Em! abeg, not with Atiku as their flag bearer. He can be anything else we won't mind but not their flag bearer, that would be the beginning of their failure. Its just like APC allowing Bihari to be their presidential aspirant. Once they make that mistake their failure starts from there. Nigerians now want young dynamic leaders at the helm who still know the frustrations of being young and not old worn out people who have comfortably relaxed into elderly age.

Princess zoe: And i hope all of you judging her has never cheated on your partners before. OP, am going to deviate a little now, please ignore some advises that has been dropped here out of chauvinism and hypocrisy. Don't tell me you can't spot them cause you can, when you read, read and re-read their comments carefully. Think out of the box while reading comments. Check the posters previous comments on past threads especially threads that are sexually and relationship related. Threads that have to do with topics where a man visits brothels; cheats on the wife; attracted to other woman aside his partner; e.t.c. Check those threads to confirm and be at least 98% sure whether such a person can profer same harsh or disciplinary advise when same sex gender is involved. N.B: some may be using multiple handles but some how by their fruits( same comments) you shall know them.Meanwhile, try and build a strong wall of discipline around you, with that, you can always control yourself not to hurt yourself or partner.
Madam in things like this, its best u speak for urself. U don't know anyone on this forumn so u can't prove to be an expert. Yes a lot of people pretend and this pretense is so malignant on NL but pls when u see black call it black and not white. Am not saying condemn her cos she made a mistake but then she was unrepentant about it and even expected her guy to 4give her. Now for me that's premonition and premeditated foul play. I won't have judged her had she showed an atom of being sober but she sounded defiant and that's what got me. She even tried 2 justify her evil deed. I mean, men can take some but not everything.

demelza: I am not judging you, I am just merely stating my opinion.
Do you tell your boyfriend that you do kiss this guy? If you do and he doesnt say anything, he must either be a rare gem or....
Good thing you have made the decision to stay away from him, that is the best for now.
As per your title to this thread, its just the way we humans are wired. We always believe the grass is greener on the other side.
bettyaliu: hey, take it easy bullshit happens you're no saint either besides we all fall, falling back on track is what matters. Besides my bf is understanding l told him the truth and how l feel am always transparent and he trust me. He didn't go about criticizing or judging when l told him. I never wanted the feeling that's why am avoiding the guy.
Hey demelza may not be judging u but I am. Do u think u are the only one that is being tempted. U had no business being with anoda man while u had a steady guy talk less of kissing him. Some men would have really given u gap to do some thinking. What u did could break the trust of someone that cares about. Cos na play play butterfly dey take enter fire. Look, we are all human beings, we get tempted but the way we react, act to these temptations matter a million. U bf is really a cool guy and u should be lucky to have him cos some men would break up with u for just that cos they felt they couldn't trust u anymore.
I've had women come tell me plainly to my face that they wanted something. Am no Adonis, am just this skiny bony guy but its happened to me so often, sometimes I ask myself what the shit is going on. But then, I've Neva being tempted to step out with one talk less kiss one. I have one who put me thru hell cos I rejected her. She happens to work in the same place I do and made me almost lose my job just to humble me cos she thought my pride was what was preventing from dating her but I still didn't. No one is a saint but u got to set priority for urself.

Umunne m

Sorry to say that this man GEJ, has brought nothing but bad luck and omen to Nigeria ever since he decided to break the gentleman's agreement which had been established to maintain a very delicate peace in Nigeria.

If we don't remove this incompetent man, who is surrounded by a bunch of incompetent and thieving advisers, from office come 2015 or earlier, I'm afraid we may end up reducing our population by millions, quicker than a crab blinks an eye.

During GEJ’s tenure, terrorism became the order of the day

Billions of dollars of crude oil has been stolen in full view of all while the terrorists awarded security contracts to protect the roam freely without any accountability

GEJ is a very good man, but we do not need a weakling who is unable to control his own household and wife, or keeping his own party (PDP) united, running our great country aground.

Nwanne m, Mallam GEJ, announce to the world now that you will be a man this time around and stick with your promise to Nigerians that you will only rule for a single term President! After the announcement, proceed to transform the country without the distraction of a political campaign. Biko!

