I have been following this thread for months now and I have learnt a lot. I believe this thread was created at a time when DIY was possible which I don't think is feasible anymore. I recently passed the DHA exam and am now eligible to practice as a medical doctor in Dubai. I made my first attempt last week by contacting an old friend who didn't expect me to know much, he referred me to another person who claimed to be an agent. It didn't take me long before I discovered that they were not honest. The guy said he was going to arrange an employment visa for me that'll enable me to start working immediately as a general practitioner there. This I know is not possible anywhere on the planet because of what my job entails. I know the right thing to do is to get a 3 months tourist visa then come over to hustle it out but I expected the agent to suggest that to me but he failed. If an old friend can try this trash with me, you can imagine what people are going through in the hands of these self acclaimed agents. My advice to the 'elders' on this thread is that you guys should try as much as possible to give direct answers to every question asked by people here no matter how naive the question is, it can prevent someone out there from loosing his fortune. Not everyone can sit down and read over 400pages. I didn't come here to bombard you with questions because I already know the right thing to do through your advice to others here. I know that I have to go to MOFA , MOE and UAE embassy to do the attestation of my credentials before coming over And of course I don't need to ask anyone to recommended an agent for me here because its against the rule and none of the elders will do that BUT you can do well by highlighting to us several way we may be scammed and by providing direct answers to our questions no matter how naive it looks.
I don't reply PMs o, agents planning to contact me should not bother doing that, am open to anu form of advice and it must be posted here, most esp regarding my decision to migrate to uae, not doing bad here but I feel I can do better over there true

By default, people are already calling him Ramadan but I have already reserved some names from which I am going to choose for him long before his birth, 'Ramadan ' isn't one of them. The aforementioned drugs, when used singly increases the possibility of resistance. hence, combination therapy with the use of ACT, artesunate/fansidar is currently being advised for uncomplicated malaria.

Yes you can do it at any of the aforementioned hospitals. even the price varies within the same hospital, it depends on who you speak to. majority of the junior staffs add their own charges, that's why ppl pay more esp at general hospitals. If you are close to Ota, you can come and get it at the state hospital, along idiroko road, Ota. you won't have to pay unecessary charges. most ppl do it for 5k but you won't pay beyond 3k if you have your genotype, blood grp, recent HIV and HbSAg results. You can also make cool money, Just get PCMs who need it and contact me.

She can come around for evaluation. goitre has many types. since it's becoming symptomatic, she will benefit from urgent surgery if it's a non toxic type. I can't handle the surgery though, I can recommend some centres.

I don't like leaving a comment on a thread like this as it may be difficult to argue things out with many people here but comments like the one you put up here may discourage the young ones who have passion to be a doctor but have not been convinced enough. Medical training is very expensive and stressful but does it worth it? I'll say YES. Doctors are not poor as you portray us to be here. Although, there are doctors who are still looking for placements, especially medical interns, in a similar way we have graduates of accounting who are aca and acca certified and are still roaming the streets looking for job. I am a doctor and am not poor. I live in my own house, have others under construction, use 3 cars, gainfully employed and I also manage my own hospital. guess what? am less than 35.
To the young ones out there, follow your dreams and be the best you can be.
To medical students, great future awaits you, keep your head straight.

Depends on so many factors: condition of the land ( dry? water logged? sloppy /flat), size of the building, location, moulding blocks/ buying? your taste as per finishing level. Am currently working on a project, 3 no of 2bedroom flat. I have spent 1.5m and I have not gone beyond foundation stage. Of course the land is dry but very sloppy. filling alone gulped about 500k. I don't know how far ur 2m can go but definitely not half way.
