Ask hubby when wifey's withdrawn mood started or when he noticed it.

I dey suspect you oh OP, on another thread you dey talk about parent in law and your Mum catching you and wifey in a hilarious compromisingly funny sexu.al way yet you can't share with wifey. Note - you didn't say cos wifey is shy but cos she might get angry lipsrsealed
Nna eh! all these people that read threads upside down. I mentioned over and over again that am close to my cousin and he confided in me. Ur suspicion has no ground here my friend. I asked my cousin when her withdrawal started and he said it started after he brought the issue up almost a year after it happened. He said they have been making out all that time without any problem. They have not been talking for days cos she closed up on him alittle, though he mentioned wifey loosed up on Sunday and told him she is ready to talk about it. They haven't spoken about it in details but they made out that Sunday.

I really don't know why, am also a guy and won't tolerate cheating too. B4 I met my wife, I had series of girlfriends too and a few close calls like she described and of course I had 2 tell them something (don't remember them now). I think it just has 2 do with the fact that men are more physical than women. A man may feel nothing after a sex escapade but there must be real pressure on a woman b4 most sane Nigerian women will open their legs 4 anoda man.

Hey guys, what is the funniest thing ur parents or partners parents has done or not done in regards to ur relationship.

Mine goes like this. My mom came visiting us and heard us making out  grin grin grin. We must have been very loud. What do u expect, we haven't seen each other 4 sometime cos I traveled far just returned a day b4. Besides we needed time 4 each other and had stayed indoors (in our bedroom) since I got back. So my mom probably wanted 2 speak with me or something. When I came out later that night 4 dinner, momsy says something like "eh! u young perverts that do nothing but have that thing all day". I asked her mummy what do u mean, young perverts and that thing knowing fully what she meant but wanting 2 see what she'd say. She said so all u people do all day is Be Intimate and scream the house down  grin grin. I asked her how she knew, if she was peeping at us while we were doing it, she just hissed and said " u people sounded like cats and dogs fighting, and later someone started grunting like I pig". I laughed 4 a while till wifey came in and asked me why I was lauhing but I didn't tell her cos she may not have found it funny.

Does anyone have any similar stories like this. He/she should feel free to tell it.

"In my wife's presence" you didn't say it at your wife's back while demanding for her sister's digits. Besides I advice your wife to keep an eye on you cos you men can use any tactic to do and undo, that you said it in your wife's presence does not rule out all possibility of you flirting\doing something intimate with her sister,e don tey wey we dey see that type,na dem do pass sef.
@frecoccoa, lol if not 4 the fact that I like ur posts I 4 begin vex now. But I kind of know u didn't mean what u said. My woman, knows were I stand on that. We have gone through that issue but I didn't fall so she trusts me there. She also know I have a playful nature but would never cross the line, or disrespect her. So don't worry on her behalf. I think I may even show her ur post cos she is not in NL.
Romance › Re: She Has This Compulsive Need To Answer Every Call. WTF!! by drnoel: 11:46am On Jan 21, 2012
White007:
Hey Peeps,

My gf does this stuff that annoys me. We'll be in a restaurant having a conversation, her phone will make a noise and she'll whip it out to check it immediately, and if its a call, she'll answer it right there in the middle of a sentence. She will even wake me up in the morning talking on her phone because someone decided to call at the ungodly hour of 4am. She has this compulsive need to answer every call or text as soon as it comes in, regardless of the situation. It's annoying enough when it's just small talk, but if I'm trying to talk about something important and she interrupts me because her cousin is texting to ask if he can hang out, I get mad.

What should i do? I need a sincere advise on this.
I dislike the sentences I highlighted so much.
Ok, its insulting 4 ur companion 2 just whip-up the fone while u guys are in the middle of a sentence. My wife and I hate that so we don't do it. If the call is too important, then tell her partner 2 hold on b4 answering the fone. The other stuff I dislike is waking someone up arnd 4 am 2 answer ur fone. The only person that should be waking her up that time 2 talk should be u, not her cousins, or friends. She needs 2 set her priority straight or it'll be a problem.

