay in dollars..
I used the train from city center station to deira market it was fun and cheap.. Next train level is the Dubai mall in two days time.
Tomorrow is the beach and movies...
Will work on sending pictures kindly bear with me.. Enjoy every bit of it,we are behind you. About the pics? We have been bearing, infact we are now #BallBearings |
