Eizenburg: Whoever came up with this obviously carried out a survey, realized the modal rental is N25k and decided to reduce his/hers by N2k.
The $1m question is the hidden terms and conditions, not the weekly rental Brand new car for 23k naira weekly. What type of car .. I recall when Ogataxi came out with their own cars, they brought in a lot of cars to give out for rental.. I dont hear much of them now ...

I knew you would be amont the first to react like I predicted. I wouldn't say anything now till I see T&C .. So kindly post it sir .....brand new car for 23k rental, make you read the T&C before you come here to say uber na slavery.. Thanks. I will give u heads once it arrives.. Have come across a lot lately ,with in good condition and excellent, mostly from private owners |

steevy: Good morning all,
My mechanic asked the oil I was using after he noticed the bit of white smoke coming from my 4 plugs 2007 Accord. I told him I use the recommended Honda 5w-20 engine oil and he asked if the car shorts oil and the answer is no. He advised to change it next time with this Mobil super 20-w50 xhp oil saying he is not comfortable with the smoking. What do you guys think please? Change or not change. Engine oil killer |

Felicity0001: Hi guys hope your week is starting in a good note.
Guys how do you handle riders who always want to eat in the car, I'm finding it very difficult to handle most riders in this. Most of them feel it's normal to eat in the car and most say I'm the first uber driver to call their attention on that.
One among the 3guys I carried last night around 2am says "after all its my right, I'm paying so I can do anything I like..." I just ended trip then asked them to come down of my vehicle, "i wont pay you". Me: no problem about that "I'll rate you low" Me: i dont give a Bleep about rating. please come down I've close for the day this is a destination trip thats y I on my bolt app.
Las las his other friend who was cool headed was now trying to calm the situation and was begging I drop them. They knew it will be diffixult for them to get a ride home they now calm down. Yet the most stubborn one among them still did eat quietly behind.
I need clue in how beat to handle such riders please. Put a sign that says no eating in the car .. Make sure the sign is professionally done, and it is in view of anyone that sits in the car .. Most importantly the sign has to be nicely done and printed |

Still isn't actually. Lessons stopped with Conoil but he still calls for advice. This our Nigerian youths, are not ready to put in work and time.. I will just mind my business, my greatest weakness is that am too compassionate , I have to learn to unlearn that weakness of mine.. A Person go broke or mental , better yet both .. This is Nigeria , it is a jungle .... Let me give example, I was around Last year, we gave someone 5k naira to help me buy something.. When we look at the item, I called a friend to come and see wetin person buy for us . He looked at and said this is rubbish and how much did I buy it . Out of shame and embarrassment, I said 3k naira, he said which 3k naira ,this is 500naira. He said call the boy to come and collect the rubbish.... And this is same person look for assistance for rent money...... You can't help them in this naija.. Na to just dey look and do your business.. You cant save everyone and can't help everyone too |

Dbossmanager: lol...too outrageous... .....let me break it down for you just incase: You need at least 1.5million naira to get a toks Toyota Corolla 2005 if you are bringing it in yourself... If you are buying it here...you need at least 1.7million naira....
comprehensive insurance..... around 65000 (axamansard) Tracker.....25 to 30k.... Car registration......45 to 50k.... miscellaneous.....5k Total......around 130k......for the first year... For the second year.... renewal.......around 15k...... comprehensive insurance.....around 65k.....axamansard..... Total around 80k....
Sum total......if you bring it in yourself....around 1.7million... If not.....then around 2million....
See....he is not even making up to 50 percent annually for his investment.....and the truth is he will not get back his money at the stipulated time....
So please before some peeps start cursing out investors....you need to fantom the amount of risk they are taking in investing their capitals in this venture....
3million naira might be high but not outrageous...people make more than triple of that investing in less risky businesses.... Why does it have to be Corolla, can't we think outside the box.. Sometimes am tempted to tell people my landing cost of my civic , apart from that a tokunbo 03 to 04 civic that you buying from a dealer should not be more than 1.3m .. At one point I was contemplating importing more civic and rent it out for 20k naira weekly, and I will still handle 100% repairs. But no matter how you want do am ,drivers will still give excuse. Am still thinking of experimenting that idea.. But with dru23, you might never know You said ....people make more than triple of that investing in less risky businesses.... Since you were able to break down some figures on your above post.. We are here to learn, can you break down the business that will triple my money with less risk.. After all we are here to learn.... Make I find biro and notebook.. I forgot self ,make I go get popcorn with nice chill coke cola .... |