In my opinion, you are insecure and you need to deal with that fast. As long as she does not give you a reason to think she is cheating she probably is not
I don't think it has anything 2 do with his being insecure. U don't know his upbringing or his views on these issues.
I would suggest he discusses the issue with his wife so she knows how he feels about it. Also, it may be wise he meets these men she talks so he gets 2 know them. When he sees their relationship with his wife, it may help him relax better. He should only start worrying, if she refuses to allow him meet them.

@drnoel
You have so much details as a 3rd party. I wonder,

@topic
What's the situation on ground now with the in-laws?
About the having so much details. I remember, I did say my cousin confided in me and didn't reject the idea of my posting it since he nor the wifey are members in NL. He is only a year older than I am and also married a few months b4 I did.
About the situation with the in-laws. There is no problem there. She has a very good relationship with them, though misunderstandings do arise sometimes, but that is normal.

agiboma:
i dont understand how can he of right mind NOT know if he violated his wife huh If she is not talking i would assume its ok, but hey i wasnt there.
I don't know too, thats what he told me.
Royal Roy:
This is a situation am familiar with. Wifey throws everything at you,you try to stop and subdue her, probably lying down on a bed or sofa, out of nt wanting to beat the daylight out of her,u start to kiss her. At this point i wl say for him nt to remember the details was because there wasnt much resistance. I strongly believe the raging wifey would not allow him at that point if she didnt want it. Its ok for him to just move on and be good as the guilt might lead him to "depression in bed".
@Royal Roy, u got the long and short of the story. I also told my cousin to relax and 4get the issue. He should just mend fences with Wifey and not go probing the past, if Wifey is not bordered about it. He should just enjoy his marriage and keep making luv with is wife. I told hi I didn't see any major problem as long as it does not affect their relationship.

ifyalways:
@Royal Roy,If i got you right, your wife enjoys seex just after a semi physical assault huh

@OP,what is the man's problem NOW?According to your story, the fight and seex was before their wedding, they are now happily married so why is this still an issue?or have they had repeats of such scenes?
No there was no re-occurrence of that previous incidence. He just tried 2 speak with his wife about it but she blocked it out, refused 2 talk and then got very depressed.

doctokwus:
So after living together for this number of years,in-law issues still cropped up to d extent of it going physical. So what av they bn doing all d living together years, just f u ck ing& not bonding?
They just being living 2gether 4 a few months.

Ujujoan:
So what exactly is his problem?

Is he expecting not to have disagreements in his marrigae?

These things happen, he should put it behind him and enjoy his marriage . . . IMO!
Thats what I told him ooo

If they are planning to take over North and the Northerners are watching, then its good for them!
I'll have u know Nigeria is not just north, south, east and west. Its a country of diverse people. The idea of a soley predominant Islamic north should be crushed now or it will cause problems 4 us and our children later. Islam may not be a violent religion but just like the crusaders misinterpreted the Bible, the Quran has be easily misinterpreted before and that will not stop. If we allow, the North to have a predominant Islamic sect and religion, I promise u all, it would definitely spill over 2 our families in the south. Family › Wifey Is Touchy About Issues, What Should He Do by drnoel(op): 8:43pm On Jan 17, 2012
Guys, just finished speaking with my cousin about some issues. He seems 2 need help cos its tearing him apart but his wifey refuses to discuss it. He is not in NL and though I asked his permission 2 post it and he didn't refuse. He is crushed and needs some kind of advice.

He had a major fight with Wifey a few days 2 their wedding. The issues causing the fight were major ones, about family and in-laws. She wasn't sure his family accepted her but they had tackled this issue over and over and he has asked her 2 trust him. They've dated since University and they are both working. They've been 2gether 4 six years. They wanted 2 get 2 know themselves, build individual independence 4rm each other b4 they tired the knot, which they were about 2 do then this issue came up.

The major fight: The major fight they had was so bad that she said some nasty things about his mom and his family. U can't blame the girl, she has been almost on her head organizing their wedding. He was so hurt that he told her something nasty, then they started shouting, and then screaming at each other. She was really mad she attacked him and they came 2 blows off which she was doing the blowing and he was trying to hold her off. They ended up making luv.