Our people talk say Oke oshimmiri anokataghi rie onye obula nke o na-ahughi ukwu ya anya na him be say, “The ocean never swallows a person with whose leg it does not come in contact”. Don’t be drowned by 2015. Nuff said[/quote]Fine, but if u must highlight the bad also be fair enof and highlight the good. Did GEJ bring terrorism to Nigeria?.. No. Was terrorism not present during OBJ and Yaradua? Yes. GEJ may be seen as weak but has he not done better than OBJ and any other Nigerian leader and head of state? Yes. Why does Nigerians like the OP and his sponsors like to call white black, like to see evil in good, like to turn blind eyes to the need of Nigerians, but prefer to acknowledge and support what is bad against the interest of the masses? Greed.
Nigerians be wise.

citizenisb: “Addressing a Press conference on Thursday, JAH Vice President Allama Zubair Ahmad Zaheer said that his party would hold demonstrations in all major cities to express solidarity with Saudi Arabia, and to condemn Russian president for his wild and unscrupulous threats.

He warned Putin that he would invite wrath from entire Muslim world if he dared to attempt harm Saudi Arabia.

He demanded Islamabad to sever ties with Moscow since Putin’s threat was not meant for Saudi Arabia alone but was a threat to entire Muslim Ummah.

He said Russian president’s threat would be treated as a declaration of war against Islam and a strong Jihad would be waged against Russia from all over the world.”
Why are these Islamic countries cowards. U threaten one of them, they include religion and call the other Islamic countries. How does Russia's threat to Saudi mean a threat on Islam. Did Russia say, we will attack Islam or Saudi. Fucking cowards.
Romance › Re: Secrets About Guys And How Our Minds Work by drnoel:
adim2: Nope. I don't even know the story talk more of remembering it. Lol
In that case let me tell it to u.
Once upon a time, there was a rooster who lived with his family on a tree and loved running. Every morning he takes a long run b4 his other activities. Their closest neighbour was a fox who lived in a hole under the tree. The fox always sees the rooster take his run but was always scared to approach him cos everytime the rooster runs the comb (the red thing on his head) appears as if its on fire due to the speed at which he runs. The fox had been wanting to get close to the rooster and his family 4 years but was scared he would be burnt by that comb (fire).
One day the fox summoned up courage and approached the rooster slyly but at a distance and spoke to the rooster. Telling him he has always admired him from far but was scared to come close cos of that fire thing on his head. Surprised the rooster says "hmm, but why would u be afraid of me. That thing on my head is only flesh" and he invited the fox to feel his head, saying "touch it, it will not burn u". The fox, on touching the head of the rooster realised that he was touching flesh and he lost his fear for the rooster and killed him. U can then imagine what he did to the roosters family?

Moral of this story. U don't tell all ur secrets. U got 2 live some out, thats by the way why its called a secret. So ma guy, let women find out on their own why their men are how they are.
TV/Movies › Re: NTA Cartoons and programmes Of The 70s, 80s And 90s by drnoel(op): 4:42pm On Aug 30, 2013
naptu2: It took me forever to remember the name of this movie. This was one of those "holiday movies" (movies that NTA showed virtually every holiday in the 1980s). It's a delightful, but long, cartoon movie.

The Little Convict (1979).

After failing to sell any of his paintings at a funfair, an artist begins to tell his granddaughter about the origins of his paintings.

We are then transported on board a British convict ship headed for New South Wales where we meet six convicts; Toby Nelson (a young boy), Polly Nelson (Toby's older sister), "Dipper" Davey (an old pick-pocket), Big George (a Blacksmith), Jack Doolan (a highwayman), and "Silly Billy" (a village idiot). The five men are selected to do hard labor for the military - under the supervision of Sergeant "Bully" Langden and Corporal "Weasel" Wesley - while Polly (secretly in love with Big George) is sent to work as a servant girl at the governor's home.

Toby in the meantime saves a baby koala after Bully and Weasel kill it's mother while hunting, and keeps it as a pet, naming it Yo-Yo. But when Bully's continuing abuse of the convicts ends in old Dipper's death, Jack Doolan, fearing a similar fate, escapes and Big George is thrown in jail for helping him to escape.

