Atletico should please park their baggages and move to the EPL. They are not playing like a Spanish club at all.
Leipzig can't dominate or win Sevilla...so disappointed in them.
Leipzig can dominate and beat virtually every club in La Liga except Barca and maybe Real Madrid. A team that Bayern struggles to draw, is it now Sevilla or Villarreal that can dominate them?

If you avidly watch Bundesliga games, you'll know that Leipzig plays a dominating attacking game, second only to Bayern. Even Dortmund'' possession doesn't compare.

A year ago, I told some friends that Leipzig has the potential to reach the UCL finals, and they laughed. Oh well. A team that was created in 2010, promoted 4 times in 7 seasons, qualified for UCL in their first ever season of first league football, beating Bayern and Dortmund in the process.

We are dominating the game. I don't see how Atleti can defeat us. I don't underestimate Atletico sha, those guys sabi soak up pressure and hit back on the counter. But we too are masters of cracking open locked down defenses.

Lol it's just so unfortunate, y'all should put yourself in my shoes, I'm sweating like a piece of melting butter.
You know I'm still a baby !
Good day.

I'd like to chip in with some little words of advice, to avoid getting into difficult situations like these in the future.

Firstly, you have to realize that you are not the center of attraction and the world does not revolve around you. Keep that in mind whenever you want to do or say anything. If people on this thread decide to help you or not, it doesn't affect them in any way. I love your determination and high self-esteem, but everything has a limit. Don't overstep, else you'd chase your helpers away.

Secondly, in life, you have no excuse for any wrong decisions you make. No matter what you say or think can exonorate you, you will still have to face the consequences of your actions in one way or another. There are other 16 year olds and even younger kids facing similar crises. I started this process when I graduated from secondary school at 14, had to hustle for sponsors as my parents didn't have anything to help me with apart from prayers. It doesn't mean that you'll start blame games, insulting anyone or transferring aggression. In life, no one owes you anything, including even your parents. Just calm down, put your head down and follow the process. Be ready to do research, there are organizations that sponsor high achieving students in your shoes. Do your research and find them.

Above all, I wish you the best.

Is is usually SAT or Evaluation, or both?
What advice do you have for a NECO result holder?
It depends.

Most schools require or recommend the SAT. Some claim to be test optional, but will hold it against you if you dont submit test scores. If you are applying only to top schools and no HBCUs, then you won't need an evaluation.

I haven't seen anyone use their NECO results, but I think you can use it. The problem with NECO is that they rarely give As, so even the best students have average transcripts.

From personal experience, the EducationUSA opportunity funds program will only cover these costs if he has a minimum of 7As and 2Bs. If he had applied for the program before his WAEC result came out then he might've been selected without the result and he would've gotten free membership (which involves access to experienced advisors and a possible list of schools)but he'll still have to come up with the money for the SAT. The only exception where they might pay for these other fees is when you have a really exceptional SAT score and you're already a member.

He can still try, who knows?
I didn't have 7As and 2Bs.
Many of my colleagues didn't, too. One of my friends even had 6Bs and 3Cs, in OFP.
If you can show your story and academic potentials, your WAEC can be overlooked. But I recommend you have at least one or two national awards (NNPC, Olympiad, Cowbell) and strong leadership positions (senior prefect) and a perfect or near perfect high school GPA.

These are not full ride schools for undergrad. Some may have one or two scholarships for internationals, but I don't know of any of these that give full aid to internationals.

Safety schools would be more of HBCUs, lower tier Liberal Arts Colleges, and schools with specific scholarships for students above a certain SAT score or GPA for internationals.

Thanks y'all I really appreciate❣️
Pls I just need anyone to suggest 3 safeties that i can apply to in order to make my list of schools 10

but in this case where SAT isn't administered is there any way out?

Anyways I've been sending emails across all schools to be really sure the're really test optional, in my email I made mention the international passport required to take the test and made the admission office aware that I can't take the test without my IP also SAT isn't administered amidst the pandemic and their response was all positive they said I
won't be penalized/ disadvantaged in the holistic admission process, or should I shift my application to next year in order to take the test and be on a safer side?

Also the deadline for the EducationUSA thingy is may 31
Not everything you see online or you are told online is applicable in reality. That's why experience is the best teacher. There are some things I could tell you about some certain schools that contradicts what is in their websites. That's why I prefer professional advising from people with experience.

Now look at the whole saga from the POV of the admission officer. An AO needs more applicants so that they can reject more and maximize selectivity to keep their prestige. That's why they will tell you anything just to make you apply. MIT will not read your application if your SAT Math score is below 750, but they won't tell you. It's all part of the admissions game.

But it's expensive I'm just a poor boy, seeking for greener pastures!

I lost my job my parents are only supporting me with prayers no financial support from them, but I've got a sponsor for only my Visa and flight he just needs me to gain admission by myself

I'm too broke to take the SAT, firstly I don't have an international passport, no money to pay for the SAT.
I'd advise you look for sponsors first before you even start anything.

Also consider applying for the Opportunity funds programme of EducationUSA. They cover all costs, from SAT to international passport, down to WES evaluation, SEVIS fees and even flight ticket.