What is killing him? Now he is convinced he must have forced her 2 make luv wit him that day, even though it solve the problem then. He says he really can't remember how it happened but things happened so fast. Beside since then they have not had any re-occurrence of the issue. The only time he tried to discuss it with her, she was really so depressed that after he helped her out of her depression he was really scared to bring it up again. They've been making luv since then without problems but he hopes she'd talk 2 him about it so he can relax his mind. Its killing him cos he luvs her and he didn't mean 2 hurt her if he did, but then how can he know if she doesn't talk 2 him about it. Their marriage is fine, she is crazy about him and he is also really in2 her. How can he make her talk 2 him?

Thanx but no thanx. Thank heavens am not a girl, I have played girls in the past but I didn't go resorting to those kind of cheap talks 2 get in2 their pants. Besides I've jokingly used those cheap lines b4 on my wives elder sister in my wifey presence and we all laughed about it. My wifey's sister neva misunderstood or took it that I wanted her cos I didn't and she knew I would neva sacrifice the relationship with my wife 4 anything in this world.

I am just sitting in my corner thinking: does ‘love’ still exist in relationships? Somehow, I can hear Michael Jackson singing in the background “Billie Jean is not my lover, she’s just a girl who claims that I am the one (but the kid is not my son)….” I am quickly reminded of a line from the South African motion picture ‘Jerusalema’ when a hijacker said ‘a car is like a woman, it requires to be treated gently….’ Yes indeed, a woman is like a car! I will look into this from a different angle though. It never crossed my mind until now, that relationships or rather, women are like smart phones. It’s about their interface, features and price, right? Like it or not but this is what has become of our world.
Maybe you’re thinking, ‘what the hell is he talking about, I am in a good relationship and can’t look any further’. – If you’re like that, damn, you’re lucky! In that good relationship of yours, but I am sorry to say that chances are you’re somehow being scr*wed if you’re not the one doing the sc*wing. If I would attempt to pen down all the reasons for the bad relationships we see or sometimes we are involved in, I might as well write a book.

My focus is evidently on women. Believe it or not, I know and acknowledge that women are a tender species who deserve nothing short of TLC. (Oh-boy, feels good to say that. I guess its music to your ears too! – I am talking to women, you punk!!!!) I do however feel that they have somehow let go of their guards and as a result they have to be subjected to being emotionally belittled by their male counterparts or some by other women with unique sexual orientation (in gay relationships).
Every boy has a dream. In his dream what comes first is the car that he wants to drive but in almost every case scenario, he starts very small building his way up. In like manner, men will go for just about any girl who will make her way between the sheets. After being convinced that there can never be a more massive car than that BMW 7- series, there comes an intelligent young woman (men tend to value their cars most, there is much emotions attached to a guys car than on anything. Because in a car a guy can inscribe a reflection of himself)! Unfortunately this girl cannot be the one who has 3 children to her credit. It’s almost everyone’s fantasy to marry a virgin. If that woman is no longer a virgin, at least the same boy should be the one who took it. With this in mind, it is really heart sickening to note that the numbers are rapidly increasing of women who allow themselves to be made a playing ground by mostly married men who are suffering from unstable relationships in their homes.

After losing virginity to married men, girls then become so vulnerable that they willingly throw themselves onto every little punk that comes their way. Unfortunately the little punk at this point will be in the practice session. In other words to this boy, you’re just as good as the old and uncomfortable Toyota Tazz at the driving school. He just needs you for the duration of his practice. And by the time he is done with, you will be due for major service with worn-out tyres, possible broken tail lamps and smelly clutches. (at least on a car, these are replaceable, and the car can be put to good condition again,) unfortunately the same cannot be said for a woman, you may have to live up to your bad choices and suffer the consequences for the rest of your life) Men are naturally too proud to go for a “left over” They pride themselves so much about their kids especially when the kid is a boy.

If you’re not carefully you will be just the ‘Nissan Sentra’ to push time whilst the guy works his way up to the ride of his dreams, the BMW