Left with only Yo-Yo to keep him company, Toby sets out to find Jack Doolan in order to free Big George. Along the way he meets an Aboriginee boy name Whooranga, who has a strange power over animals. Together with Jack Doolan, our three heroes plan a daring rescue attempt for Big George, only to be faced with making the ultimate sacrifice upon carrying it out.

Romance › Re: Secrets About Guys And How Our Minds Work by drnoel: 4:38pm On Aug 30, 2013
adim2: Since we have secrets about ladies and how their mind works, i feel its will be better if we have a topic relating to guys also. Note: this write up is a mere observation about the minds of most guys and a guy can display more than one trait listed in this thread. Also there was no conclusive research as to the % reached.

Guys are simple human that acts mostly on instinct of sight but can be dangerous, if their emotions are taken for granted. People believe that men are polygamous in nature. This assertions might not be totally true as men varies in terms of reasoning, social upbringing, ideologies, values, religious background, cultural belief etc. so Let's get the ball rolling.
THE AGGRESSORS: this kinds of men are usually aggressive towards ladies, this might be as a result of their work, social upbringing(the dad beating up the mum) or any other condition. They beat up any lady that comes their way and they believe that a lady is a second class citizen. They tend to dominate and everything the woman does to please them is welcome with either total beating or insult. Note: this kinds of men are dangerous, and to the ladies any guy that beats u while dating or insults u publicly is a no no, please run from the guy, because he is not going to change when both of u gets married. Rather the physical abuse will increase.
Best u let it remain an enigma, remember the story of the Rooster and the Fox.

So my question is, do medical doctors married to each other tend to have a better marriage than medical doctors who marry spouses having different Occupation?
so cos u asked a medical student out and she turned u down so u concluded that they only date and marry themselves, right? No sir, u are so wrong. I'll have u know I schooled in Nigeria. I will also have u know that while there less than 5 percent dated themselves all thru schooling. I'll have u know that the guys had a phobia 4 their class girls but preferred faster runs with nurses, student nurses and girls in secondary school, polytechnics and university..

As much as it pains me to accept it but senate bench warmer Ngige will win Anambra. Its sad cos their managed to backhandedly discredit the only credible person among the rest. Sad for Nigeria cos this will not stop there. The Uba boys are back again for Anambra with Ngige (a senate bench warmer) running against them this time. Is that now deja vu. Rewind some years back, didn't they kidnap an appointed governor. Where they indicted? No. It that going to repeat itself again? Yes.

An illitrate who was selling kerosene at 50 naira per liter while other companies were selling the same product for 150 naira.

Is capital oil the only company that is in debt in this country?
Am rather disappointed with ur statement. We know how he made his money, pls don't support bad thing. If u where given the opportunity he had in oil and gas then won't u be way larger and wealthier than him. Look, u sound educated so I don't want to insult u neither do I want us 2 engage in throwing one but argue constructively. REHOZIBAH: Arewa forum backs call for sack of NPC Chairman Premium Times

SOURCE: http:///hY6rt5wLg7

The Arewa Consultative Forum, ACF, on Thursday urged the Federal Government not to allow the Chairman of the National Population Commission, NPC, Festus Odimegwu, to conduct the 2016 census.

The call was contained in a communiqué signed by the ACF’s National Publicity Secretary, Anthony Sani, and made available to journalists in Kaduna.

The communiqué was issued after a meeting between the leadership of the forum and the Presidential Committee on Peace and Dialogue.

“ACF appeals to the Federal Government to reconsider its decision to allow the 2016 census under the watch of Chief Festus Odimegwu, for obvious reasons,” the statement read.

The forum also supported the query issued to the NPC chairman by the federal government.

“The meeting noted with delight, the query which the federal government has issued Chief Odimegwu for discrediting past censuses, considering the sensitive nature of census exercise not only in Nigeria but across the globe.”

The communiqué emphasised that the ACF “is not opposed to improvement of management practices that could produce acceptable census needed for planning of socio-economic and political development of the country.”
It said however that it would be unacceptable to describe the censuses as manipulated in favour of a section of the country.

The ACF canvassed support for the committee on dialogue with the Boko Haram, saying the ACF members were fullybriefed on the progress made by the committee to bring an end to “the unsavoury activities of the insurgents.”

“To that end, ACF appeals to all patriotic groups, individuals and the general public to support the federal government’s efforts in this regard,” the group said.