I find it funny that people actually believe Adenuga works till 1am
1am?
So the senior managers, heads of depts and team leads will work till 6am na. Abi dem go close by 5pm leave Adenuga for Odeku till 1am?
The "Rich dad, Poor dad" author made most of his money selling his books, than actually starting a business. Make Una try to dey look some lies well, before you believe am
Adenuga no fit work Mon-friday and close 12am set. It's absolutely impossible
But then, there's freedom of choice Adenuga, has paid his dues? When he was working is ass off, you were busy running around in your diapers, A man that has paid his dues, can do whatever he likes, .. Some still wrk late, not because they have to ,but they are motivated by finding solutions to problems... Young man, nothing is easy bro, this life is never fair and you have to get use to it .. And the unfortunate thing here is , if you guys were giving an opportunity, I don't feel confident enough that you guys will make the best out of it. Most Nigerian just want to get rich, without putting in the work. If any Nigerian under 40yrs becomes president, they will more than likely become more corrupt than the ones before them.. The feeling of I have suffer enough, must chop my own etc .. The corruption has eaten the fabric of the society that it is broken beyond repairs... A typical example is friend that I try to help. He mismanaged the business and today he is barely making it by .. His family member pleaded with me to help him and get a car for him .. I will never help me again, I did my best and now let God do his own best for him .. Not that am mad at him , I just know that there is not enough confidence that this guy is ready to work .. Unfortunately this is the mind set of most Nigerians ,either young or old.. So sad ,but this is the reality that I have seen and experience..... |

BAZ001: Indeed so mike Adenuga is working from p 5am to 1am everyday ? Or he's just attending meetings. Do you know if there is a bedroom in his office. I work from 7am to 6pm now and I can still be called at anytime btw 6pm -11:59pm when on my shift. I seat inside AC, Free breakfast, lunch n dinner with tea breaks in btw
so if I tell you dt I'm in d office from 7am to 9pm everyday you will compare me to someone driving round Lagos from morning till night Stop comparing other jobs to driving in Lagos Driving in Lagos you must be balance Emotionally, physically and mentally alert Trying to avoid accidents by crazy drivers, lastma, riders dt want to scam you. Robbers dt want to steal ur phone inside traffic.
Oga dru just keep enjoying ur gbagada sorry USA

northbird: Always derailing the purpose of d thread,
I mean d media gave you wrong info, you are saying somtin else.
Chairman has always been reclusive from inception. so d media just gave you all that sensational stuff to make you guys enjoy d reading.
Yèyé was an established wealthy business woman of repute as far back as d 70's wt strong ties wt d ijebu royalty.
Once again, you just saying wat d media wants you to know. The word wealthy gets toss around a lot.in Nigeria.. People talk of Nigerian billionaire , like their USA counter part.. A person does not have to be worth up to $100 millions , to a billionaire in naira .. Now , I don't know all the facts about his mother's wealth in the 70's .. But am sure that wealth didn't make him who is today. Am sure at one point that ''wealth '' ran out and he had to hustle and established real wealth that can be pass on from generation to generation. I graduated from wealthy high school in Nigerian. The kids in my school that were consider rich or wealthy , where rich or wealthy because my parent didn't have money like them .. So the word rich and gets toss around.. Please keep in mind rich and wealthy are two different meaning.. People can be rich ,but wealthy is on different level. Now .. What is the bench mark to differentiate wealthy and rich.. Do will say Dangote is rich compare to Bill Gates? How can we really separate the two ,it is very complicated for me .. But I do know one thing the word wealth gets toss around a lot. The word "legend" in the business industry gets toss around a lot. everybody is legend wizkid, Davido, etc The word legend has no respect anymore ..... The question here again ,how do we define been rich and been wealthy ? |