Thanks for chipping in. First things first, if your academics are not excellent (the very best), you may as well forget these schools. And it's for your own good because the competition you would find in class is unlike something you have ever seen.
That is why I dislike when people talk about "dream" schools. What makes people pick out dream schools? Mostly prestige. And they put all their hopes in getting into those schools, then get heartbroken after being rejected. I prefer schools of best fit, schools where you know that based on your personality and strengths, you'll survive and thrive. That was why, even when my SAT score came out and pressure came from all corners to apply to MIT or Harvard, I refused. I know that I am the kind of person that prefers a highly competitive environment, but not a cut-throat one, and a place where I would have better access to my professors. So I did my research and choose a college that I felt I would thrive the most in.

NB: MIT is my dream college

Thanks ❣️
No safeties?

All these schools are tough schools o. Academics can't get you in, so don't rely on them. My friend made a similar mistake, thought his 8A1s, national awards and scholarships, and 1590/1600 could get him in. After he didn't get into any school his first year, he sat down and restructured his application, then applied to the schools of his best fit. It's not all about having awards. IMO participants and NNPC winners are also applying to the same MIT. Try to find something that can stand you out, and show them through your essays.

More important is your SAT/ACT score. With this school list, you should be aiming for 1500+ or 34+. Anything less, it's easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle.

I was planning to take the SAT this year but due to the pandemic I'm not sure if that would be achievable , next year though I believe it'll be possible .
For now , I'm still focusing on my preparations for the exam ( in terms of reading) because I'm really hoping to score a very high score to get a full ride as I can't afford the education there .It has been my dream for years to study in the US for years and I believe getting a full ride scholarship there is achievable if I work hard .
What I just wrote is just a brief description of my goals , I'm sorry I'm not precise enough ,I wanted to fully express myself since I'm new here.
Also , I'm 16 years old and I want to pursue an undergraduate degree,My high school gpa is an 'A' average result as I was a straight 'A' student( just in case this question ever comes up)
Please I'll be asking a lot of questions , I'll also love to get polite replies .
My first question is do you think I can get a full ride with a high SAT score and these results or I'll need to prep for another WAEC huh. Please I really need answers
The WAEC is not bad, WES evaluation can put it at 3.4 or 3.5/4.0. The most important thing is the SAT score. Writing a solid essay with great extracurriculars is also helpful. If you can, create a one page resume.

Try to have one stand-out thing in your application that you reflect through your essays, extracurriculars, etc. For example, I used my diversity to sell myself. I emphasised it in my essays. Also used tutoring too, which I showed through my extracurriculars. Make your essays very unique, don't write about how you passed an exam or how you overcame stage fright or something very general like that. Make your admission officers remember you through your essays.

If you can get to Abuja or Lagos, I'll advise you link up with the EducationUSA Advising Center. You could even apply for the Opportunity Funds Programme, and get all your application expenses fully covered by the embassy. With your stats, you have a great chance of getting in.

I've been literally screaming this since. I watched Osimhen in the U-17 World Cup and Belgium Pro League last season, and I can confidently say that he is the most talented and endowed number 9 we have at the moment. He has Ighalo's strength and Onuachu's height to an extent, he is faster than both of them and more slippery. He can take on two to three defenders at a time and is too versatile to be caged the way Ighalo is. The guy had 20 goals in an average Chaleroi side and was their player of the season. Plus, Seedorf won't expect it and the last minute inclusion may shatter Cameroon's game plan. I just hope Rohr has the balls to try this out.
Look where he is nowO:-)

thanks for the information.
Then I take advantage of the system by applying for a scholarship that will only be sufficient for my tuition but not feeding and accommodation
Then I can use the feeding and accommodation as a basics for applying to work outside campus.

As for the studies don't bother about it whether I read or not I will pass excellently.

I just need something to get out of this country legally, I believe that 40hour-Week job will even pay more than one of the most lucrative jobs in Nigeria.
A potential 1500 SAT score student does not think in this way.

Firstly, the SAT is not an exam that "whether I read or not, I will pass excellently." To put things in perspective, I started out with an 1100+ straight out of secondary school with a fresh brain and moved it to a 1500+ after a year solely preparing for the SAT. My jamb score reduced somewhat significantly during this period.

Secondly, it clearly seems that you are not a genuine student. If you understand the elaborate documentation that goes into scholarships, financial aid, visas and maintaining f1 status, you'd know that what you're looking for is a dead end.

Which Chelsea player has recorded the highest number of goals in the EPL in the past three season grin grin its actually Tega Abraham.

Do you recall a certain Alfredo Morata that came to Chelsea highly recommended for £60 million pounds he left after failing to meet the standard after two seasons.

This is Tega Abraham first season in the EPL, I dont think it is registering hate or like him, he scored 15 goals in the EPL , thats not dodo and ewah. In real terms that is outstanding. If Victor had scored 15 goals in the EPL a lot of you would be calling him the best young striker in the world. actually quite a lot of you already are. If the question was asked who is better Timo or Victor the resounding overwhelming answer would be Victor O.

Keeping that thought in mind and tell me one striker from the Bundesliga that has come to the EPL and been able to replicate his goal tally please.

Finally , look at players not able to make headway in the EPL but ripped the Bundesliga at the first time of asking, Batshuayi, Ghenabre, Sancho, Nelson, etc. It is apparent that the Bundesliga is not the same level as the EPL, so why presume a striker will jump from Bundesliga and start to rip the EPL apart, I cannot see it happening. I can actually see him struggling with Pulisic forget about Tega.
Seems Aubameyang plays lawn tennis then.
